Dual-wielding has always been something that I've never really cared for. It's neat for a few instances here and there, but I've always stuck to wielding a single, stronger weapon. All it does it clutter up the weapon sandbox and make a lot of weapons far too weak to use on their own. I would rather have every weapon be an effective tool of destruction. Something I can pick up and feel confident with. Having two, if not only one weapon that fills a specific range/role is something I prefer as well. Personally I'm glad that they decided to not include it in Halo 4.

That's only a rumour. 343 Industries has never said anything about weapon and vehicle customisation apart from being able to create a custom loadout with a few select weapons. Power weapons will not be an option in custom loadouts.

This isn't the official 343 Industries website, so you're not going to get a response from any staff at the company. If you'd like to email them or ask them on their official website, head over to the forum section of http://www.halo.xbox.com As for your question, we don't know if the Elites will be playable in Custom Games and Forge yet. While I understand them not being in matchmaking due to the story of why the Spartans are fighting each other and their location, the option to play as them in Customs and Forge would be very nice.

My favourite campaign mission is either "Winter Contingency", "Long Night of Solace", "Exodus", "The Pillar of Autumn", or "Lone Wolf". I can't really decide between those since I like them all quite a lot. ^^; I can tell you that my least favourite mission is "Nightfall" though. >.>

There is no dual-wielding in Halo 4. 343 Industries has already come out and said this.

The only versions of the game available for purchase will be the regular/standard edition of the game and the Limited edition.

Halo is Changing NOT Turning into COD, So Deal With It!
CandiBunni replied to reclaimer117's topic in Halo 4
I can get behind this, though nowhere has it been shown or said or even hinted at that you will be able to customise weapons. I'm sure you also know that Spartan Points and Spartan Ops are only placeholder names, not the final names for those things. Whether or not Halo starts to use features that were made popular by shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield doesn't necessarily equal a bad thing. Halo can still take these things and add some small twists to keep it unique. The features used in Call of Duty and Battlefield aren't inherently bad. They're only bad because they may not have been implemented properly. If 343 Industries can take something another game does and put a nice twist on it and/or balance it, I don't mind seeing that feature in Halo. That doesn't mean that I want Halo to stop having its own feel however.- 25 replies

You could at least give some legitimate reasons for why you wouldn't want Halo to also be available on the PC. I wouldn't mind Halo being released on the PC alongside the Xbox 360 releases, or maybe released a year or two afterwards. If they would be willing to support the community by offering modding kits, exclusive content, and a good multiplayer interface/service then I would be all for it. My PC wouldn't be able to handle something like Halo 4 and I'm mainly a console gamer so I'd play on the Xbox 360, but if I were to upgrade my computer so that it could run something like a PC version of Halo 4 on max settings, I'd gladly purchase and play it on that platform as well.

There isn't a Halo 4 beta and as I said they have already confirmed this. Please see the question and response taken from the 3.07.12 Halo Bulletin below. Will there be a public multiplayer Beta, like the Halo 3 and Halo: Reach Betas, where everyday people got to play them? With this being 343's first Halo game and entry in the franchise, it seems like something very important. –UnanimousCrab42 While we are testing Halo 4 code, gameplay, and systems at significant scale to get excellent data, input, and feedback, we are focused on polishing and shipping our experience for the duration of the year, and splitting resources to manage and build a beta is not on our schedule.

It was said quite a long while back in an interview that there would not be a Halo 4 beta. Frank O' Connor said that a beta would interfere with what they're doing, that it would be a distraction. He assured us in the same interview that they are testing the game to scale and working to make sure that they ship a polished product.

Halo 4 343 Industried exclusive interview, contains MP footage
CandiBunni replied to Adam91's topic in Halo 4
This looked really nice. The animations look far better than what we've seen in the past and the detail on the models seems to be closer to what has been shown in the screenshots. I'm definitely liking all that I've seen and heard about, though I am still a bit wary about how the specializations and modifications might work. -
What kinda insult is that ya no-account, bush-whackin’ barracuda?!

That's the thing. You really don't. 343 Industries isn't going to go back and allow the use of Elites in matchmaking just because some fans want them to be playable in that mode. I don't doubt that they will still give us the option to play as them in Forge and Custom Games at the very least, so you will still have those two modes to help satisfy all of your Elite role playing needs. I understand how it feels to not be allowed to play with a certain model/look that you want in matchmaking. I myself am disappointed that Halo 3 only features a change in voice clips for female players instead of an actual female model, but you're still probably going to have SOME modes to play as Elites in. It's better than nothing.

I can be quite lazy and procrastinate sometimes. I'm terrible at maths. I have a general lack of knowledge on a lot of things, mostly because I was never really exposed to them very much or had then taught to me. Sometimes I can be quite blunt, and people might take it offensively even though I never mean to offend. ^^;

Beer? Not on my watch! (I don't have a watch ) Anywho, happy birthday Twam! It's kind of hard to believe you're only about a year older than myself. Everyone here gets a carrot grown by yours truly!

I really don't wish to see dismemberment or any real amount of gore in Halo...ever. Gore and such work for some games like Fallout, Gears of War, Mortal Kombat, Prototype, Dead Space, etc., but I don't really feel like it works for Halo. To me, Halo has always been a bit more mature in this regard because while it had blood, it was never really used in excessive amounts and there was never an abundance of gore apart from when you killed The Flood. Even then, it didn't really look too disgusting or disturbing enough to really bother me. Seeing gore like that of Dead Space, Gears of War, or any of these other games that feature it would just seem really strange to me if it was in Halo.

I don't think either way, because there's not really much on it. I think the concept of it is pretty great, but I and no one else can really judge its implementation as of right now. When I get Halo 4, I won't be playing multiplayer or "Spartan Ops" first. I'll be playing the campaign before anything else, then I'll focus on the other features. Once I get around to the multiplayer side of Halo 4, I'll probably check out Custom Games and "Spartan Ops" before actual matchmaking.

From an artistic perspective maybe and maybe not, but from a technical and realistic point of view Halo 4 is far superior than either Halo 3 or Halo: Reach. This being said, I enjoy how each of the three look in their own right. Halo 3 is colourful and wacky, Halo: Reach is a bit more real and has a bit of grit, while Halo 4 seems to have an even more realistic and dark science fiction aesthetic than either Halo 3 or Halo: Reach. It's nice to see the series improving its visuals so much.

While you're free to your opinion, I personally think it's downright silly to dismiss the game just because it doesn't have a certain ranking system. I don't care what kind of system they use, I care more about the campaign's story, music, and atmopshere, as well as the gameplay more so than a ranking system. It doesn't really bother me that much that they're not using a 1 - 50 system, because I honestly couldn't care less about something like that. I just want to enjoy the gameplay and have fun playing against others. That's all that matters to me when it comes to matchmaking. Don't you think you should at least give the game a fair and honest chance before writing it off like that? Sure they're not going with a ranking system you like, but is the ranking system really more important to you than the campaign and actual multiplayer/gameplay?

What do you think of me in 100% honesty? o:

Here are a list of some of the anime I really love and enjoy. They aren't in any particular order. I've listed how many episodes, movies, and OVAs that I know each one has. Please keep in mind I'm only listing how many episodes, movies, and OVAs I know of for each. There may or may not be more movies and OVAs for each of these, so you'll have to search up if you really want to find out the exact numbers of each. The episode count should be fairly accurate though. I My Me! Strawberry Eggs (13 episodes) Ranma 1/2 (161 episodes. 2 movies, 13 OVAs) Serial Experiments: Lain (13 episodes) Otome wa Boku ni Koi****eru (12 episodes, 1 OVA) Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl (12 episodes, 1 OVA) Asatte no Houkou (12 episodes) Lucky Star (24 episodes, 6 - 7 OVAs) Azumanga Daioh (26 episodes 1 movie) Gravitation (13 episodes 1 OVA(split into two parts) ) R.O.D the TV (26 episodes 3 OVAs)

What missions are you talking about that are hard to see in? We haven't seen any missions yet, only heard a small portion about an early one. We also haven't seen any cutscenes apart from the teaser trailer and maybe small snippets of others. I don't want Halo 4 to be both an FPS and an RTS. It seems like it would be quite jarring to be playing in first person, then suddenly you're introduced to an RTS section and made to learn all of the controls and mechanics of that section and others like it. Not to mention it seems like something that would be absolutely strange for co-op, because what would the other players do? Halo 4, in my eyes, should only be an FPS. If they wish to do another RTS Halo game, it should be its own separate game and not something placed into Halo 4.

If you could creat an award what would it be?
CandiBunni replied to M4sT3r Ch13f S117's topic in General Discussion
I would name my award "Mystic's Blessing". It wouldn't be a simple or easy award to obtain. Only those who I witness doing something special on the site that caught my attention would be given my blessing. Likewise, if you received it and then did something that was bad enough, it would be taken away. My award would not be one that could be given back. If you have it taken away, it's gone for good.
