Yeah objectives would make the gameplay flow better. I might make an objective map by using the forge items somehow; the merc does has 1 life because he's the last man standing. The round ends when he dies. -
If you're a fan of stealth games or cannot wait for the next spy vs merc mode in SC: Blacklist, then this should be an automatic download for you. The gametype is called Spec Ops. It can be played 1v1 or 2v1. It can't be 2v2 frustratingly because if the 2 mercs win then the round wont end. This game took me 1 month to make. Mostly from balancing the gameplay. Spec Ops: Score: unlimited Rounds: 4 Time limit: 4 min Respawns: unlimited, 5 sec Kill points: 1 point Zombie kill points: 2 points Zombies: 2 Merc traits: -AR -grenade launcher -shields and health have no recharge -no radar -no AA Spy traits: -plasma pistol -no shields -50% weapon damage -300% melee damage(still takes 2 pummels to kill) -125% speed -120% jump height -good camo -enhanced radar(25m) -forced color: black -infinite ammo -no weapon pick up -bubble shield(note:it heals health) Warehouse Map: -1 shotgun -1 DMR -2 magnums -2 ARs -hologram -1 health pack -2 teleports -1 custom powerup(shield recharge, radar enhanced for 5 sec, and waypoint: visible to everyone) Notes: -This has nothing to do with zombies -1v1: If you get first strike you are the spy next round -Spy: don't use your weapon to kill and running takes ur camo away -Merc: back against the wall and dont camp or you will die faster Gamertag: CHeK xJAMx *gametype and map is in my fileshare along with some cool screenshots and a gameplay film. If you don't like stealth games please give it a try. You might like it.

The only time I play a DLC map is if I decide to play anniversary slayer. There needs to be a TU DLC playlist for everyone that bought the maps; including the anniversary maps. Beaver creek is like the best map ever! And it's rarely playable?!?! Does anyone feel like they wasted their money on DLC. I kinda thought it was an obvious problem until I saw the June matchmaking update The current DLC playlist has too many players and it's mostly big maps and objectives. It doesn't need to be retired. It can be moved to a new playlist under 'Community'. Along with my new suggested playlist which would be DLC TU Slayer with 8-10 players. Maps: beaver creek, prisoner, hang em high, damnation, condemned, anchor 9, tempest, asylum, countdown, reflection, uncaged, boardwalk, pinnacle, and zealot. Gametypes: TU slayer, TU slayer DMRs, and shotty snipers. Voting Options: round 1 slot 1- dlc map slayer slot 2- dlc map DMRs slot 3- default map DMRs slot 4- none Voting Options: round 2 slot 1- dlc map slayer slot 2- default map DMRs slot 3- default map shotty snipers Please make it happen 343i, and of course it doesn't need to be exactly like my idea. pretty please with cherries, caramel, chocolate syrup, peanuts, a banana, reeses, and sprinkles on top

Remember the Halo 3 teaser trailer where the chief kicks the brute cheftain in the face? Imagine doing that in multiplayer! This is how it would work: You would simply sprint, jump, and press the melee button. There would be no lunge because that wouldn't make since, and Im not talking about a karate kick. Im talking exactly how the chief does that badass kick in the trailer.

I believe the 4 shot kill is the sweet spot for Halo's multiplayer. I can't really explain myself; after playing every Halo Halo 2's BR felt just right(if you ignore the double/quad shot). I think there's more to Halo's multiplayer than just that one weapon though. As a Halo fan Im also somewhat a Gears of War fan as well. Well not until Gears 3 came out. Like Cliff B. said, "I think we really hit the sweet spot with this one." At first I was like, "yeah we'll just see about that." I wasn't even interested in playing the beta, until my friend gave me one of his 3 beta codes. When I played it I was amazed of how much better this game was than the past GoW games, and it wasn't the dedicated servers. It was all the different types of weapons and the balancing of them. It was no longer gnashers of war. Halo has always been based around one weapon. It's always a headshot precision weapon. Im not gonna waste my time and think of what type of weapons could find Halo's sweet spot because I don't work for 343i. Even if 343i doesn't give us the best Halo multiplayer they still have Halo 5, Halo 6, Halo 7, etc. Hell they might as well make Halo 7 have Infection only with the flood as the infected. I'd buy it.

The big guy at halofest said you would be able to adjust the percentage of the bloom from 0%-25%-50%-75%-normal.

Classic Playlist needs minor fixes

I get it...some people like bloom. what was the point of zero bloom in the TU beta then? It was one of the top gametypes in that playlist. You'd think it be for the classic playlist. Is there a Halo 2 style gametype coming soon? With a 4 shot kill DMR? -
As a CE fan my favorite playlist is the classic playlist, but there's a couple of problems in it. I know it's not strictly CE multiplayer because there's DMRs and a different AR. 1. Bloom on the pistol is not necessary, the RoF got lowered to match the M6D... The bloom is very random. Sometimes when you spam the trigger the bloom will reset much faster than it's supposed to. Test it out if you don't believe me. 2. The AR needs to be the beatdown weapon from Halo 3. You currently have to take their shields out before you can pummel them. Thats not fair for AR users, nor is it balanced. Increase the beatdown back up to 100%. 3. Take bloom off of DMR too.

If they can change the pistol they should be able to change the AR to 60 rounds. Im not sayn now, but maybe in the future.

There should be a lot of different starting weapons. There could be marksman weapons like the BR, DMR, and M6D pistol. Then automatic weapons like the AR, SMG, Plasma Repeater, and LMG. I don't think aiming down the sights would take the core gameplay of halo away. You aim the DMR and BR with a scope, so why not with the AR, SMG, etc. They could have one of those smaller scopes with 2x zoom. Or there could just be a new AR with a scope. Imagine an automatic BR. -
I've been a halo fan since CE. I believe halo needs significant changes to gameplay. Although Im not sure how aiming with an AR works, but it would be awesome to finally aim down the sights of an AR. I also want to see a LMG type weapon in Halo 4. When you aim down the sights it won't effect your speed because that would slow down gameplay. The headshot weapons of course would have scopes(buy differ types of scopes?), so that wouldn't be a change, which isn't bad. Recoil would be good because it would require expierence and skill with the weapon you use. It's better than bloom because it's not annoying and lucky. As for player size and server: Big Team Battle needs to be like the battlefield 3 of halo. I feel Bungie could've made Invasion way more awesome in Reach. I would LUV! to see a quickmatch playlist for replacing the quitters. Im sick of that crap. Whatever 343i is doing I hope it's alot different than any other halo game. It's the 4TH HALO! I know some people who are tired of halo because it's always the same old school FPS that they've been playing for over ten years, so it collects dust while they play CoD or GoW instead. I can't blame them. Halo needs a change...

Alot of people like me like not having bloom because it's classic halo. The reason I don't like the current bloom is because it's too bloomy meaning it's broken. I like the TU bloom settings better though because spamming is a must now, untill you go for the headshot. The magnum should stay as a 5 shot weapon so the AR is usable, and so it won't be the main starting weapon in zero bloom slayer. The DMR needs to be the main 4 shot weapon.
