at the start of a dominion game I beat a guy with ordinance mastery to the rocket launcher initial spawn...he betrayed me for it, I got a boot option, I did, and my RL friend who watched all this and was giggling at that point proceeded to pick it up and skip off to the slaughter. it's there, but apparently screwy as hell

and with that my last reason to ever play halo 4 again hath evaporated
-
it was far from my first, been there since the veeeeeery beginning, but Reach is my favorite for multiplayer experience of the lot. Halo 2 wins for campaign play
-
my one non-grifball killionaire was in a zombies game...also nearly got a killtacular once AS a zombie...good times...and in my fileshare
-
I AM pretty durn happy with what we got and have been getting 343 just made the decission to fix a lot of things that weren't broken.
-
I rather enjoyed both iterations of Reach's multiteam. That and invasion were what I LIVED in. I think of it not as a nerf, I think of it as finally myself and my two best buds can play MT and not have to kill each other in turns
-
Reach animations > H4 animations that is all

I want it back so very badly...I lived in invasion for the most part and thought it was a blast. Dominion is kind of working as a replacement, but as far as I'm concerned it's a pale shadow
-
Invasion, being an elite in general, the needle rifle, multi team, grifball, the armor...am I missing anything?... what I'd miss by leaving Halo 4: ordinance, the SAW, binary rifle, BR back hmm...maybe I should go back to stay...

Kingdoms of Amalur? fell off the map quick but I love it dearly... Fable art style Skyrim-ish gameplay WoW-esque talent trees Fallout skillup system it's the ******* child of most of the popular titles out there, and personally I think it works

you were talking about the MIRV, and my guess is Fallout 4 will probably use various types of ammo That said, yes, the GRA fat man uses one nuke but a tiny tots nuke is essentially a hive missile mini nuke you fire one projectile that splits into about a dozen that's more than 8 plus, there's only about 30 mini nukes in all of fallout 3...not many shots available to you that way

Halo 4: What is the EASIEST way to achieve Assisant Mastery?
Eireannach replied to burger_distraction's topic in Halo 4
use an automatic weapon...whenever I do in a game (in oddball in particular) I'll come out with as many assists as kills or even more. I'm talking 12 kills 16 assists in one game, 20 kills 16 assists in one game...etc. Frag grenades are also reccomended -
GRA fat man with tiny tots ammo in New Vegas. Unless you're on hardcore, followers won't die

depends on the map really, but I do agree for both teams blue has the color edge on anything that is entirely a construct; inside buildings, haven, etc. conversely, the most common colorblindness is red/green, and I suffer from it, meaning a read guy on grass ig going to be harder for me to pick out (a good portion of the male population has this kind of color blindness) so I do agree, but they both have their places: blue indoors and red on anything that lets them be outside on grass or sand

for me it's not the wait, but I hate the kill cam that much. I will always hit respawn instantly to avoid the damn cam unless I need to switch loadouts and even then I'll do it as quickly as I can If kill cam were to become a toggle menu thing or say...disappeared entirely, I'd love a small break from a hellish firefight every now and again

I bought the limited and got a code in the box AND was sent a code by LIVE which I gave to my best friend

are we looking at the same stuff? the parts that are supposed to be armor-armor look like the spartans are wearing kid sizes...Personally, I like a tank=ish looking spartan; heavy, full coverage on the left side and as little as possible on the right. I can't do that in Halo 4. At All. I'm either leaving my spartan's elbow or my spartan's shoulder exposed regardless of my choice all of 4's armor is itty bitty and I don't think that's allright Yes I know it's cosmetic, but it's a personal thing, and it really really bugs me. My Reach spartan is perfect as far as I'm concerned. Perfect.

sprint every where was a wonderful addition spartan ops is truly beautiful; I lived in Invasion in Reach, and this is invasion and firefight's illegitemate child and I love it
-
in some modes when you hit X to turn it off you instantly respawn, making it rather hard to change your loadout if you feel you need to but yes, a thousand times yes kill the kill cam
-
hear hear SMG - make it a secondary weapon choice; an automatic option for a sidearm I use firepower when I don't have operator or fast track for that reason, a DMR with an AR secondary is something I do really, really well with, and I'd have so many more options with a pea shooter in that slot
-
I agree with all but that...the instances of people running at me UNLOADING a pistol and hitting nothing are very numerous As for grenades, i agree with Tiffany. Miserable, miserable times would be had by myself and those I play with if that returned, especially withhow easy it is to hear people coming if you sit still; that clompclompclompclomp is thunderous

The generator defense with the mantis is stupid easy and among my favorite chapters....I mean the very, very first mission of episode 5, where you get bumrushed by prometheans for the duration while having to keep two objects up and running. As for Hacksaw, I got my two best mates and we three manned it on heroic and only got one marine out alive, but that's all we needed. I also thank those that knew what mission i was talking about and answered; I'll get my mates again here soon and we'll tear it up on heroic for good measure

Combine the best of Halo Reach and Halo 4 = perfect game
Eireannach replied to wookieeassassin's topic in Halo 4
yes armor a thousand times yes. I HATE the armor in Halo 4. I like a tank-ish looking spartan: the left side, the side facing the opposition when holding a gun, is covered in armor. I used Jorge's chest piece, I think it was Scout shoulder (that great big thing with the white arrow on it) the armor cuff and the extra plate on the leg. The right was something small that looked like it allowed free movement. I loved that. So much. The armor options were vast and varied. In Halo 4 the options are vast and only the helmets are varied. But even those are still unattractive. The armor abilities I used in Reach were in this order from most to least (sprint redacted, but it'd be a rather close second) evade active camo armor lock bubble shield jetpack hologram (this one never once saw use by me) What I use in Halo 4: active camo promethean vision jetpack (no others see service) I'd love to see an en masse return. As to maps, I loved Reach's maps with very, very few exceptions. In Halo 4, I like Adrift, Exile, and Longbow with an honorable mention for Haven and Complex. The others can go away, especially Abandon and to a lesser degree Solace. I cannae wait for remake map packs, or plain old good map packs, but as it sits I only willingly play a handful of maps, and it's killing my desire to keep playing. In short; hear hear! A combination of Reach and Halo 4 would be a perfect halo MP experience to my eye, and I have played each. and every. installment so far. The crossovers I'd like to see: Reach-esque customisation Spartan Ops wins Reach-esque jetpack, thruster pack becoming evade or performing like in flood always-there sprint is incredible the loadouts also win Reach-esque deaths (bye-bye, kill cam!!) I'd like to see some old sound files return too...warthog and ghost come to mind first; one's muffler fell off and the other needs a new alternator, especially when boosting. Reach banshee, in every regard Honestly, I would probably just be happier with reach with all of these lovely quality of life improvements Halo 4 brought in. This saddens me because until now, I have never felt that way about a game. -
my AR has never beaten a SAW...ever. I've had at least two straight up 1v1 AR vs SAW encounters. When they drop me, their shields will be down and if someone sneezes at them before they can recover, they'll die. But they won. You're doing it wrong. lots to respond to so I'll keep the rest of it simple for now: Some parts I agree with, some parts i do not, as above. 50/50 hit/miss
