  3. There's quite a few more than you think. Girls just get abused over any online source. It may be sexist insults, flirrting and perverted comments or trash talking because they think the "girl" sucks. I mean it's sad really, even sadder the guys don't do the stuff in real life. I support girl gamers. My girlfriend is one. Although she tends to stick around pc games, especially browser ones, but that doesn't matter. Gamers are gamers. People just need to act better online. Male or Female. That is cool by the way giving all your girl that stuff .

  6. Hello and welcome to 343i community forums.
  7. What would a dungeon-crawler be without a sprawling menagerie of loot? Our guide to Diablo III's Loot System will aid you in quickly becoming an expert in which item yields what, how your brand new shinies can be identified, and how each is generated. You'll be an epic hoarder in no time, and we mean that in the nicest way possible. What's a loot drop? As you rampage through Sanctuary felling enemies or bashing any type of breakable object you're often rewarded with "loot drops," otherwise known as a pile of swag. Like you'd gather at E3 or another convention, but in-game. These randomly-generated collectible items will fall to the ground for you to squirrel away. For some, it's why they fight. For others, it's a steady stream of income-generating valuables that aid in the epic quest ahead. The items dropped can range from potions, weapons, armor, gold, and other types of equipment. Diablo 3 Guide: Beginner's Guide -- Welcome to Sanctuary Of course, there is a system in place to determine at which interval specific items are available, and what they are. There are several variables by which loot is distributed: if it drops at all, how much of it, and what the properties of each item actually is. Anything from a monster's level to the type of breakable item destroyed can affect what type of drop you receive. For instance, a low-level enemy most likely isn't going to produce a top-tier item. Slay a more formidable foe, and the loot produced is much more valuable. What types of loot are there and how is it generated? You can find attribute-enhancing equipment like a brand new sword to raise your Damage, or armor that raises Defense stats. But unlike most other dungeon-crawlers, there's no real "set" index of what type of items are available to uncover. Diablo III generates an item drop after you slay a monster, but starts with one "vanilla" -- bland -- piece of equipment. After the equipment is settled upon, quality and rarity are weighted in as an afterthought. In simplest terms, the quality and rarity of the enemy slain are the determining factors as to what item you will receive, relevant to the defeated monster's level. Sometimes, special properties are attached to an item, which can be discerned by "affixes," or descriptors added either before or after the regular item name. You may have seen these names before in your previous outings with Diablo, or if you're new to the series, in other similar games in the genre. For example, if a monster drops an item known as the Sword of the Heavens, the base item would obviously be a normal sword with no particular additional elements. In this case, the game has given the plain-Jane sword another name, in the form of the suffix "of the Heavens." Thus, the weapon effectively has two different elements: the normal damage dealt by the base item (the sword) and the powers granted by "of the Heavens," which in our example might heal the Hero. The tougher the monster, the rarer the drop, and the mightier the weapon or item. Some affixes such as "of razors," "of the castle," or "of malice" require a minimum level for certain weapons. This is not the case for all affixes such as chest armor "of the gladiator" does not require a certain level for the player to attain it. If you're looking for that dagger "from beyond" or you want to wear a ring "of death," there's a bit of grinding between you and the level you need to reach in order to find this particular item. What kind of special items can I potentially receive? There are several different tiers of items that go along with the levels of each monster successfully slain. Kill a lowly scrub, and you will most likely receive a lowly item -- if you get an item at all. A random item is dropped according to which tier the monster belongs to, according to level. Very rarely this may not be the case -- you could absolutely find a rarer, high-quality item when facing a low-level enemy. But don't expect this to be the norm. In fact, many items in Diablo III are actually quite common pieces of equipment. But there are a menagerie of items that carry special properties, divided into three different categories: Legendary items, Special Sets, and Rare and Magic items. Diablo 3 Guide: Auction House FAQ And Information What are Legendary items? Exactly what they sound like -- "legendary" loot drops that come with a powerful mix of enhanced abilities and properties, making them one step above normal equipment. They're also given different types of names: for example, Echoing Fury or Leoric's Crown (a mace and a helm, respectively). You can discern a Legendary weapon from a regular weapon from its brown backgrounds and lettering when checking their stats in menu windows, and they are usually found after killing off the big daddies ofDiablo III -- the Big Bads you're dying to square off with. Basically, the stronger the monster, the better your change of nabbing a Legendary item. What are Special Sets? Just like you might coordinate a matching outfit in real life, you can do the same thing in game. You may often find items with matching properties and equip them separately as the need permits. Equip items at the same time that all belong to one magical set, and you will be awarded additional buffs, abilities, and enhancements. You can discern a piece of a Special Set by checking your menu window for green backgrounds and green font. Crafting individual pieces is expensive, and finding each piece is a work in itself, so be very selective when dealing with Special Sets. What are Rare & Magic items? These items are normal, everyday drops, only enchanted with special properties. They're easily identified by their blue backgrounds in menu screens and blue fonts. As we've gone over, the Loot System of Diablo III is quite an intricate one. Before setting out to amass a collection of your own, why not educate yourself on the potential combinations and available items? You might be saving yourself some time before setting off to slay low-level enemies looking for a Legendary drop. What items have you come across in your quest so far?
  8. I like playing as master chief or any character, multiplayer is cool and all but campaign beats it. Especially master chiefs story. There needs to be lots of stuff added for campaign. I support the 2 disk idea. I don't care about rank or armor as long as i have fun. All that matters.

  10. This Diablo 3 quick tips video will help you level up faster, get the best items, earn extra gold, and more. After playing through Blizzard Entertainment's action role playing game, we found that there are a few ways to make the experience as a whole better and we wanted to share them with you. Check them out below. Diablo 3: Top 8 Tips You Need To Know GUIDE: Diablo 3 Guide -- Your Guide to Our Guides After the break you can find a full breakdown of each Diablo 3 quick tip. Your character can autorun as long as you hold down the left mouse button where you want them to go. This means less clicking so your fingers won’t get as tired during long playsessions. In most cases don’t pick up any gear that's grey or white unless it’s a health potion or a gem. Generally they’re never useful, don't sell for much, and you’ll easily find better quality gear while you’re out adventuring. Don’t worry about crafting gear in the beginning of the game. You'll always find better gear out while exploring for the most part. You should keep all of the blue and yellow items you find to salvage at the Blacksmith though, since you can use the materials you get from salvaging them later in the game to craft higher level items. If you know you're going to be playing with the same few friends, pool your resources when it comes to crafting. That way, one blacksmith/jewelcrafter will reach a really high level and can make higher-level gear for everyone rather than everyone having low level artisans. GUIDE: Diablo 3 Beginner Guide - Welcome To Sanctuary Remember that your artisans are persistent regardless of which character you play on, so you should always train them when you have gold so they get access to better, higher-level gear and new crafting recipes. Gold’s useless except for the Auction House and repairing, so use all of it on training your artisans. To salvage items faster at the Blacksmith, click on the salvage tab under Crafting, then click the anvil icon on your items rather than dragging your items to the anvil to salvage them. You can retrain your followers for free at anytime by right clicking on their portrait and selecting retrain. Turning on Elective Mode allows you to set multiple skills from the same category on your toolbar. It also allows you to move skills wherever you want on the bar. To use Elective Mode go to Options > gameplay > and it’s in the lower right. Click this link for a video. http://www.g4tv.com/videos/58576/diablo-3-top-8-tips-you-need-to-know/

  15. Last night a video of 343i overlord Frank O'Connor chatting about Halo 4 appeared online. Sandwiched in between his words about story, the new Master Chief and the Covenant was some short-but-sweet footage of multiplayer. We've gone through the video and snapped some choice screens of the gameplay, check them out below. Looks like more Halo to us, which we're completely alright with. 16. 343 Industries and Microsoft just dropped a TON of Halo 4 multiplayer details, gamers, so pay close and meticulous attention to the following: Halo Infinity Multiplayer: Halo 4's multiplayer will revolve around the UNSC Infinity, a starship that serves as the center of your Spartan career. Here's where you build and customize your multiplayer character, and "progress your multiplayer career" through all Halo 4 co-op and competitive multiplayer game modes. The idea is to embed the mutliplayer experience into the larger fictional universe of Halo, and to create a system where you "progress and game choices affect your appearance, arsenal and role on the battlefield." Spartan Ops: Think of this as the intersection between Halo 4's campaign mode and multiplayer modes. 343 describes it as "an episodic adventure that blends immersive storytelling, high-quality cinematics, and action-packed gameplay to deliver and unprecedented serialized experience." In a nutshell, weekly episode of a cinematic show about the crew of the Infinity will be watchable through Xbox Live. These will set the scene for the week's Spartan Ops gameplay missions. These missions will be co-op or single-player. This is provided at no charge. War Games: This is what game modes that take place on the Infinity are called in the Halo universe. War Games promise the kind of immersive multiplayer Halo is known for, but will offer "fresh, immersive new game modes and strategies." More specific details on the War Game modes are coming. Perks: For the first time ever, Halo multiplayer will feature useful perks. They're described as "a new loadout and player progression system, and a new armor modification system that introduces gameplay-enhancing customization" While you're in a very Halo mood, Check out the Halo 4 boxart, and some details on an upcoming Halo live action film.
  17. Diablo, The Lord of Terror, is risen from the depths of the Burning Hells to end the world of man and it's up to you to stop him. But you needn't feel alone. We at G4 are here to guide you through the Diablo 3boss fight against the Prime Evil himself, Diablo. Want to know how to kill Diablo in Diablo 3? We'll give you all the necessary tips and tricks to survive the Diablo battle. Diablo Guide: The Story So Far... Everything You Need To Know About Diablo First of all, congratulations on making it this far! You've climbed the steps of the tallest tower in all of existence to reach the Crystal Arch, where Angels are born. This very special place is what remains of the creator Anu, whos body forms the High Heavens. This also makes it a strategic target for the Lord of Terror, and should you fail, its destruction will spell the doom of all things. No pressure. In other words: Good luck! First, let's take a look at Diablo's stats, broken down by difficulty. Normal: Diablo is level 30 on Normal difficulty, with 127,000 health. He grants those who defeat him 925 XP as well as various treasure. He has no special traits or resistances. Nightmare: Diablo is level 50 on Nightmare difficulty, with 2,688,000 health. Quite a jump from the previous difficulty! He grants 3400 XP and various treasure. He has no special traits or resistances. Hell: Diablo is level 60 on Hell difficulty, with 19,304,000 health(!) Putting this monster down will net you 7750 XP and some sweet loot for the hardest difficulty in Diablo 3, Inferno. He has no special traits or resistances. Inferno: Diablo is level 63 on Inferno difficulty, with a whopping 76,499,000 health. At this point you've exceeded every limitation a human being should be capable of, yet you'll still be rewarded with 8000 XP and some ultra fantastic treasure. Even on this, the hardest boss fight of Diablo 3, he still has no special traits or resistances. On all difficulties, the tactics and fight against Diablo remain the same, as do Diablo's abilities and attacks. In addition to standard melee attacks, Diablo can also use: Ground Stomp: This attack radiates damage in all directions, so don't stick close to Diablo for too long. It inflicts one-time damage when it hits. Charge: A basic attack that tramples over anything in its way, Charge will allow Diablo to cover immense distances, taking away any safety you may have felt at range during this fight. More of a nuisance than a real worry, Charge is there mostly to keep you on your toes and be spatially aware. Ring of Fire: And you thought listening to the song stuck in the backseat of your parents' van was torture. This Ring of Fire will deal continuous fire damage as it sets your hero aflame. In later phases and higher difficulties, these can be cast in rapid succession, overlapping one another. Steer clear! Hell Spikes: While the spikes themselves don't do any damage, Diablo's Hell Spikes will encase your character in a cage, trapping him/her there until the demon lord makes his way to them, grabs hold, and slams them into the ground for massive damage, as well as the Curse of Destruction debuff. The ground will turn dark where they are about to appear, so always be on the move. Shadow Vanish Grab: This is technically the grab mentioned above that gives the Curse of Destruction debuff, which deals damage over time to your character and any allies as well. Wham! Shadow Clones: In the second phase of the final battle against Diablo, the setting shifts to the Realm of Terror. Here you'll face plenty of adds, just like the first phase, but every now and again Diablo will summon a shadowy doppelganger of your hero. They have access to the same Passive and Active Skills as your class, even ones you may not have equipped. Overdrive: For the final phase of the Diablo fight in Diablo 3, the Lord of Terror will spam attacks and spells with increased power, speed, and smaller cooldowns thanks to being in Overdrive mode. Lightning Breath: During the final phase, Diablo will also unleash his most devastating attack, Lightning Breath. Diablo will spray this foul attack across the stage in a 180-degree arc, and if you get hit, prepare to pay big time. If you're not protected against non-physical damage in this fight, it can even kill you instantly. So now that you know what the Prime Evil is capable of, how do you protect yourself against such power? Well, since Diablo comes from the Burning Hells and many of his attacks revolve around fire, you'll want to buff up on fire resistance. Diablo's Lightning Breath can be an insta-kill if you're not protected against non-physical damage with Passive Skills or Spell Runes. In other words, don't try to go for a glass cannon-style approach. The best tactics to use in the final fight of Diablo 3 include being patient, avoiding or weathering attacks, and hit-and-run damage dealing. You want to spec for survivability, not badassery against Diablo. In fact, here are some suggested builds for each class to help you survive Diablo's onslaught. Note: each of these builds are for characters who have reached at least level 30. Barbarian: For the best Barbarian Skills against Diablo, equip Pound of Flesh, Bloodthirst, and Superstition in your Passive slots. Pound of Flesh and Bloodthirst will help keep your hit points up, and Supserstition will help you survive should you be hit by an attack. As for Active Skills, go for Sprint, Overpower, Bash, Weapon Throw, Call of the Ancients, and Hammer of the Ancients. Demon Hunter: For the best Demon Hunter Skills against Diablo, use Vengeance, Brooding, and Steady Aim as Passives. Vengeance and Brooding will help you stay alive so long as you avoid Diablo's attacks, and Steady Aim will keep you firing from outside his melee range. For Active Skills, equip Cluster Arrow, Entangling Shot, Impale, Marked for Death, Shadow Power, and Vault. Monk: The best Monk Skills against Diablo will be, as above, those that balance survivability with damage. Go for Chant of Resonance, Exalted Soul, and Transcendence for your Passive Skills. Combining Transcendence and Exalted Soul will turn your Spirit into a practical second health bar, while Chant of Resonance will help keep you from running dry. For best Active Skills, use Mantra of Conviction, Mystic Ally, Serenity, Exploding Palm, Wave of Light, and Way of the Hundred Fists. Witch Doctor: To choose the best Witch Doctor Skills against Diablo, go for Jungle Fortitude, Zombie Handler, and Spiritual Attunement as your Passive selection. Zombie Handler will give you extra ammo against your foes, while Jungle Fortitude will keep you and your dogs alive. Spiritual Attunement meanwhile will keep you from running out of Mana should you need to summon more. For Active Skills, try Summon Zombie Dogs, Firebats, Fetish Army, Spirit Barrage, Sacrifice, and Haunt. Wizard: When selecting the best Wizard Skills against Diablo, you'll need to balance resources, health, and damage dealing. Use Blur, Astral Presence, and Cold Blooded. Blur and Astral Presence will keep you up and fighting, while Cold Blooded is great against Diablo, who can be chilled or frozen. With regards to Active Skills, go for Ray of Frost, Blizzard, Storm Armor, Archon, Teleport, and Spectral Blade. Okay, so now you know your enemy's tactics, his abilities, and what you can do to prepare against him, but what do you actually do during the fight? There are three phases to the fight against Diablo, each more difficult and adrenaline-pumping than the last. For the first phase, Diablo will start off pretty basic. Adds will spawn while Diablo casts Ring of Fire and Hell Spikes. Avoid these as best you can, weaving in and out to make your way to attack range and get a few hits in before retreating. Stick to the edges of the map as best you can, taking a moment to fill up at the health wells on either side. Each of these has a 30-second cooldown, so the waiting line isn't too bad. Just don't abuse them! Once you've knocked Diablo down to 50% health, he will teleport to you and suck you both into the Realm of Terror. This shadow world can be difficult to see through and seem suffocating, but your tactics should remain mostly the same. There are more adds here however, so use AoE attacks or summonable allies to help you deal damage to Diablo while you manage the other enemies. Every time you chip off a third of Diablo's health, he will summon a Shadow Clone of your hero. With the damage these doppelgangers can deal out, it's almost better to focus on them and burn them down quickly than fighting Diablo himself. No worries, they go down pretty quick. Diablo 3 Guide: Top 10 Things You Need To Know About The Auction House Finally, once you've defeated Diablo's shadow in the Realm of Terror, you'll return to the Crystal Arch. Now fully energized and ready to stomp you into dust, Diablo will go into Overdrive, increasing his casting capabilities. Your tactics should stay the same, though it will be harder and harder to get a shot in, especially without taking damage yourself. The only new thing to watch out for here is Diablo's Lightning Breath, which sweeps across the field in a slowly turning 180-degree arc. If there is one thing you don't want to get hit by, it's that. Don't get greedy and hang around inside Diablo's melee range too long, keep a careful eye on your health, don't be afraid to prolong the fight by sipping from the health wells or downing potions, and eventually the Prime Evil will topple. It's a slow, painful and risky fight, but he wouldn't be the Lord of Terror if it wasn't, would he? Slay the beast, save the High Heavens, and become a hero! You've just learned how to kill Diablo and complete the final act of Diablo 3! Now let's crack our knuckles, pop open a new energy drink, and do it all over again on the next highest difficulty. Woo!
