  1. This is a late reply, but I don't care! Welcome to the site, even though you've been a member for a while!
  2. I would post a particular dream (more like nightmare) of mine that I remember, but it's far too disturbing.
  3. If you want to play with zero bloom, there is already a playlist in the "TU Beta" section. That's where you'll find ZB Slayer. The January update will use the regular title update settings, which includes 85% bloom.
  4. I don't know how it is compared to the program you use, but I use "Livestream Procaster". http://www.livestream.com There are, to me, plenty of options to customise your stream, so you could try giving it a shot.
  5. This is not correct. If you go to the Anniversary playlist and choose "Anniversary Classic" (or whatever the gametype is called), you can then save the classic variants after playing on them. Just look in your temporary history after the match is over to find them. I hope this helps!
  6. I actually watched it and the time in the bottom right. The timer was moving at a normal rate. The second video on the page (which is the one I'm assuming you're also talking about) has not been sped up.
  7. I could never get past him. I'm sure it's possible, because I think my cousin has done it at least once. I really miss that one game that has you playing as a mouse trying to imprison cats in blocks. That game was awesome.
  8. You tried to post your opinion as fact. People had a problem with that and called you out on it. They countered your points (rather well in my opinion), though I agree with Absolute that there wasn't too much need to go insulting you for your opinion.
  9. Halo: Combat Evolved got it because it was the first game in the series, and its ten year anniversary was coming up. It was the start of a franchise that would soon become (arguably) one of the most popular FPS franchises of the decade. Also, a remastering of Halo 2 might take away from the budget of Halo 5 and 6, and I personally wouldn't like that.
  10. I hope you enjoy your break and that you feel better! We'll all be waiting for you to return.
  11. I'm not sure if I'll be available tomorrow, but feel free to invite me if I'm online!
  12. I really hope that, for everyone experiencing this issue, this is fixed soon. It's a shame to not be able to play two great games such as these online. I offer my support to those experiencing this issue.
  13. Bloom(what you're probably calling the bullet spread) has been in every Halo title since Halo: Combat Evolved, just putting that out there. The expanding reticule does not control how the weapon functions, and its only purpose is to show the player the area in which their shot will land due to spread. That's all. The bullet spread will only screw you out of a kill if you don't properly time your shots, so don't spam. Also, I'd like to know why you think it is a bad mechanic. It keeps people from being able to just mindlessly pull the trigger and hope for a kill. It requires the player to learn to pace to maintain a more accurate shot. Yes it may add a chance for someone to hit when they shouldn't, but at the same time it adds a chance for them to miss if they don't control their firing well enough. Without the spread, everyone can just pull the trigger and not have to worry about properly timing their shots. With bloom you have to control your shots AND keep a good aim if you want a clean kill and to conserve ammo. You only have to keep good aim without it. I personally like that people can't just fire away without worry and hope to get a kill. I like that you need to learn to control your firing in order to keep the most accurate shot possible. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy playing without bloom, I just don't enjoy it as much as I do with it.
  14. Nope. I find eating anything after it's touched the floor or ground to be disgusting.
  15. I've only played the very first, but I've heard that the series really improved after it. From the gameplay I've seen of the different titles after the first Assassin's Creed, it seems that is true. When I first heard about them adding in multiplayer, I think I was wondering about how exactly they'd pull that off. It just seemed strange for a series like AC. They did manage to pull it off however, because the multiplayer looks pretty entertaining.
  16. Actually, Microsoft owns Halo and has for quite a while. 343 Industries only develops the new Halo titles.
  17. I seriously doubt you're actually from Bungie or 343 Industries, but welcome to the forum anyway~!
  18. Care to explain how the DMR takes little skill? At least you can't just spam it like the BR and hope to get a kill as effectively as if you paced your shots. I believe the DMR takes more skill than the BR due to having the spread it does and having to pace to effectively get your kill. Spamming the trigger will result in your shots losing accuracy, something that doesn't really happen very much with the BR. Yes you can still get a kill when spamming, but it takes longer and your shots have more of a chance of missing the more and quicker you fire. Pulling the trigger as fast as you can with the BR, I find, doesn't really punish you all that much with a loss of accuracy. There's not very much spread, so your shots won't miss that often. With the DMR, the faster and more you pull the trigger, the more inaccurate your shots become. This makes players learn to slow down and pace their shots if they want to maintain a good amount of accuracy and require less shots to kill the other player. I also don't believe the maps promote DMR spraying and camping all that much, but it's just my opinion.
  19. Funny or not, it happened. There's no need to argue about this any further. This is a forum about Halo: Reach, not Halo 2. I've already given my thoughts about this topic, so I don't feel like I need to post in the thread any longer.
  20. I'll gladly join if I can make it. -signs up- If I don't manage to make it, I'm terribly sorry. :c
  21. We don't need it back. We need new weapons, new features, new mechanics, etc. I never saw what was so great about the Battle Rifle. To me, it was and is just a point and shoot weapon. I don't find it very difficult to use. In fact, I find it to be one of the simplest weapons in the entire series to use. I don't have to worry about climb, nor do I really have to worry that much about bullet spread or pacing my shots. It's all just opinion, though. I'd rather see a new precision weapon or two in Halo 4, rather than the BR making a return.
  22. I personally think it's the worst in the series, but it's still a good game.
  23. You do know that even Bungie stated that things like the BXR, etc. are considered cheating in a "Did you know" message on the last few days/hours of Halo 2, right? You may not consider it cheating, but I do. (And apparently Bungie as well)
  24. Twinreaper and others haven't posted in this to make themselves look good, nor have I. They posted in here to try to make you see just how flawed and silly they believe your opinion is, and to make you realize that pretty much nothing you've tried to pass off as fact is such. I personally think they've done a pretty good job at countering all that you've said. Also, what is it exactly that you want 343i to take notice to? Your opinion? That's all you've offered with this thread.
