  1. Yes, you can both play together. The CEA disk does not come with any maps except for the ones included in the Anniversary map pack, so you're both limited to just those when one of you is using the CEA disk.
  2. The site wasmessed up earlier due to someone tampering with it. Everything seems to be fine now, and the user that may have caused it to mess up has been banned.
  3. Pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie.
  4. I do have an open mind. It is you who cannot get the nostalgia out of your eyes and accept something new. What exactly is happening, hm? Please explain to me how I'm being blind. Am I blind simply because I disagree with you? Grow up and learn that people have different opinions. Just because I don't agree with you does not mean I'm blind to anything, it just means that I don't agree with what you believe. I'm not going to continue to argue with you, as you can't seem to accept any opinions that disagree with what you believe. You've got to state your opinion as fact, and then accuse people who don't agree with you as being blind and close minded.
  5. Which figures, exactly? Do you fail to realize that Halo 2 was successful in part because there wasn't much to compete with it on Xbox Live? Plenty of different games have come out since Halo 2 and Halo 3 launched. There have been plenty of online multiplayer games that people have flocked to instead of Halo, simply because they want something else to play, don't care for Halo anymore, or for other reasons. People have social lives as well, so they're not going to spend every minute of their free time just playing some Halo. There are a lot of very good games that have been released, and people are going to choose to play those instead of just one particular game over and over again. It may or may not come as a surprise to you, but there ARE people who didn't like Halo 2 or didn't think it was great. I'm one of those people. It is a good game, but I would much rather play any other game in the series than it. I don't have to really worry that much about someone using as many cheap glitches in those games to get a kill they might not deserve, so I'm always going to prefer them to Halo 2. Unlike some people, I think the button combos/glitches actually ruined the experience of Halo 2. It's fun, but I enjoy it most when no one is using something like BXR or double shooting to gain an upper hand, and is instead relying solely on what Bungie intended the player to do/use.
  6. I beg to differ. Also, I'll accept your apology so long as something like what has happened in this thread doesn't happen again.
  7. Nice attempt at an insult. (Not really) Don't talk. Oh, but would you like to explain what's wrong with my avatar? I happen to think it's pretty cute.
  8. So you want them to remove something that's been in every Halo game since the first? You want to make the game easier to be good at for less skilled players?
  9. It might be legitimate, but it ruins matches when people do cheap things like this to get an undeserved win.
  10. It's pretty fun. Plays a lot different than Halo, which is a good thing. I needed something else to play when not in the mood for Halo, and this seems like it'll do me just fine.
  11. This isn't 343's website. This is a fan site.
  12. They only took it out in the zero bloom playlist. Bloom is still in every other part of the game. Bloom has always been in Halo, so I doubt they'll remove it for Halo 4.
  13. You apparently didn't know that since you asked how it was related to Halo: Reach. =/ The point of this thread is for people to find out why they were banned in Halo: Reach. So yea, it does make sense. What would be a better place for a thread for Halo: Reach bans than the Halo: Reach section?
  14. Happy Holi...yea, no. Forget that. Merry X - Mas, everyone~!
  15. Except AAs aren't anything like killstreaks. You don't earn them when you obtain kills. You get a set of armour abilities to choose from when you respawn, and that's all you get during the game. You don't unlock more by getting more kills or going on killing sprees. Sprint has been in other FPSs before and besides COD. Remember how you could hold down the shift key in DOOM, Marathon, etc. and run faster? That's basically sprinting, except you could use it as much as you wanted to. Having sprint doesn't make something more like Call of Duty, nor are armour abilities like perks or killstreaks.
  16. Halo: Reach does not play like or even resemble anything close to COD.
  17. Except that not everyone might be able to perform them, know about them, or wish to use them. The button glitches in Halo 2 were cheap and gave players an unfair advantage over those who didn't know about them, couldn't perform them, or who played the game the way it was meant to be played. I consider every single one of those button combinations cheap and cheating.
  18. They also shouldn't remake it because it's only four years old and is on the Xbox 360. Again, there isn't any need to remake it. Halo 2 I could kind of see getting a remake, but not Halo 3.
  19. There is absolutely no need for Halo 3 to have a remake.
  20. Except that it kind of is cheating. Take the button glitches in Halo 2. Those may be fun, and may take some practise, but they're cheating regardless.
  21. I have to admit, not picking up a game simply because it doesn't include a weapon you like is pretty stupid.
  22. No. The teddy bears wearing the helmet is not proof that the helmet is in the game. There's no way for us to put that "texture" (which is actually a model AND textures) onto our Spartans.
  23. How about you just go play Halo 3? Halo 4 should have new weapons, new features, etc. It should also use an improved ranking system that beats those of previous Halo titles.
