I was thinking the objectives that I mentioned could fix that. Like destroy Flood pods with bombs that you have to carry across the map (The maps that im thinking about are huge). Or how about Tentacles, such as the ones near the end of Halo 3. It would hopefully make it less repetitive.

What if you were on a HUGE space station. Stranded. With some buddies. The ship is stuffed with the flood. The only way off is to survive 50 to 100 rounds and complete multiple objectives. wouldn't this be awesome? Make it happen 343! I have high hopes for you.
