  1. Fire up Halo Wars, watch the video "Monsters" and we'll see how unrealistic it seems then.
  2. I know! The flood has a lot of potential to be fresh and exiting! It's like the Mythic Dawn in TES, you can't have eliminated the entire threat by simply trying to hunt every one of them down. They are still out there...they will return, and their answer is at hand.
  3. It is relevant because, other than being able to switch weapons and having a longer lunge range, the sword is basically another version of the flag. They could allow you to dual a non-buffed magnum or PP with it to help defend yourself from a distance. The dual could nerf the pistol slightly if it makes anyone feel better, I just think simple mechanics like this can easily be balanced out. I just think it's a shame to keep out a feature that can be done IRL when it is easy to balance. Not so impractical and useless when you need to cross that hallway with someone waiting for you to pop out.
  4. Only if you had a Grenade Launcher Falcon. In MP, it was because the pilot's gun was so OP. See, if the pilot has any guns at all, they have the best. If they have none, then the gunners have the best. A quick glance at RL shows this is almost always the case. Even in Halo. For example: The Hornet gave the pilot weapon control so they had some badass guns. The riders had to use whatever they had, be it Splazer or Magnum. The falcon takes the pilot's weapon control away but gives the gunners access to some badass machine-gun turrets. Therefore, if the gunners have access to vehicular weapons, the pilot probably wont have access to any. Unless it is the same weapon the gunners have access to. (I would have loved for the falcon to let the pilot control a chin-mounted version of the side guns so passengers weren't a necessity.)
  5. Ah, time to move to Kansas City for Google Fiber! Thinking about it, If we do stay on the same disc format, Campaign, SO, and Multiplayer would have to be on separate discs.
  6. Ah, that sounds cool. If you want a more complex and lasting system, yours is the way to go, but if they go the simple path, they might consider going my way. What if there was a perk that lets you keep sprinting when you get shot? So you don't get slowed down at that last second and die. Now, I know that's to keep runners from being wimpy, but it could help in some real tight situations.
  7. I believe my new address is black listed due to a previous tenant's overdue internet bill...which sucks since all companies deny me their services until I can get the owner to fix the problem.

  8. Being unable to get those few last perks would kill me. Halo cannot go down that path, I hated it when Skyrim did it until recently, and I hate it when any other game does it. Perhaps they could keep it as is, but instead of having two categories of packages, just let you use any combo of two?
  9. As I said, why did the flag gain a weapon if that's the case?
  10. That's just due to the crazy amount of enemies. A super-fast connection is about all that can help.
  11. Any aerial vehicle always gives the pilot access to the better weapons while the gunners are for support. That's how it always goes.
  12. Flood that tries to trick you by using UNSC gunfire to draw attention to an area. Right as you see nothing is there, a classic Flood version of Halo 4's first Knight encounter ensues...
  13. I think Halo 5 would be coming out on a next gen system with discs that can hold an even larger capacity. Multi-disc games usually happen for FF and games that need extra space for their innovations and improvements.
  14. They could revolutionize them a bit. Like a sprinting assassination that's quicker.
  15. Just because it is a OHK does not make it pointless. Why do we have a Flagnum if that's the case? I think enabling only pistols with a sword would be a good and balanced way to go about it. Though, not powered-up pistols like the Flagnum has.
  16. Recruiting for a clan is hellacious work...

  17. Green 343, Guilty Spark, and the grunt on the right. All wrong.
  18. As a long time Halo fan, I never stopped to think whether they were good or bad, I just played it and enjoyed the hell out of the experience.
  19. Hey, and this one doesn't offer opinions, just facts...cool.
  20. I was a bit sad at first too. And I'm a casual gamer. But like I said, Jelly isn't the only good thing to ever happen to peanut butter, so MLG might not be the only good competitive avenue for Halo. Remember people, things can turn out good or bad. Don't ever fully believe one or the other, remain open to any possibilities.
  21. I like Palmer. She has many possibilities for expansion alongside the Chief in Halo 5. :3
  22. MLG never was the sole embodiment of competition. Like Twin said, they obviously used Halo to become profitable and widespread. Now, they aren't all bad. They promoted competition among gamers. But to be honest, all MLG is is a company full of skillful gamers. There are plenty of other companies just like it. MLG isn't the only organization out there that can be good for Halo. It's like assuming that Jelly is the only good thing for a Peanut Butter Sandwich. It's the most widespread (pun unintended) and known thing to add, but there are other good things to add. Some are even better. You just have to find them.
  23. I break it off with my gf, she wants to "come over" this weekend. Although I don't like to take advantage of people, this just proves how awesome Khajiit Ninjas can be. c:

  24. I'd like it if you could do a sprinting assassination. One where you hit them while sprinting and just jump on their back, tripping them, and stomp their head in. It'd be quicker and would let you keep running.
