Could a mod please pin this cause I was thinking I could put all Minecraft related news in this topic. I found some websites that said Minecraft XBLA will be released on the 5th of March, i forgot what they were but I'll post them here when I find them again, now, do you think Minecraft XBLA will be released on the 5th of March? Minecraft on Xbox Live Arcade is to follow the same launch strategy as the PC version, releasing first as a beta. In an interview with Develop, Mojang founder Markus Persson discussed the Xbox Live Arcade version of his hit indie gameMinecraft. "The way we're going to do it is similar to how we did Minecraft on the PC," Persson said. "So we'll do a beta version first, or something like that, and then try to get feedback - find out which parts are actually fun to do, what do you like doing when playing on the console as opposed to the PC." One of the key challenges with bringing Minecraft to the Xbox 360 is the game's controls. According to Persson, crafting has been particularly difficult to port. "The biggest challenge at the moment is figuring out the crafting, because just porting it straight out the box turns what is really fun on PC into boring data entry on a 360 pad," he explained. "That's the thing we are working on right now. The Kinect features are going to be one of the more interesting aspects, too." Persson also revealed that Minecraft on Xbox Live Arcade will not support mods, an option that has become popular on the PC to add new creatures, items and visuals to the game. Mojang is working with Scotland developer 4J Studios to port Minecraft to Xbox Live Arcade. 4J Studios previously worked with Microsoft and Rare to bring Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie andPerfect Dark to Xbox Live Arcade.

I'm glad to see Halo CE is still on that list.

It seems like just yesterday that I bought my Xbox 360, time goes by way too fast, but, I can't wait for the "Xbox 720"!
