  1. Why yes, yes I am. The person above me and I have replied to each other in this topic a total of two times each. The person below me will definitely likes to juggle bananas and oranges while singing "Carameldansen".
  2. Why yes, I do like blue cheese. The person above me doesn't like carrots, but accepts them anyway. (I wonder what she does with them...) The person below me is coo coo for Cocoa Puffs.
  3. Just as The Director said, we're friendly. I welcome you to 343industries.org and hope you enjoy your time spent here~ If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to message anyone on the board. I'm sure that we're all willing to help each other out. EDIT: The Directory? What was I thinking? O.o
  4. Welcome to 343industries.org~! Grab a drink and pull up a seat. We're a friendly little community, so please don't be afraid to speak your thoughts and get to know everyone. If you need any help with anything, please feel free to message myself or any other members of the board.
  5. I'm totally not evil. I'm just misunderstood. The person above me is one of my friends. The person below me doesn't like carrots.
  6. They've updated quite a few playlists with the title update as well. They haven't simply just added another playlist. Please check the January update in the Halo: Reach section of the board for more details if you wish.
  7. The TU has not been applied to every playlist. You still have to pace your shots with the DMR, Needle Rifle, and Magnum, so I don't know where you got the idea that it's simply point and shoot now. The TU includes 85% bloom, not 0%. The game still requires quite a bit of skill, even with the lessened bloom. The thing you don't realise is that the normal setting for bloom also provided a larger area to hit when spammed. With the 85%, that area has been reduced, and the chances of scoring a lucky headshot have been reduced as well. Are you seriously going to try to tell me the gameplay has been "seriously altered"? In what ways has it been? It still plays the exact same as vanilla Reach, apart from a few minor changes to armour lock and active camo. I still have to pace my shots if I want to maintain accuracy and kill quickly and efficiently. I am still punished for spamming my shots, just like in vanilla Reach. Please let me know how the gameplay has been COMPLETELY altered. You will still be punished for spamming at longer ranges. Unless you pace and/or zoom in your target, expect plenty of misses. Being more about who got the first shot is also lie. I've beaten people with the TU settings in DMR duels who have started to fire on me before I did them, simply because I've learned to do things like strafe, jump, and pace my shots properly. They still try to spam at me, and this results in them losing more often than not. Again, the game still plays like Reach before the title update, apart from the very few changes that 343i implemented. THEY DID NOT COMPLETELY ALTER THE GAMEPLAY!!! They made a few minor changes that the community asked for, that's it. They reduced the bloom of precision weapons, making them more reliable while still rewarding those who pace and punishing those who spam. If anything, it now rewards pacers more often. PS. It's not about hiding and getting clean up kills. If you stick to just doing that rather than going out and getting your own kills, prepare to lose quite a bit.
  8. Without bloom the game is more about who gets the first shot. Having no bloom means that you no longer have to pace or time your shots. You can fire as fast as you want with little to no consequence. With bloom you are punished for spamming by having longer kill times and less accuracy. I guarantee that if you pace properly at the appropriate distances, you'll beat a spammer if time your shots properly. Have you tried spamming at long or medium ranges? It's more difficult to kill someone, and takes longer than it should if you pace at the correct time. Yes, bloom does give a chance to hit your target when you might need to miss, but it also gives a chance to completely miss. It evens out. Like Twinreaper has said before me, having to deal with spread and learning to pace properly takes more skill than simply being able to aim and fire as fast as you want. I don't know where you got the idea that strafing doesn't come into play with bloom. Strafing is a valuable technique regardless of having bloom or no bloom. You still have to aim with bloom, so it's not simply fire in the general direction. Your shots will only go within the crosshairs, not outside of it.
  9. It's a real shame to see you go. I hope that you and your family stay safe, do well in all that you do, and have great lives. I really hope you'll return soon, because I know that I and a lot of others will miss you. -huggles- BwiBwi. - Ms. Mystic

  11. I personally am excited to see what 343i does with Halo, as well as what Bungie's next game will be. I really couldn't decide between the two. As for who will do a better job...I'm not sure. They'll be working on different projects, so I think it's kind of hard to say.
  12. I think a change of gamertag might be a good thing. How about something silly/simple like Funky Flower?
  13. What was honestly wrong with Blackout in Halo 3? I didn't find anything wrong with it. I personally enjoy the maps that have been released for Reach. They may not be as memorable as previous maps to some, but I don't think they're terrible by any means. The DLC maps they've released have also been nice. My favourites would be the Anniversary map pack, or the Defiant map pack. The Noble map pack was alright in my eyes.
  14. Welcome to the site. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message a moderator like Absolute Dog or Spectral Jester. I and I'm and sure the other members the the forum are also willing to help.
  15. I sometimes bite my nails and sniffle with my nose.
  16. Pop-tart. Toaster strudels are too soft and flakey. Besides, you can eat pop-tart hot or cold. =D
  17. It depends on the magnum. If it is the Halo: Combat Evolved or Halo: Reach magnum, yes. Otherwise I'll choose the plasma rifle. SMG or Spiker?
  18. It is no doubt a fraud. Do not take that survey, and do not believe whatever that site claims.
  19. I don't see anything wrong with them, and I'd gladly welcome them in Halo 4. They're a neat little feature, and I enjoy pulling them off. I do NOT think that you should be allowed to cancel them, however. If you want to assassinate someone, you should be aware of your surroundings beforehand.

  21. My favourite type of kittens are the cute ones...oh wait. In all seriousness though, I think my favourite type would be Scottish Folds.
  22. Why do you hope it's not? Using an engine doesn't mean using the same weapons, gameplay features, etc. If they did use the Reach engine, it doesn't mean Halo 4 would have the same kind of gameplay as Reach.
  23. I'm pretty sure they've said that if/when there is a beta, it won't be included with Anniversary.
  24. Don't get me wrong. I didn't really have a problem with it before the TU either, but the changes they did make don't bother me all too much since I hardly even use armour lock.
  25. It was meant to be used against explosions, sure. Plasma grenade shedding, in my eyes, made them almost useless. I personally enjoy the modifications made to armour lock, but I do believe these changes would have some issues in something like Invasion.
