Sony has announced the list of games that will be available for the launch of the new PS4 console as well as the release date for the PS4 itself. It will be released in the US on November 15th and in Europe on November 29th 2013. There were additional announcements made regarding the PlayStation Vita which will receive a new price of €199 EU and $199 US. The new pricing goes into effect as of yesterday August 20th. Additionally, though no details were given, the high priced memory cards for the Vita will be significantly reduced, according to SCEE boss Jim Ryan.
Sony also states that in addition to the Blu-ray and digital releases, it will also pre-install The Playroom on all PS4 consoles. This program teaches players how to use DualShock 4 controller and allows them to play various AR games using the PlayStation Camera, which is sold separately.
