  1. In an Interview with the voice actor of the Master Chief, Steve Downes, has confirmed Halo 2 anniversary is coming. Gamezone sat down the Steve and spoke with him about Halo 5 and the rumors about Halo 2 anniversary. This is what he had to say about it. “I think you may be ahead of yourself on Halo 5,” Downes said. “I wouldn’t expect anything until 2015. What you can look forward to this year is an anniversary edition of Halo 2.” It is unsure if the re-release will contain it's own multiplayer, if it will just ported over to Halo 4 or if it will just be HD version of the campaign. Halo 2 is arguably the game that has defined online console gaming and has been a great success for Xbox Live. Gamezone has not published the full interview yet but they did say it will be up soon. What are your thoughts on this news, are you happy to hear Halo 2 anniversary is coming, are you upset Halo 5 has been delayed? Update On Steve's facebook he was confronted with comments from fans asking about him confirming Halo 2 anniversary, Steve made comments backing out of his supposed statement. "Let me clarify something. I think there may be a misunderstanding. I have no official info on a H2 anniversary edition. I've only heard what you have heard. You'll have to go to Waypoint for the official word" http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=100731122&postcount=16365 So was their a mix up at the interview or did Steve Downes mistakenly confirm Halo 2 anniversary and had back out of his statement? 8. I'm excited for it if it's true, that being said microsoft would have denied this rumor hours after surfacing it it was false and it's been weeks now, they've shot down any other rumors shortly after surfacing, that's the reason why I think Halo 2A is true. Btw Halo 2A would be the side project not Halo 5 lol.
  9. Pikes, shrikes and swallows all basically the same motor cycle inspired vehicle. I really hope bungie have other completely different vehicles for us to use, so far I have not seen much of a selection as the only vehicles so far are the same. But putting that aside I'm still very keen on this game, can't wait to play it and uncover the story. Great post Kenway Edit: Just found out the shrike is the new name for the sparrow.

"FYI: The February #XboxOne System Update will ship this week, but not today." Major Nelson announced on his twitter page, "The team is working on finalizing. More details when I get them." In related news it has been confirmed that the update will need to be manually accepted, Microsoft told Kotaku, just like the 360 updates. This weeks update will include; Better system stability. Improved kinect voice commands. Power Indicator that monitors the controllers battery life. Ability to check and manage storage space. 22. I can't see that deal making Xbox One's sell that little bit faster at gamestop, it's just $10 of a controller. In my opinion, with the price of the controllers, I wouldn't even feel like I saved money on it at all. I think they have to sweeten it a little more to take the bumps out of the sales. Great article Kenway!
  23. Microsoft chooses new Chief Executive Officer Yesterday Microsoft announced that Satya Nadella will be the new Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Bill gates also has made a switch of positions as he takes on the new role of Technology Advisor after leaving as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Satya Nadella, who has replaced Steve Ballmer as CEO has been at Microsoft for 22 years, joining in 1992. Before the announcement yesterday Nadella was the Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group. Upon his new role, Nadella sent emails to his fellow employees saying how humbling it is for him and that it's like his first day joining the company over two decade ago. "Today is a very humbling day for me. It reminds me of my very first day at Microsoft, 22 years ago. Like you, I had a choice about where to come to work. I came here because I believed Microsoft was the best company in the world" Bill gates who was also among the change of positions said a few words on Nadella becoming CEO. “During this time of transformation, there is no better person to lead Microsoft than Satya Nadella,” The co founder also said; "Satya is a proven leader with hard-core engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together. His vision for how technology will be used and experienced around the world is exactly what Microsoft needs as the company enters its next chapter of expanded product innovation and growth.” Quite a few changes have been happening at Microsoft lately, being within the main company itself and within their gaming studios.
