  1. Whoa.. that first one had me seriously tripping out.
  2. I'll have to remember this for later.... So.. how is the game, in your honest, blunt opinion?
  3. 'kay, I still don't really know how this applies to Halo 5.. guess I'm rather slow today :/
  4. I see what you did there, Jack. And it wasn't nice.
  5. I love it when games include the melee option to boot. 'cause I mean, what's better than booting/dropkicking a zambie that wants yer berains? Although, the game suffers (in theory) due to first-person parkour. Same issue as Mirror's Edge, but I wouldn't know if it's better or worse, as I haven't actually played it. I was kinda hopin' to see more about the game in this thread :/
  6. Sorry, I don't get it.. what?
  7. Maya? Perl? I have no idea what this means.. I mean, the quoted post I understand (isn't it something about consistency is supposed to be easier on the hardware?), but the rest of this may as well be another language..
  8. That last one looks like he's in some trouble XD I had a bunch of these, they were like little lego's.. But for the life of me, I can't remember where they are.
  9. This reminds me of the days before Halo 3 was released and my cousin wanted to beat Halo 2 on Legendary. The inside joke was born thanks to dramatically reciting, "Master Chief taking steroids to jump higher? I. Don't. Know."
  10. Noted. See this, people? This is an actual reason. THIS. (It may be biased, but hey, it's an actual real reason.) Also, it's another reason I'm okay with not playing with real life people. Kinda gross, I know, but I can only stand try-hard puppies for so long.
  11. By "source," I mean "link plz." 'cause this is seriously new to me.
  12. This is why we love you, Fishy.
  13. This is why we have a quote button, Caboose. Five months. That's hardly "several." Not to mention they're still working on 'the big one.'* "Every aspect;" again, an exaggeration. "Justified," no. "Hilarious to an extent," "whining for the sake of whining," and "altogether pointless," yes. I don't see why everyone has to jump on the hate bandwagon; but then again, I tend to lean on the wall of patience. And when it comes down to it, haven't people learned NOT to buy a game at launch? And since when was a collection of video games across a handful of console generations considered "easy" and "a no-brainer" to throw together onto a single disc? Why wasn't there this much hate when video games started shipping with day-one updates? Hell, half of the content in those updates fix bugs that completely break the game-- not to mention leave others for players to discover and 'cheat' with.** * -- To my knowledge. ** -- Depending on the exploit.
  14. 'kay, this is awesome. This needs more attention. (starts clicking links)
  15. Betrayals are awfully annoying. Aside from post-game betraying (which is why I loved how they'd do the "game over" and you could still move around), which is hilarious in Infection gametypes and the like. However, I've always noticed that when I actually accidentally killed someone, I'd get booted. If I killed someone in revenge/spite, I'd get booted. About one in three chances of me getting betrayed, would I get an actual option to boot them (yay Halo 3 :/).
  16. I started playing Halo back when it was first shipped for PC. Started quite a 'career' of PC gaming. Then again, I've always been playing on whatever console I can get. (Starts remembering the days of Mario Kart '64... my mom would pwn us so hard, she'd twist her ankles.)
  17. "Running Zombies suck." Perfect bumper sticker. For the most part, I've kinda gotten sick of zombies, but not nearly as bad as vampires have gotten on my nerves. (Yeah, I'm still under the belief that the sun burns vamps.) Kinda miss werewolves at this point, come to think of it. (And Underworld on that note) But zombies have been around for a while.. so I guess there's always a niche that they can be included in, so long as it makes sense. Aside form that, though.. yeah, I kind of have to agree. And games with specific zombie game modes... heh.. 'give it a rest.'
  18. Man, I'm really loving all the hate posts :/ Some people have patience, others don't; that's all I've got to say about it. Kinda sad how people can call themselves a fan and all they want is for the next Halo game to be Halo 2.
  19. Honestly, my only issue with multiplayer is that everyone votes for Halo 2, almost without fail. I rarely play any other games on that sodding disc just 'cause everyone, for some ungodly reason, loves Halo 2 so hard that I've lost any tolerance I've had for it. Aside from that, I haven't really felt the need to play it; the multiplayer gets waaaayy too dry (for the reason listed above) and the Campaigns are.. well, I've already beaten them all, what's the point of doing it again? I love Halo, but I don't really care for boosting my statistics for the campaign nonsense 'cause all anyone cares about is Halo 2. I haven't had too many issues with the Multiplayer (sure, there's lag here and there, but there's lag in every video game), but then again, I've only really played after the patches that were trying to fix the mess. So, altogether, I find it humorous when I find posts like these and tend to share my blasphemous opinion (Halo 2 is overrated) for kicks and giggles. I mean, these games weren't meant to be on the same disc; it FIGURES that there's issues with it. Maybe I just have better patience than most.
