The most ideal situation is to have both on there but obviously that is highly unlikely. When in comes to picking one or the other firefight seems like the better pick for me although I would almost prefer to have Spartan Ops reworked. I think the idea that 343i had of making the player feel s/he is part of the lore with the infinity/war games theme they had going on is an absolutely great idea but I would consider the way it was executed to be done poorly. Spartan Ops having a very linear story line made me feel like it was just another campaign. I would suggest to make games like "The Wolf Among Us" and "The Walking Dead" by Telltale Games an example when reworking it. I'm not saying to completely copy them, instead to give the player the element of choice. Choice is what makes Telltale's games so engaging, and if 343i is aiming for that, I feel that there is no better way to achieve it. How it would be executed? Well that would be the tricky part but I don't doubt 343i's ability in doing so successfully.

Hello there, my name is "King of Winter" or just King, or just Lionel, and I'm new here. Kinda. As you can tell I have had active on the site before, although that was a long time ago. Towards the end of summer last year, school started to get in the way of many things and after nearly a whole year I decided to renew my gold subscription and get back into Halo, leading onto coming back to this site in which I have had a really good time on from what I remember. But why I am introducing myself as a new user? Well After looking around a bit, I didn't really recognize anyone immediately. There is the group of people that I remember well, but from the looks of it a lot of the people I spent time conversating with are mostly gone. So here I am. My name is Lionel. I like to play Halo. I like cheese. I have lived a pretty boring, but peaceful, life this past year and I'm looking to spice it up. I love football (American), I also watch football (Australian) when I can because the games are usually on at 1 am due to time zone difference. This is unusual but I use Flash CS5.5 to edit all my pictures like my signature. Pretty much my cousin taught me how to use Flash MX and I began to animate, just stick figures though. When new versions came out, obviously new features did too, ones that made it easier to manipulate pictures. So what I did is got pictures from Google Images and edited them and animated them. I then realized that Flash could be used effectively for picture editing. Personally, I would take Flash over Photoshop most of the time because I usually do simplistic things, over the top things that you can do on Photoshop aren't really attractive to me, but Flash does have its limits since its a program meant for animation.

As an extension to my previous post: In my filming class, I did an original short as my final, and it was a serious drama. Everything came out really good as in the shots, editing (which I can help in, editing itself, color correction, sound, etc.) but I had crap actors, luckily I wasn't being graded for the acting and still received a good grade but because of the acting, the whole thing kinda felt like a big joke.

The thing about the voice actors is very true, as long as you work with what you have, this can come up being a good machinima. I can help with the writing in any way you need me too.

Serious > Humorous, but there always space for comic relief which is good, as I was reading the basis for your plot (which I think is very solid to built upon it) I imagined the AI Monitors as being kind of nerdy/awkward/quirky and kind of clueless about the whole situation even though having a large knowledge about forerunner artifacts and stuff. Personally, I would go for serious, but for a machinima to be taken seriously, you'll need a lot of character development instead how -Sparky- said, random violence.

I hope this isn't Halo 5, Halo 4 is still a new game. I hope its some sort of spin-off like ODST, but Halo 5, wait at least minimum 2 years, best waiting period for me is 3 years.
