You can play Reach without the DLC. It says you don't have all the recommended downloadable content to play, but it does not force you to buy it to play. Also, why wouldn't you want to have more maps for Reach? I only had to pay for the first map pack, and got an early access code for the second for free. If you decide to buy one of the map packs, go with the second one. The Defiant Map Pack. Highlands is so far my favourite map. At least they're not doing what they did with Halo 3. In Halo 3, were some playlists that you weren't allowed to play unless you got the map packs, which was really annoying since I didn't have the money to purchase them.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to find them like in Halo 2 and 3. That's what I've heard, at least. (I think from 343 themselves in some interview or video)

No, I think you need to re read what he said. You're obviously misreading what he's saying. He said that some people dislike Halo 2, and that they only dislike it because they like the MC. That's what he said. I replied stating that I dislike Halo 2, yet I dislike the MC as well. I said he was wrong because of that, which he is.

I never said that most people don't like Halo because of the Master Chief. Please read what I posted again.

Wrong. I despise the Master Chief, yet I dislike Halo 2. The MC of Halo: CE was alright, but Halo 2 and Halo 3 turned him into some supposed "badass". I never felt like he was a badass. I felt like he was and is an absolutely boring character. His lines never have any real emotion or weight to them (except for maybe a few in CE), and I feel no sympathy or emotional attachment to him. That automatically proves that statement of yours wrong. I like Halo because I enjoy the gameplay. That's why I enjoy Halo. I dislike Halo 2 because it was unfinished, unpolished, glitchy, and the campaign was boring. That's why I dislike Halo 2.

Well you might not have looked carefully enough. It was announced as one of the changes they were making to the game. I'm personally glad to have it. If I manage to stick someone with a grenade, I don't want to have my kill taken from me just because they can press a button. I stuck them, I deserve the kill.

I don't honestly see how you can. I'm a console gamer, but PCs are the superior platform. How is someone a "BK" (such a stupid little term, by the way) for using a mouse? Is it because they have more control over how they look? That they can aim more precisely? I'm sorry, but no. A PC FPS player would dominate a console player without a doubt. How was ODST's Firefight mode better? Reach has a lot more customization than ODST did for Firefight. There are plenty of options to tweak it to play just how you want it to. Please tell me how you believe ODST to have the better Firefight.

Please explain why you think it's heaps of fail. If you're going to say something is bad, explain why you think so. I happen to think the update is pretty good. Being unable to shed sticky grenades means that you won't cheat someone out of a kill they should have obtained, active camo I didn't really see a problem with, and the DMR bloom seems a lot better now. I'm able to shoot more accurately, but I'm still required to time my shots. I think they found the "sweet spot" with 85%, but I think that they might have to do something about the pistol. What exactly, I'm not sure.

All of the changes in the Title Update Beta are absolutely fine, and are all I'd like changed about how Reach plays. I would like a different ranking system, however.

Even if all my teammates quit or are doing poorly, I still stay in the game and play. Despite if I may go negative or not, I don't quit just because I'm the only decent player on my team, or everyone else leaves. Like Soldier said, stop being a poor sport.

They said Halo 4 is the start of a new trilogy, so don't you mean Halo 6? After that though, they should finish up the MC's story.

No, technically I don't have to anything. I don't have to play Halo 2 over again (or like it) to be a fan of the series, and you've got no good reasons as to why that would be so. I have played the campaign, I've beaten it. I just choose not to play through it again because I find it to be the worst in the series, just like the multiplayer.

Gather some friends and download the Zero Bloom gametype. You can play it as much as you want. I prefer the 85% bloom gametype, though.
