As we prepare for launch of the Xbox One Yusuf Mehdi and Marc Whitten from Xbox gives us a 12 minute demo of the console in which they walk us through the new dashboard which can be color customized. We get to see an interesting new way to sign in to our accounts and another run through of other new Xbox live features and apps such as upload studio, skype, instant switching and more. The new kinect sensor that will be coming with the Xbox One has another new cool feature up it's sleeve, it will have the ability to scan and redeem Xbox live codes by simply holding up the code card in view of the sensor and saying "Xbox use code" the sensor reads the QR code on the card and it is redeemed in a matter of seconds. Microsoft has been sending out emails to selected customers giving away free digital copies of Killer Instinct for the Xbox One for when it launches on November 22nd. The emailed said "You're a fan of ours and we're a fan of yours.Thank you for your dedication to Xbox. We want to show you our appreciation, so we're giving you Killer Instinct." Some have been told that this offer is not legitimate but it has been confirmed that it is on the Xbox Support twitter account. It hasn't been clear what exactly Xbox gamers need to do or to have done to be awarded this freebie but Xbox Supported has stated, "We've selected a bunch of our Xbox fans for their support and as a celebration for the upcoming Xbox One," They also said, "We don't have any specifics on that other than that some users have received a gift." "We considered a variety of things like Gamerscore, Live tenure and other factors in markets where Xbox One is available." Bungie has given out Destiny codes to the community to unlock certain things in the game, it is unknown what these codes unlock at the moment as it tells you to check back in 2014 to see what you have unlocked. Here are the codes and they have each been given name that relates to the game, so this could be a hint what the codes give us, possibly some kind of exclusive access to weapons, armor etc. It is unknown that if the unlocked contents can be used in the beta but more news will probably surface regarding that. Titan - MVD-4N3-NKH Hunter - 3DA-P4X-F6A Warlock - YKA-RJG-MH9 Rixis achron slayer - TCN-HCD-TGY Hive - 473-MXR-3X9 Gjallarhorn - HC3-H44-DKC Moon - JMR-LFN-4A3 Old Russia - HDX-ALM-V4K These codes and be redeemed at this site http://www.bungie.net/en/User/redeemedcodes and they can be used by everyone so it is not first come first serve.

Great trailer thanks for posting choot! I'm guessing this is the first of a series of trailers that will focus on each of the planets that will be focused in destiny (I know the moon isn't a planet but you know what I mean) and if certain planets dont make an appearance it will add a lot to a little theory I have. Really interested to see if it goes that way.

Mountain Dew and Doritos game fuel has launched an Xbox one promotional version. Mike Fahey from kotaku got hist sands on the snacks. "A new flavor of Mountain Dew Game Fuel, a shiny bag of Doritos and a card explaining what these things have to do with the Xbox One arrived on my doorstep bright and early this morning, so I made a video and drank some soda. For you. As mentioned in the vid, there's a party at PAX this weekend, where visitors can eats and drink this stuff until they get sick. It runs from 9PM to midnight, so I've no idea what they'll do with the other two hours and forty-five minutes. Maybe roll around in some hand sanitizer. Snacktaku is Kotaku's take on the wild and wonderful world of eating things, but not eating meals. Eating meals is for those with too much time on their hands. Another month and another two free games for Xbox gold subscribers with games with gold, October with bring us Magic and Might and Halo 3. yip I'll be getting it for the xbox one GTA 5 is the final game I bought for the 360, any other games I'll get will be for next gen. I'm very curious what they will show should be good though. -

Here it is for the PS3 case and it will most likely be the same for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One cases. Also it states in the article a new gameplay trailer is coming our way tomorrow and links us to bungie.net "Tomorrow, check back right here to watch our latest gameplay trailer, set in a destination a lot of fans have been asking to see for the first time. We’ll also have some exciting announcements if you’re looking to suit up and explore our new frontier. Stay tuned!"

I pre ordered GTA 5 from amazon uk today but they have just went out of stock and waiting to resupply so I guess a release day delivery wont happen. I just want to know if anyone would have an idea how long it will be for them to resupply?

Bungie has released a video thanking the destiny community for being supportive about their new game that is launching next year. In the video Bungie has provided multiple new bits of gameplay footage from destiny from past video game events that has never been seen by the wider public. Also is that a marathon reference at 0:31? Enjoy.
