Hey Halo fans! I'll make this quick. I really want to own a set of ODST armor to wear to gaming events/conventions and just for the satisfaction of being closer to the Halo universe than ever before. I have a friend that possesses the means of making vacuum-molded plastic parts for armor, e.t.c. (He made his own Stormtrooper armor out of the same material.) However I don't know HOW to make it! Namely how parts of the suit would be designed, how armor plates would fixate and link together to make a complete suit. I figured that coming to the 343 Industries forums would be a good place to find the answers I'm looking for or at least be pointed in the right direction by like-minded fans for support-ideas. So please I'm open to ideas, suggestions and helpful info to actually make this dream come true.

If you look at the armory and the available items from a "universe/reality based-standpoint" having hundreds of armor models and the resulting customization is unrealistic. Not only is it a logistical obstacle for art teams but you have to think "how many corporations with military contracts would be producing hundreds of variants of armor let alone for MJOLNIR armor?" So if you look back to the lore and setting of the conflict you'll get your answer. Plus if you keep demanding more and more in terms of aesthetics you'll run into the problem with Pokemon...
