Today is Bungie Day and to celebrate it Bungie brought the community an announcement regarding beta details for their game Destiny.
Earlier today Bungie finally announced the date the beta will launch for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 and that date is July 23rd. Xbox users who obtained a beta code can jump in from 10AM PDT.
The beta comes six days after the launch date for the PS3 & PS4 (July 17th) and it will close on July 26th at the end of the day for all platforms. Bungie is also giving beta testers a special emblem to use in the final release of the game, but in order to obtain the emblem they have instructed players to be on from 8PM PDT on July 26th.
"Yup! Play the Destiny Beta on Saturday, July 26th, beginning at 8PM PDT, to earn an exclusive emblem for the retail version of Destiny. We’ll also be delivering some fun and unexpected surprises throughout the Beta!". Sated in their FAQ.
Note: the beta will be offline for maintenance on July 21st and July 22nd PDT for the PS3 and PS4.
