343 Industries Community Teamspeak Grand Opening!!!!
CandiBunni replied to Twinreaper's topic in Announcements
Oh he did, did he? =P Reapa'....You've got some explainin' to doooo. Come on people, let's get this thing nice and active. It'd be great to have a way (other than the shoutbox) to communicate with each other at once. -
The game will play exactly how the original Halo: Combat Evolved plays. Everything that happened or that you could do in the original, you can do in CEA. I hope this answers your questions.
-
Halo: Reach is my favourite of the series. I really enjoy the small changes that they made to the game, the music, visuals, gameplay, campaign, multiplayer, etc. My second favourite would be either Halo: Combat Evolved (or Anniversary), or Halo 3: ODST.
-
ODST is indeed an awesome game, but the graphics are pretty much the same as in Halo 3 (which weren't even that great for their time). The only reason that they look perhaps a bit better is because of the lighting. I've still not beaten the game yet, but I'm loving what I've played so far. The atmosphere, music, and night time levels are pretty darn good, I believe. I was able to pick up a copy of ODST for about 17$ or 18$ a few months back, and I'm glad that I did.

Haven't bothered to play it? You should go play it for yourself, rather than rely on the word of others. You won't know if you like it until you've tried it.

Totally agree with you.

By hiding and being cheap?

I think they'll be updating all of the playlists the day that CEA releases.

Do you remember when Halo CE first found you?
CandiBunni replied to Absolute Dog's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
Looking at that Xbox trailer really brings back memories of playing co-op with my cousin. I also remember being near his computer while he browsed the web. He had plugged in a screen kind of device that allowed me to play the game while near his PC. I can't wait to pick up CEA, it's going to be a blast.- 50 replies

Armor Abilitys. Like them? Hate them? LETS FIND OUT!
CandiBunni replied to Dominator's topic in Halo 4
You're trolling, your opinion is not fact. Excuse the double post. -

CandiBunni replied to Dominator's topic in Halo 4
So instead of changing Halo to keep it fresh, we should let it remain the same and become stale like Call of Duty has for a lot of people? -
I don't know what you're talking about, but Reach is Halo. What you call "bloom" has been in every Halo title since Halo: CE.
-
I've never hated on every single other Halo game, yet constantly praised Reach. Give me even one example of where I've done this. I hate on Halo 2 like I do because to me, it's the worst in the series. (Still a good game) It's all personal opinion, and there is no true "best" Halo game. I prefer Reach, Combat Evolved, and 3 (in that order) to Halo 2, and there's nothing wrong with that. No, my Halo career started with Combat Evolved. I was young when I first played it over at my cousin's house, and I even remember using a screen attachment for the Xbox to play it near his old PC.
-
Zero Bloom is growing on me. I'm liking it more than I thought I would.

If you want to find out where the invisible player is, look at where the red dots are most gathered. If they all are close to a certain area of your radar, the person is in that general direction. It's pretty simple. It may mess up YOUR radar, but it messes up the radar of every single player near the invisible player as well. They'll have trouble knowing where you are if you play right. The same applies for you. They can use it to their advantage, but so can you.

Can someone reccomend some games please?
CandiBunni replied to CHRISTPUNCHER18's topic in General Discussion
Well it all depends on what you're into. I'd recommend the following (assuming you don't already have any that I'm about to list): Borderlands: GOTY Edition Condemned: Criminal Origins Condemned 2: Bloodshot Darksiders DOOM (On the Xbox Live Arcade) DOOM II (On the Xbox Live Arcade) F.E.A.R F.E.A.R 2 F.E.A.R 3 Gears of War Gears of War 2 Gears of War 3 Left 4 Dead Left 4 Dead 2 Marathon: Durandal (On the Xbox Live Arcade) Mass Effect Mass Effect 2 Mortal Kombat Portal 2 Soul Calibur 4 Splatterhouse Super Meat Boy (On the Xbox Live Arcade) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (GOTY Edition) The Orange Box That's all I can think of right now, sorry. ^^; -
My favourite colour is a light pink.

My gamertag is Serene Mystic, feel free to add me. If you do add me, be sure to tell me who you are from this message board. I love playing customs with people, and I also like to just goof around in Forge as well. I look forward to playing with some of you (assuming any of you would like to play).

If you die because of the jetpacker, it's your own fault. If you're a good enough player and use proper teamwork, you can keep map control just fine. How in the world could you lose your set up because of an armour locker or a lone active-camo user? If you can lose your setup because of just one person using those, then its not the fault of anyone or anything but your own. How? For not being a good enough player to counter them, that's how. You can control a map, you just need to use proper teamwork and skill to counter whatever abilities the opponents might be using. If they take over your position, its because they outplayed you. Deal with it. If you are a good enough player, you should be able to defend whatever area you are holding. I know, I've done so. What map? Reflection. My team continued to hold the top area just fine, even when one or two of us died. We were able to gain control, and hold it until the final kill was scored by our team. I don't wish to argue about this any longer, so lets both agree to just end the argument here and now.

I'm not close minded, I just don't take things like "it's gay" or "they suck" as valid points. I also wish for people to explain to me WHY they think what they do. You never told me how Reach was like COD, or how AAs were like perks. I asked you to explain how Reach is like COD (which it's not), and how AAs were like perks. I also asked you to explain how the jetpack or any of the other abilities break the maps. You never explained any of that to me. I have no problem with someone disliking armour abilties or Reach, but I do have a problem with people stating their opinions, then not explaining in detail why they think the way they do.

Why are the marines wearing army gear and armor?
CandiBunni replied to shawnk9512's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
They are wearing what they wore in Halo: Reach. (From what I've seen) -
I mostly play custom games when I'm online, but I'm a Brigadier Grade 3.
-
Only if you promise to brush your teeth for at least five minutes after you finish it.
-
I know, and I don't have a problem with someone disliking them or the game. I just would like for people to actually explain the reasoning behind their thoughts. Simply saying something sucks, is "gay", or not explaining how AAs might break maps or why the game is bad or "sucks" is not enough for me. I'd like to have some examples as to how they came up with their thoughts is all. If people can explain the reasoning behind their thoughts, and give decent reasons, that's perfectly fine.

Yep. It's pretty easy to use. I'll post a link below. You'll need to make an account (once you download and install it), then get it to detect your console (make sure you've got your network stuff hooked up), and then it should run fine. I had a little bit of trouble with it, but some of the people using it helped me when I asked. If you want to play Halo 2, you'll need to go to the "System Link" menu in the game. Once you've done that and have everything working, just click to join a server in the application, and you should see a game or two come up on your television. http://www.xbconnect...topic=downloads
