  3. Infection. More specificly : Flood Infection. I think that the new, improved infection should include the infected as Flood. This would look alot better than just a sligtly difeerent coloured spartan running around with an energy sword. Being a Flood would actualy give the game a more of a "survival" aspect. When a human dies, a Mini-Flood thing comes and just devourers the body of the spartan. wen the spartan respawns he looks exactly like a Flood. Doing this could add more customisation to the game (after all, isnt that what Halos about?). You could customise your flood by choosing...: What arms does it have? What head does it have? What body? what special ability(? May cause unfair advantage to zombies, but then again a slight health or speed increse would cause humans to run instead of camp ?)? After all this does not just have to stop at using Human/Forrunner/Covinant maps for infection, it would also bring in Flood maps and Flood forge peices which im sure plenty of the Halo comunity have wanted since first experiencing Forge and the Flood.

  6. 1) not agreed, although should be a playlist called ''zero bloom'' for all the newbs who want it 2) AA are usefull in most situations, but need to be limmited a bit more 3) the beat downs are fine as it is, i a spartan can flip a scorpian with no real difficulty then in theory he could 1 hit beat down another spartan so 2 hits is giving a bit more of a chance. 4) the maps will be alot better if 343 take any notice of these forums.
  7. The idea was to have it in matchmaking BUT only for BTB or invation, that way there would be a large enough attacking force to overcome the defences. it could also play a part as an 'objective' in Invation. It would also be usably in campaign, forge and custom games
  8. personaly i came up with an idea to intergarte both ranking systems (cR and exp) Basicly: Credits DO NOT rank up, but are still earned every game like in reach, these can be use to buy armour and whatever else 343 put into the game Exp is used to rank up but it is made fairer than the h3 system. just an idea not sure if it would word
  9. it has been said to have the drop pod section seperate to the rest of the ship, like they did with anchor 9 in reach. and the only reson why it would turn into a startwars type game is if we were given the 'force' and 'lightsabres' and we're a long way off that yet...
  10. then again imagine what the comuntity could do with my 'Buffalo'. good ideas but the buffalo was made to equal the scarab, and an upgraded elephant just would not cut it. Although i can see what you say about it 'folding' up into an elephant. I actualy put this on a post on another site describing it in full, and the 'folded' setting on it was equivilant to a shut down or idle mode for getting into the vehicle, when it has sustained enough damage and for when it has be told to shut down to prevent further dammag.
  11. Nice story bro. I'm working on a book my-self. But its will be a propper one like 100 odd pages long one, so i wont be able to publish it here. Say, you ever though of actualy writting a full book, this could be your prologue and you could just make the rest up. I reckon that would be a brilliant story if you were to finnish it. Anyway, nice work.
  12. dude, way to much text and alot that didn't make much sence... anyway, this would be a type of defensive vehicle ( the anti-air turrts on the top would be used to defend a base from air attacks), just it could be used just as well for offencive objectives too. In my eyes its more of an all-rounder, much simmilar to the scarab, exept improve alot. as you said the covvi only absorb new techs and dont bother improving their own or the stuff they just taken over where as the UNSC will invent their own, new, technologies, this being a new, improved version of a scarab.

  14. finnished annimation, features a under wrist attachment, i call it 'chain with point on the end' I(im sure 343 could think of a better name), but i have no idea how to upload it onto this forum....(help?)
  15. gas? oh wait...there it is, you're right =P Anyway another few ideas, >Ability to customise visor carvings: instead of just having emile's skull, why cant we have like an emblem either side of the visor or even a pattern across the visor. >Custom emblem placement: being able to place your emblem anywhere on you armour you like, such as on you shoulders, hemet or on you chest like on ODST. >Custom suits: like a ghillie suit or combat armour but you can actualy use it instead of you're colours, in your colours.( would look cool to see a **** load of moss-monsters running around =P) >Custom armour disign (BIG idea and probaly not possible): Ability to choos a hemet base, add attchments and then change visor shape/size or ability to choose a shoulder base and edit the patterns on it and (for the sniper shoulder) change the amount/type of bullets. And for chests again choose a base then edit it, like add a shoulder peice (like on Grenader (UA)), add granade slots (could be used in MP), add patterns ETC. (this would work alright with the custom visor patterns and custom emblem placement) >Under wrist attachments (inspired by games like Assassin's Creed II): like Hidden Baldes, hooks, and chains, this would be good for assassinations >Custom swords: being able to customise swords/ knife preferences (what you'd prefer to use in assassinations) and customise you general blade (E.G: emblems/service tags/veins of colour) Thats about it.... Although i am working on an animation on 'Pivot' of a sweet assasination i thought of eirlier although would need used of under wrist attachments.....

  19. Before i start, this is my personal wish list and i know that there will be alot of ideas that alot of people will disagree with... Glue tool in Forge Higher Max item spawns in forge More/unlimited money to buy items in forge Kill Walls in forge (instead of a kill zone where you die when inside the area, a kill wall where you die when you exit or enter the outside of the area, like a quarentine zone) UNSC and covie vehicles from Halo Wars New UNSC 'Buffalo' (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=41fbaa5d35de8115b8eced526ddc241c) Usable ODST Drop Pods Playable Pre match lobby (where you can interact with other players and use credits to buy things from shops e.t.c) More armour in the armoury Skins instead of just colours A Garage where you can customize the outer skin of a vehicle. Customizable H.U.D (colours, e.t.c) Object creator Vehicle creator Map terein editor Placable water (puddles, waterfalls/ rivvers) Map effects (day/night, rain/sun/snow) More playlists in MP Longer campaign (or just more eventfull) Ability to be able to play as something other that a spartan ( maby an elite, a brute e.t.c) Ability to chose a faction to play as in the campaign (covie/UNSC/ Forerunner (3 seperate campaigns) Weapon attachments/skins Ghillie suites (instead of/as well as active cammo) in-game clan/group join (an actual official clan base in the game instead of just changing the servise tags and emblems) + tester maps a combination of EXP and cR (EXP is used to rank up and you earn a cirtaian amout per game performance and cR is like a paypackage, its not used to rank up but you still earn the according to performance, other wise a noob earning 50 cR a game can still rank up to inherictor EVENTUALY where as with EXP he/she wont.) better and new assassination animations new weapons improved turrets improved maps (with gauze hogs) i do have alot more i just cant think of them ATM please leave your opinions, i wont reply for the next 2 days as i am away but in that time i would expect alot of coments PLEASE KEEP THIS ALIVE, I WOULD LOVE 343 TO SEE THIS. Thanks this did take me about 1/2 an hour so please make as much effort leaving comments (and i know that many of you have spent like 2-3 hour writting similar things, so dont compare me please)

This would be a pretty sick assination animation: assassin takes off enemies helmet, punches (right/left hook, uppercut?) the enemy in the face, the enemie crawls back, assassin THROWS the combat knife at the enemies head at the same time as walking towards him, the enemy dies, the assassin pulls the kinfe from the head of trhe dead player. this would also put into perspective that a spartan knows he is very vunerable without a helmet....and it would also make a badass screenshot. =P
  21. nice idea, but wouldnt a spartan crush the wheels? i mean the UNSC military vehicles are specialy made to allow a spartan to be able to sit in in without having problems. Where as a civi' vehicle would not have such systems in place, the spartan would just fall through the floor.... Although that would be a funny IWHBYD quote: "Hey! Dude! I just sat in a civi's car and just fell straight through the floor!!!! Hey look follow me!!!" *takes player to car with hole in floor* "Look! its awesome!!!!" epic lols

  23. nah the whole new armour looks brilliant. Although they could improve on the helmet design... Anyway, bulky is good!!!!! why do you think everyone has the huge security shoulders in reach? 'cause they look bad-ass!!!!
  24. here's a list: make terrain, well for this you'd have to have a pre-forge menu to chose the terain type, style and height water, same as above (although could be put into the forge game itself as a type of 'Paint' tool) gravity, same as above hidden items skulls etc., in the forge game there would have to be an extra menu to add (maybe titled 'Bonuses' ) where you can add into the environment hidden skulls, weapon caches and maybe an extra bomb or flag. time of day, a pre-forge menu to chose the terain type, style and height effects as fire, extra menu in the game to chose fire/ice/snow/ash placement. this would have to be Incorporated into game play. edit the transparency of an object, extra on the 'Advanced' edit object menues this would be good for the bonus items make your own objects , ​Compleately separated game type (maybe called 'Object Editor' or 'Object Creator') this would have to use a type of 'Lego' style building blocks to make an object or even 'gluing' objects together (such as a 'large bridge' and a 'brace' to make a singular object) make your own vehicles again similar to the above but more like the Armory. like making a ride-able falcon ( (this is a Mod)) or a falcon with rocket hod turrets instead of machine gun turrets (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25H20tI7_z8&feature=related(again a Mod)) although this would have to be brought into game play with care as it could change the game completely unless the changes were only colours / skins. This could also cause lagg as the game would have to load a custom skin to the vehicle.) (I claim no ownership of the videos and i would not modify such a brilliant game, i simply stumbled across this and decided that it was a good idea) hope you like this.
