I feel your pain, makes me wish team killing was allowed again. I've been killed so many times because my exit route was cut off by someone with no friggin situational awareness it's pathetic. Been blown off the map in mid jump a few times in mid jump because of loose nades .... really, you throw nades near a team mate in CQB .... the list is endless. The most obnoxious kids play any more. Jump in front of your line of fire, Bump into you knock your shot off line, block a door way aka your escape route, ridiculous. I want team killing back.

DeRanking is an easy issue, don't allow it, ever. Once you have it, it's your baby. Period. That was always the answer. 1-50 isn't the only thing that made Halo 2 and 3 different but I certainly agree with the OP.

The list of flaws in the game is nigh endless. That being said, even I'M tired of talking about it. I'm simply going to kick back and wait and see what happens in the TU and hope that they at least get some of the issues, if not fixed entirely, at least headed in the right direction. Until that point, I'll just be running from time to time with friends and we'll see how it sorts out. Dubs and grifball are supposed to be out shortly and those are 2 of my favorite lists to play. We'll see how it goes. If they implement the new smaller and mid sized maps into swat, I'll probably get back into that as well. We'll just have to see how it goes.

There's already enough H4 hate posts. I'd just let it go.

BR all day. Some of those maps shouldn't be used for swat. I used to use the carbine all the time in swat lol. 1st extermination ever was with one of those in swat.

If they didn't have such a terribad search matrix, you wouldn't see so many quits. Also, this hidden skill system search is terribad as well. Personally, I don't understand how you can have players from 8 different countries in the same game. That's just blatant laziness in the development of their searching system. I quit all the time when I get put into games with terribad host. I never have and never will stay in a game to get my head ripped off by someone eating shots like fat kids eat candy, forget about it. They have work to do on their end 1st before they can even think about implementing penalties.

Different playlists, aka Social and Ranked = Higher retained online population. That's not speculation, that's a pure fact.

Just look it up on youtube. There must be 20 or more videos on it.

The problem with the "background" skill ranking system is that forces folks to run together that have different mentalities playing in the game. That's purely BK. Seperate ranked and social lists is the way to go.

H2 system FTW. LOL all you like. Disable JIP for ranked lists.

Agree with OP lol. An alternative is to use firepower and use both DMR and BR. That's how most of my classes are set up.

It's still not gonna be fun until we get SEPERATE ranked and social lists lol. Having a rank is one thing, having team mates that are in that same skill level is another and that's where H2 and H3 had it right.

The problem is that the maps in the previous Halos, even Reach, were made for specific purposes whereas H4 has tried to jam all the playlists into a very poor map selection. I'm trying to be critical but w/out being mean lol.

Regarding the above post and no offense icycoolx, the DMR is not overpowered. Outside of that, I agree. I agree, there need to be more forum mods to combine these posts or redirect them.

I'd like to go there and climb that mountain and see that for sure. I think that it's really ridiculous to so much as speculate that we're the only intelligent beings in the universe. I'd love to plunder what they have stored in various facilities. Frankly it's ridiculous to believe that it's all in one spot.
