Any fans of MMORPGs? World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, Elder Scrolls Online... There are a bunch of them in development by independent studios and should release in the coming months / years. They don't promise worlds as complex or polished than AAA mainstream MMORPGs, but they feature interesting and often innovative mechanics: multi-crew spaceships, single shard universe (one huge server for all the players), time-limited campaigns, etc. I've made a list out of 18 of the most promising (imo) and popular MMO in development by indie studios. I guess that this would be a decent solution to prevent DDOS attacks? If the IP gets changed regularly it should reduce the odd the Xbox gets reached?

What Other Games Do You Play Besides Halo
francisbaud replied to Melody's topic in General Discussion
I played Halo a looong time ago, and now I'm game free since a couple years (except playtesting indie MMORPGs for less than an hour). Had a lot of fun in Halo, was playing with friends on Xbox. -
Which older game do you keep going back to?
francisbaud replied to Jay_Magnus's topic in General Discussion
I'd say League of Legends, although I've stopped playing it for a couple years now. I started playing LoL in 2012 I think, and kept me interested until 2014, and tried again in 2018. Not a bad game, pretty addicting with its short (30 minutes) matches and replayability. -
Recent released game I was (somewhat) excited about was Valheim, a survival game with 1-10 players per map, with procedural generation, building with stability checks, digging, boss fights, dungeons, sea travel, etc. It sold more than 5 million copies in a month.

Name: Guild Wars Platforms: PC Genre: Online Role-Playing Game Brief Description: Released in 2005, Guild Wars features cooperative missions that 4-8 players can play together and will advance the story. As quests are completed, new area and new quests are made available. There are also PvP arenas in GW where players fight each others. Overall the game is high quality, has a beautiful art style and interesting quest line. It has been played by more than 12 million players. Similar to: GW has a pretty unique game design and I do not know any other similar coop RPG. I've made a quick search on Google but didn't find anything. It's like a MMORPG but with way less players per map.
