  5. Greetings everyone, We have many plans for the future of this site, first and foremost is defiantly converting to a forum system that is much more customizable. We currently are using PHPbb as our forum system and will be converting the whole forum into IP.Board with IP.Content. IP.Board will allow us to implement many new things for not only our members and staff, but also in ways to help promote the site. IP.P has everything we currently have and more, as well as new modules such as a report center so it will be easier for our staff to monitor the boards. If anyone wants to read more about IP.Board Click here IP.Content will be our main page, our index page with all of our up to date news in the Halo world. As well being able to implement many features such as twitter news updates of top people in halo and statistics of the whole forum... There are many more options that will be added as well all you need to know is that it will be our main index page. If anyone wants to read more about IP.Content Click here While we convert from 1 forum system to another the board will be offline, the initial move should not take very long. All Member, Topic, Posts will all be saved. Everything should stay the same. We plan on expanding our forums as well as adding many things such as user ranking, fully custom profile, user status pages and updates. As well changing our user groups to more halo oriented groups as well as adding a new group for people who have taken their halo knowledge to the extreme, users will be able to confirm is fact from fiction with these "Halo Gods" I dont need to explain everything currently as we will get more into it once we have converted to our new system. This should take place with in the next 2 weeks, we are waiting for our funds to get approved. Here is our current road map - Purchase IP.Board - Purchase IP.Content - Await License approval - Install IP.Board - Install IP.Content - Convert our current system to our new one - Upgrade User profile - Add user groups - Add user ranks - Add Shout Box System - Add a "forum suggestion" forum. - Get a custom made 343Industries skin created This is just the basic first steps we will be taking.   9. Yes thats true, i mostly play 3v3 party with my friends.
  10. There are many different strategies that people use in Halo Wars, i just wish that there was not so much Rushing involved. I enjoy a long back and forth game not one where the other teams attacks within the first 5 min.
  11. I have deleted the spam and banned the account, we will be promoting a user to moderator sooner then i thought since it seems be a so prone to spam.

Since spam is such a big problem i will be promoting someone to moderator really soon since i dont want to wait and have the bored full of spam.
  13. Well i deleted all the Bots posts and banned it. Requirements to be a moderator is just to be willing to scan the forums for spam and delete topics make by bots and ban them as well. Just needs to drop by the forum at least once a day.

  16. Hello Everyone, It seems that we are getting spammed with bots that seem to be only advertising adult content. I have setup some spam precautions, such as now all IP's that connect to this site are compared to a database of Spam IP's provided by <!-- m -->

  20. Hello all, Currently this site is not getting maintained to the fullest. Plans are being made to do a complete overhaul to make everything look a lot better and to add a homepage to the site with upcoming news confirmed releases and more. We will be doing Giveaway's to a few lucky members soon, small things such as MP3 Players, Touch screen Multimedia devices and more. This will possibly start once we reach 500 members but maybe sooner. A referral system will be set up to that members can tell their friends to join. Prizes will guaranteed to be given to the Top referral, Top Poster(Not Spam), and some other system we have not yet decided. BUT!!! This is not going to be the only way to get a prize since i know that not all people will like to post or can refer other members we will come up with a method where every user can can receive a chance. Maybe something along the lines as for 1 month every 12 or 24 hours you as a user can obtain 1 token for free and every token is a chance to win. At the end of the month we will randomly using Random.org will select a few winners. Yes a few winners i dont want to do all this to only have 1 person win thats not fair right ? So not entirely sure at the moment of how the random winners will win but there will defiantly be a chance for everyone to win. So tell me what you all think about this.
