  2. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero edition Pre-ordering Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will earn you the Day Zero edition. This edition will allow you to play a day ealier then those who didn't pre-order their copy. "But for how much more money P34nut?!" Absolutely none! The Day Zero edition will be sold at the regular price. So there's no reason not to pre-order this if you were planning to buy it anyway. Your local gamestore will deliver your pre-ordered copy on November 3rd which is the day before the official release date. (Which is November 4th if you weren't paying attention) Activision has stated that the stock is limited so you better secure your copy before someone else walks away with it. But the extra's don't stop there. You'll also recieve two new custom weapons as well as Double EXP during the 24 hours before the official launch.   5. Destiny beta characters lost forever Were your hopes that your Destiny beta character would carry over to the full game? Then I hate to be the buzzkiller that tells you that it won't happen... Sorry You won't be able to see even one of your characters back according to Bungie. So you'll have to start from scratch when you get the full game. Bungie claims that all the characters have been deleted because they've made a lot of tweaks and added/removed a lot of things which would impact your beta guardian quite severely. So Bungie decided to get rid of the beta characters altogether. However Bungie ensures you that this will defenitely be the last time your guardian dissappears from existence. The guardian you create on September 9th will be with you forever, if you're merciful enough not to delete him/her. Are you saddened or don't you really care that your buddy is lost?   7. Battlefield 4 September update details With September being just around the corner DICE has given us the list of fixes they have in store for Battlefield 4. The changes about to be made are based of results and feedback from community members using The Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment. One of the big fixes is changes to the soldier movement. The soldier movements will now be similair to those of Battlefield 3 but without comprimising the visuals. This also makes it easier to get out of undesired firefights. DICE has also made the 3rd person reaction a bit less eccentric as the character models would move their heads a lot when being hit. The next big fix is the removal of 'screen clutter' which is not being able to see your enemy because of all the HUD elements and mostly dying because of this. (Battlefield 4 players will know for sure) Your HUD will now only display the things that are vital and you'll be given the choice of what you want displayed personally. Weapon balancing will also occur as usual. This time DICE has focussed on the time to kill and worked towards making is consistent. "We've focused on maintaining a consistent Time To Kill (how long an average engagement lasts for). With the changes to visual recoil, the third person hit reactions and improved tickrates has been sped up somewhat as we still need to balance this with damage and recoil changes." DICE has also tweaked the visual recoil which makes it so that close and medium ranged optics will not move with the gun anymore. Improvements have been made to the revive mechanic which will now have a charge meter and make a different sound when fully charged. Ragdolls have been improved to help with the revives. Improving the netcode has also been done. This will make ping differences, trading kills and getting killed behind cover less of an issue. They've also looked at vehicle balancing and tinkered around a bit where it was necessary. DICE has also shared some details on what they'll tend towards next update.   14. It'd be great if they were to work together. The only problem is that they'd both have to get paid and that might be money 343i is not willing to spend, after all Neil is doing a damn fine job alone and doesn't really need a help out. I mean listen to this: *ahem* We'll probably have to get used to this new type of music, I mean everything from Marty is so iconic and loved because of the feeling of nostalgia we get when we hear the MJOLNIR theme. In a few years we'll hear this and think about all the glorius moments we had.

  19. The limited edition for the Master Chief Collection has been announced We asked for it, and we got it! A Master Chief limited Edition has been announced. This limited edition is now available for pre-order at most retailers. This edition will include: -A Steelbook case -A physical map book featuring all maps that are in the game -The Grunt Funeral Skull DLC Now a little sad news for the US gamers. The Steelbook case will not be available for you. But you can of course still get your hands on the Map book and early acces for the Grunt Funeral Skull. (All skulls will be available to everyone after a month) An official price has not been released yet but my guesses are that the price won't be that much higher since we're only getting 3 items. The release date is set on Nov 11th for the US and Nov 14th for the UK. Now I'm interested to hear if you're going to get this limited edition and of so, would you rather have it release on Nov 11th without the Steelbook or would you rather have a release on Nov 14th with the Steelbook?   20. I liked the Spin-off series, they gave me so much more perspective from what happened around the Master Chief. So I'd like to see more. What I wouldn't want to see if sequels for those spin-off series. I don't exactly know why but I'd rather see their stories wrapped up in the main Halo series rather then it being played out in a stand alone game.

  22. Well a lot of armor variations are unlocked by completing challenges. But I agree, armor unlocks through achievements give some more recognition towards the wearer. Like in Halo 3.
