  1. Halo 2, to me, is just a good game. I personally don't see it as anything great, but I do enjoy playing it from time to time. The things that, to me, keep it from being great are the amount of glitches, lack of polish, and the boring level design. I voted for the second option on the poll.
  2. I'm giving this a bump so that more members of the community might take notice.
  3. There were first person shooters well before Bungie (and Halo) came into the picture. I don't know what you're talking about when you say the FPS wouldn't exist if it wasn't for them. There are plenty of shooters created by different companies before Bungie. Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM by id software are two very good examples. Bungie did not create the FPS. I like how you claim a LOT would be different in the gaming world without Bungie, then give no examples as to what might be different. If you're going to claim something like that, at least tell us what might be different. Some people might be interested.
  4. Well there are six or seven maps. That's why it's so big.
  5. Not me. It got me snoring. =/ It's got to be one of the most average/boring campaigns in any video game that I've played.
  6. For some reason, my main SP world decided to just vanish. BwiBwi +200 torches, sticks, and iron ingots. ; _ ;
  7. And you heard this...where? Where did they state it was going to be using a modified Reach engine? If you're going to claim something like this, provide something for us to read/watch so that we have some proof.
  8. Oh really? Would you mind linking us to an article or video where we can read/hear this for ourselves?
  9. Being able to turn bloom on and off was a rumour. The Reach magnum in the Anniversary Classic playlist has had its damage (and perhaps rate of fire) tweaked to resemble the Halo: CE magnum. You can also hold the trigger down like you could in the original CE. No, 343 NEVER said that it would come with options to turn things like bloom off. If you want to play with the "CE Magnum", play some Anniversary Classic, then save the gametype after you've finished the match.
  10. So have I, and everything in the Xbox Anniversary Store costs a set amount of MSP. There are six items, each of which cost MSP. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but there is no option for obtaining a free prop for me.
  11. Then why did you feel the need to quote it and reply to it? Simply ignore it if it bothers you so much.
  12. All I did is was go to that section and look around. I don't know if I missed anything, but I'll have another look.
  13. Nothing in that section is free. I checked. I did what Spectral said, but found nothing to be free.
  14. Free? All of these things cost MSP. I don't see how they're free.
  15. "No one wants Reach attributes..." That is false. There are plenty of people who enjoy the different aspects of Reach multiplayer. Saying that no one wants them is downright foolish. I personally want a mixture of the classic gameplay and Reach's gameplay.
  16. This. If you don't like the messages popping up (regardless of when), stop quitting games. It's that simple.
  17. Like I said, not upcoming in Reach. If any of this is true, the helmet has already been in the game. I was stating that it wouldn't be upcoming in Reach, meaning it won't be added, nor has it been added. If you're going to point to this topic, it means that the helmet was already in the game since its release. From what I have heard, it would require people to redownload every single map if they were to add in ANY new armour, which could take up gigabytes on a person's hard drive. So it's possible, but not really feasible. EDIT: All that the OP said in that topic is purely just rumour/speculation.
  18. Upcoming in a new game, maybe. Not in Reach.
  19. They should not remove the bullet spread, because the CE pistol had bullet spread. Removing it, in a sense, makes it less like the original magnum. The "bloom" that you're referring to is bullet spread, and it helps to kind of balance out the weapon being overpowered.
  20. It's not bullcrap. They said that they were going to modify the firing rate and damage to replicate the Halo 1 magnum. There is no magnum hidden on the maps. It's the Reach magnum with the damage modified to replicate the power of the original Halo: CE magnum, and the firing rate may or may not have been changed as well. You can also fire it by holding down the trigger, just like the CE magnum.
  21. Kill him. No, seriously.
  22. The only negatives I have are these: Very laggy Co-Op Sudden audio cutouts Music becoming too quiet during a cutscene/certain area of the game, when it was much louder and intense in the original. (The cutscene where you escape the Autumn and are about to land on Halo is a fine example) A little bit of texture pop-in here and there. (Not too big a deal, though) The original atmosphere of certain levels being completely destroyed by too much lighting. I'd give the single player/split-screen campaign a 4/5, but I'd give the overall thing a 3.5/5, considering Co-Op over XBL is kind of broken (due to the terrible lag), and it was being one of the "big" things they were touting. Being able to view terminals from the main menu is a nice addition, and I'm sure The Library is also pretty nice for Kinect users. I don't care about the multiplayer side, considering they give you a map pack code in the box. It's nice that they allow you to play the Anniversary playlists from the disc, but this isn't something too special to me (since I already have Halo: Reach).
