A friend and I wanted to create a challenging Firefight variant that was both extremely challenging, yet fun to play. So, we made the AI extremely challenging by increasing damage resistance (110%), awareness, sight, hearing, accuracy, and how often they throw grenades. We lowered the player's melee damage (75%,) increased the speed (110%) and jump hight (110%,) turned on health regeneration (50%), turned on poor active camo, and gave unlimted use of equipment (evade only.)
The reasoning behind most of the changes were to give you the feeling that you are a Spartan-III. Spartan-III's would rely on superior battle tactics, teamwork and sheer numbers rather than advanced technology and equipment, to achieve their effectiveness.
What changes could be done? Should enemies be changed ore randomized? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
