I know for those of you who went to or watch halofest over the weekend already know all of the information released about halo c.e.a but for anyone who missed it, the halo c.e. pistol is being brought into matchmaking, I wonder if it will be added to just the classic playlist or to all playlists by just replacing the current magnum with the c.e. pistol. Here is the Link to the video: ( )and if you want to see just the pistol skip to 4:39. What does everyone think about the pistol? Anyone else extremely exicted other than me? It'll be the first time I get to 3 shot peeps on xbox live. Xbox connect in like 04 and 05 was the last time i used the c.e. pistol to 3 shot kids.

I think armor abilities should be turned into pick ups like power drain regenerator and bubble in halo 3 and maybe just keep sprint an ability

im pretty sure any survival mode would be useless because that is what firefight is, they should just add more options to firefight

i think it should be like halo 2 in ranking up (1-50) level wise, but ranking system in symbols like in halo 3 (general, commander, recruit) but have a credit system to unlock armor and other things

all new weapons guys, come on, new game, new weapons. maybe better than the br

i think they should have a new weapon because the chief isn't going to be on earth, new planets or whatever it is should have new weapons.

I think the credit system used for reach would be good to unlock armor and things, the ranking system used for halo 3 would be good to show what ranking you are, ex: commander, general etc. and a number level system (1-50) just like in halo 2 would be a perfect combination. The reason why I say 1-50 from halo 2 instead of halo 3 is because the halo 2's 1-50 system was much more difficult to get to 50, and if you went online (bungie.net)at the time now it'll either be here or somewhere else you could check your experience bar to determine how much more exp you need in order to go up to the next level.

I preordered it on newegg.com and got it for $29.99 so i'm excited I only had to pay that instead of $39.99

But i thought all the games counted not just the best 4?? At least that's what it says when you are done getting a rating for the first time in a season.

Hey everyone I don't know if anyone already posted this, but as of yesterday 8/23/11 and today 8/24/11 newegg.com has been selling halo anniversary preorders for $29.99 instead of $39.99 with a promo code. I don't know when or if it has expired but it says that it will. First you have to create an account on newegg.com and then after you add halo anniversary to the shopping cart you have to add the code: EMCYTZT622 from the add coupon option and then go through the checkout process and it should say $29.99 instead of $39.99, if it doesn't work, sorry it must have expired but when I ordered it yesterday it said the code was good until today.

i don't get how whenever fps games are being compared its always between halo and c.o.d. they aren't the only shooters out there that are good. there are others, just most of you don't play them. Especially old school shooters, half life, counter strike, syphon filter, etc. Halo is great but if any other games can compete, how can it be for sure the best? Even though I personally dislike c.o.d. halo reach has less players online at any given time than c.o.d.

But wouldn't it be cool if they made a standalone game like odst for Kurt051 he was a spartan like John117 but supposedly his team would win against the chief's in training because kurt has a "sixth sense." i think it would be cool, he was a super soldier just like john.

I know quitting affects arena so badly, that's why I hate doing it, but whats worse getting a 600 rating or quitting cause honestly taking a quit which shows the rating at 1000 or getting a 600 and ruining your K/D doesn't seem like much of a choice. It's so dumb either way because its a lose lose situation.

all of you that bought the new xbox 360s just to play halo reach should have gotten the reach 360 its 250gigs and brought two controllers along with the game and a code for halo legends

i started a thread about the question i am about to ask, but honestly i want to know. What are we supposed to do when everyone on your team quits prior to the game even starting? If you say stay in the game, how is that fair or fun? This has happened to me multiple times, i want to know what to do because that is the only time when i quit and it has gotten me banned because I don't know what else to do, I don't enjoy getting beat 50 to 7 going negative 29 and geting a rating of 631 in arena every time this happens. I honestly want to know what should I do? This is the only time where I think you should not be penalized for quitting, because everyone else quit first. I don't think you should be penalized in situations like this.

I think the 3000cr is fine, that way everyone who is a low rank can stop complaining and become a high rank by completing challenges. Weekly challenges should be 20,000 credits instead of 12,000 and should be just as hard as the weekly challenge now such as the 150 waves or whatever.

Killionaire in Grifball, killionaire in firefight/campaign, killpocalypse in team slayer, overkill in team arena. Best sprees, unfriggenbelievable in invasion, inconcievable in objective, invincible in team slayer, rampage in arena. Also my best team slayer game ever: 26-10-0 untouchable, sidekick, perfection.

I already said this in another post but i decided that it should have its own thread. Before I say anything to complain about reach, I love the game and pretty much only play this for the xbox 360. But the big problem with the game is the amount of quitters in any game type, even arena no matter what I do. I think players who quit out of games should permanently be banned after quitting out of a certain amount of games, especially in arena. They should also put friendly fire on so people can't betray. That happens so much when teammates don't get to a power weapon before I do. I find it ridiculous that people either quit before the game starts or quit if the game starts 4 to 0. By far though, the worst part is that if everyone on your team quits and you stay, you either get r*ped by the other team and your rating ends up in the 600s or 700s, or you quit and then get banned for 10 minutes even though it wasn't your fault that you had to quit because you don't want to stay in the game and go negative 35 giving 2 people perfections. This once happened to me 3 games in a row. One person would quit before the map loaded and by the time the game starts everyone else but me quit. That is the biggest reason why i hate reach. Halo 2 and 3 had its quitters but not nearly as bad. I think instead of being banned for 10 minutes you should get all of the credits you were supposed to get in that game taken away from you. Also if the game is a 4 v 1, the game should reset back to 0 to 0 every time some one quits and the team that has 4 on it should have timed/alternating spawns that way it would be a 1v1 instead of 4v1 making it fair because it honestly isn't fair when everyone on your team quits and you don't want to but have no choice. Does this happen to anyone else? If so? What are your opinions on the matter?

it would be cool if we got symbols along with the ranks just like in halo

guardian was terrible, it was a lame version of lockout. lockout would be better than guardian.

If they were to remake a map for each game, for halo c.e. boarding action, rat race, or chiron, for halo 2 midship, lockout, or colossus, for halo 3 Construct, Narrows, or the Pit.

I don't know if anyone else already said this but how bout a new gun that shoots a two round burst? The dmr shoots one and the br shoots 3, how about a new gun to a new game?

I'm just wondering if anyone thinks or knows if halo 3 is going to be taken off xbox live once halo 4 comes out? They got rid of halo 2 for reach, does anyone think they will do the same for halo 4? Halo 3 still has a big community of players, I went on last night and over 100,000 players were still on it.

I know that it is way too early to even start thinking about what will happen after the new trilogy comes out, but has anyone given it any thoughts? Do you think they will be done with halo? Will Master chief die? Will there be a the rise of another spartan? I'm just looking for thoughts because even though they are just games, it will be sad when/if they retire Master Chief and/or the halo series.
