small canonical errors like this dosnt really matter, well not to me anyway, they brought the DMR back because a lot of people loved it, they wanted to make a lot of fans happy and in order to do they had to break a small minor portion of canon that dosnt mean much to the halo universe, thats basically it, and 343 shouldnt need to make up another canonical explantion why its being used in this time frame of the universe it just simply dosnt matter.

i remember watching the halo 4 teaser trailer the day it came out and then knowing we wold have to wait nearly 1 and 1/2 years for it to come out, i was like its gonna take for ever but look how far we have come now only a little over 3 months to go, seriously those 13 months went by in blink of an eye, when i think now we still have a few months to go its gonna take a long time i then remind myself what i said about having to wait like 13 months for it and look how quick that time went in.

was playing reach and i was working toward the T-HUG IT OUT challengel it was get 6 or 7 kills at close quarters so i was using the sword to get but each time i killed some one it counted as 2 kills towards the challenge, when i got 3 kills i had completed the challenge, whats up with that??

i posted this theory over at halo waypoint and i want to get your view and opinions this is a copy and paste of what i typed Ok we play as master chief in the campaign then we play as a spartan 4 in spartan ops which takes place 6 months after the events of the campaign so by that time master chief will most likely some where engaging or taking part in certian event that will could be taking place in the story of halo 5, so heres what i was thinking what ever happens in the story of spartan op's that could take tie in with a small part of the story of halo 5. Certian moments in the story of spartan op's could be referenced or mentioned some where in the campaign of halo 5, for example in spartan op's we have a mission to destroy a facility or building that was a certain amount of importance to the enemy, that could play a part in halo 5 but if it does i would assume it would be a very small part as it would be a spoiler if it was i big part, so it would be worthy of a small mention in halo 5. So for example theres a cutscene in halo 5 and an officer of some sort is talking to another officer or even MC and one of the officers is talking about that operation that was carried out to destroy that "facility" or "building" and that could be a small relevance to what the current situation is in that cutscene in halo 5. now im not saying this is the only purpose of the story of spartan op's but it could be invovled and the helping of shaping the story for halo 5 even if its just as little as a reference or a mention. what do you think?

master chiefs part in halo 4 ends when the campaign ends and we get ready for him again in halo 5, so spartan ops its gonna be about our spartan imo it might not feel right seeing him in spartan op's after finishing an intense campaign and story of him. Also spartan op's takes place 6 months after the events of halo 4 so MC is most likely already engaging the events of halo 5 also i thing crossed my mind is that what the story is and what we do in spartan ops might actually play a part in halo 5's story as little as reference or a mention of certain operation carried out that could tie in with the story.

While we wait anxiously on the on the return of Master Chief share with us how or when you first found out about halo 4 how did you come across the trailer, did a friend tell you about it, where you expecting master chief to return? For me i was just going on youtube to listen to a few songs just minding my own business the i seen a video saying "halo 4 trailer 2012" so i was like "yeah what ever here we ago another prank video" so i was curious to check it out but when i clicked it i seen the amount of likes and view and i was like hold on a minute could this be true? and it was true Master chief has returned halo 4 is happening, i never thought in a million years this would happen i was gob smacked my jaw hit the ground seriously for me the impossible just came possible, a reality. I thought master chief was never to return, despite what happened in the legendary ending in halo 3 because game and movie companies do that incase they want a sequel but it dosnt always happen. so yeah that was truly a very unexpected surprise for me.

this may be a seriously stupid question, ok us the readers of the books (well not me i havnt read them all) know that there were ancient humans that fought the forerunners, but do the humans in halo now know this piece oftheir history? do they know that they had a highly advanced ancient civilzation that fought against the forerunners and got devolved?

@one although i have not read the forerunner books i still now some stuff about them and i agree as soon as those books came on the scene halo's fiction got to confusing, contradicting and frankly some of it is a little stupid.

yeah you can see it basically being revealed as a promethean knight after 10:34 in that panel video, i may be wrong. no precursors are not versions of the flood, they precursors were a civilization of being, they created the flood.

i dont want any other spartans in the campaign but thats not gonna happen, seeing that image of the 3 spartans standing behind the chief was a very disappointing sight for me.
