However, if you look at the announcement: That statement brings out two points, he was a great influence around the forums and he got the community involved and interactive. He wrote the game reviews before MoM, and he also held a few playdates himself. Still, I think it is disrespectful to say that his MoM wasn't as meaningful.

How can you justify saying that the last few MoMs have been a couple of lines and that we've lowered our standards? P34nut earned his month through his hard work with news. JXZAW earned his MoM award for doing an excellent job helping out the art department. To say that we are scraping at the bottom of the barrel discredits what these members have done and is disrespectful. Next. The moderators did have a few options to choose from, but just because we went with VI it does not discredit what these members have done. They will receive their recognition soon enough. Saying that we are lying to cover our indecisiveness is just flat out ignorant. If you want to male claims like that then go ahead. But seriously, don't demonize the staff because of an assumption you are making. We are not covering anything. We have been honest 100%.
