Don't get me wrong, that sounds like an alright explanation, and to anyone who keeps telling me where the armor scar is from, that wasn't the question I asked.

Tisk tisk, still doesn't answer my question. Why is there damage on a whole different suit of armor unless they just magically changed Chief's mark vi for no apparent reason?

Who cares about the shoulders. Why is there damage on the breast plate? I mean, 343 could not have seriously thought that they could just go against story and change his mark vi? I mean, I understand if it's a different set of armor, but that damage on the breast plate is a clear indication that it's not. Disappointed.

Nah. There's a fine line between the console players and the pc players. I'd rather have halo on xbox360 simply because pc players have advantages and they always tend to brag about them. Besides, if people want halo so much, they need to break down, and spend the 100-200 bucks to buy a console instead of being stingy forever.

Okay, so today I was informed by a gamestop employee, that the release date for halo 4, according to the gamestop computer, is November 2nd. I'm not totally sure whether it is true or not, so please don't flame me for it. But, I went by a gamestop employee's word and the gamestop computer. So I've noticed alot of people put too much expectation into Halo 4. Such as being able to drive every vehicle, wanting forerunner, precursor weapons, playing as any character. This comes natural to any new release though. People always want more variety, and I understand that, but for me, more variety doesn't always mean more fun. Like lets say, in multiplayer, I played as a grunt and you played as...a forerunner...then I get angry from dying...and decide to be a forerunner...then everyone else is forerunners and is running around with the most powerful weapon and what not. Sorry, terrible example, but I hope you understand what I mean. Look at Call of Duty....sure it's popular now, but it's surely going down hill, very rapidly. I'm not a call of duty fan. Though I did like Call of Duty 4, why you ask? A bit of variety. Smooth multiplayer gameplay. No over powered weapons -in my opinion anyways- __ Now then I played Call of duty modern warfare 2........then the others... and...well you know what I mean. Sure, we know 343 will listen to us and our needs, but just because we want something, doesn't automatically mean that it is best for the Halo Franchise in general. Now here's my opinion and what I want for Halo (You don't have to read it, it's pretty irrelevant) - Smooth gameplay- -Normal Halo weaponry (Not too much shiny forerunner weaponry)- -To play as Spartans and Elites in regular matchmaking (And maybe anything else in a different matchmaking playlist)- -To use a decent amount of vehicles.- -Beautifully orchestrated music...like in Halo 2- As for weapon customization......look at Call of duty..they went overboard...now as for Battlefield Bad Company 2, if you have ever played it, the weapon variety is damn near perfect in my opinion. Now I've always loved Halo 2 more than any other Halo, though I love halo 1 and 3 and odst almost just as much, simply because of the gameplay. ___ So what are your thoughts on Halo 4? What would you like out of Halo 4? What is the future YOU see for it?

I wouldn't worry about his armor. Frank O'Connor stated that he knows Master chief's look is very important to the community so they will do their best to not up and ruin it for everybody, besides, that teaser doesn't really mean anything. I seen the exact teaser, except where instead of Master Chief reloading that explosive gun, he throws it to the side. I think it's just 343 testing CGI than it is really anything else to take serious.

It humors me that you say that, considering that it seems that it is YOU who doesn't know what you are talking about. I AM active on B.net. And unlike you, I probably pay more attention to what goes on there more than 3 times every 2 months. People like you make me want to gag. Acting like you know anything at all about the community. YOU need to pay more attention. You know why I KNOW people wanted jetpacks, and bloom, and AA's in general? The beta ********. When people got a hint of the beta, they wanted all those abilities but to be fixed, and that is what bungie did. Now how about you use the little bit of knowledge you have and go jump off a bridge. Try to hit some rocks. PS. When searching for rants about armor abilities and bloom etc, be sure not to just use "bloom, aa's" in the search bar. Try using some more common sense. If you actually know about the community at all, you'd know that there is probably more than 18 threads a day on halo reach forum at b.net, ranting about AA's and bloom. Up untill about 5 months ago. Go kill yourself. You failure.

You know what I think? I think that it isn't Chief's armor considering that Frank O'connor stated that the community takes the look of the chief very seriously and that they do not want to intrude in any way. And on top of that note, it's understood on bungie.net that the teaser trailer is just to test CGI. Very many games do this. For instance, Franchis from L4D had a ponytail before the game's release. Marcus Phoenix's face was more elongated. I mean would 343 really mess up Chief's armor? I think not.

Okay so if you guys haven't noticed, ALOT of people converted back to halo 3 after the release of Reach. Before the release of reach however there were alot of complaints on things that people hated about halo 3, like.....the idea you can hit and kill someone with a melee after their shields are down just halfway......you wanted bloom..enable to separate the "noobs" from the supposed "pros"......and you wanted abilities, like jetpack, or armorlock, or even invisibility as examples. Each time after though, you complained alot more about the wishes you were granted, and in the end, lot of the community resorted back to the more classic halo ways of halo 3. I'm pointing out that for one, alot of you want the whole "shoot-beatdown" thing back now. Alot of you don't want bloom anymore. And alot of you don't want AAs. Making it closer to Halo 3 and the other halo games before it. I'm here to say that, you don't know what you want it seems. Bungie, when making reach, listened to the community alot more than they did with the previous halos, and in return, the community is leaving to play it's predecessors. The community seems to be wanting Halo to play more like old times. Does the Halo community actually know what it really wants? I mean it seems the more leash you give a dog, the more it pulls you. I'm here to ask, what do you actually think Halo 4 needs? I mean, just because you want it to be a sandbox game, doesn't mean it will turn out so great, there are plenty of sandbox games that haven't even got near a tenth of what halo 1-2-3 has brung in. It seems the Halo community always wants more, like a black hole. I would like to ask you today, what do you think the halo 4 actually needs?

Actually I would have to disagree. There is no books regarding the other spartans that takes place after Halo 3. I HAVE read some of the books. Of course Master Chief isn't the only spartan alive, BUT Linda may not be Dead, but they do not seem to being helping John very much at all, considering she's trapped in Onyx. I know Fred may be alive on Onyx. But like I said, that isn't any help at all. And considering he and Linda hasn't seem to have made appearances, I think it's safe to say MIA.

I'm not trying to put you down or anything, but that video isn't halo canon based, it's said to be just an animation that's being worked off of by rooster teeth. I don't really trust Wikipedia when it comes to information on things.
