  1. I've played 28 games and not once has ragnarok OR exile come up for vote. Something is seriously wrong there.
  2. So 343 recently updated the BTB playlist, put in complex, and added slayer pro. BUT THEY TOOK OUT RAGNAROK AND EXILE! WTF is this!???!!!? Those were the only maps that made the playlist worth playing! Now all I ever get is vortex, meltdown, and settler, three of the worst maps of any halo game! I'm completely done. I was gonna give 343 a chance to fix it but they ****** it up even more. Time to play reach again.
  3. Maybe we could just edit weapons, barricades, crates, and stuff like that, that way there wouldn't be to much of a problem for the physics engine trying to move the AI around the forged objects.
  4. This is halo not skyrim, the 2 melee weapons we have are more than enough. Remember halo takes place 500 years in the future...
  5. I would like to see the halo 3 magnum return, but with a higher rate of fire. The ability to look through the scope on a pistol in ridiculous, pistols are sidearms and should not be capable of engaging a rifle at mid to long range with even a small chance of winning.
  6. I think we need a game called Floodfight, a coop mode sort of like firefight except with tons of flood. They could make 2 or 3 flood themed maps where flood matter is growing all over the place, infection forms pop out if random holes, and combat and carrier forms emerge from dark tunnels. Weapons could be placed around the map (possible forgeable) with limited ammo and the objective would be to survive until you and your friends are rescued. 1 life only (can be changed in custom options). They could have a Covenant spacecraft map, a UNSC bunker/base map, and a grave mind map where you are literally trapped inside a grave mind.
  7. I would LOVE, absolutely LOVE to see Firefight and a "Floodfight" game mode in halo 5. There could be special flood maps that are super scary (similar to the mission cortana in halo 3) with flood growth all over the place, fog, random popcorn forms, etc, and finite weapons scattered around the map, making you conserve your ammo while awaiting rescue. Firefight could also be updated to where you could call in ordinance, and I'm not talking sniper rifles, I'm talking tanks, falcons, missile strikes, marine squads, etc. The processing power of the next gen xbox should allow for massive 10 player firefight games on HUGE maps with hundreds of enemies at a time.
  8. There needs to be a custom game option to enable elites or something, as well as spartan vs elite gametypes like invasion in halo reach.
  9. I couldn't care less what other weapons are in the game as long as they bring back plasma rifles, spikers, SMGs, and duel wielding!
  10. The halo reach scorpion with the splash damage of the halo 4 scorpion. Halo 4s tank is to slow and it's projectiles are even slower.
  11. They shouldn't have given the flood the claw arm. It would have been WAY cooler if they just attacked by ripping at you with their disfigured hands. That way they could carry weapons to. I also don't understand how the flood can have active camo...? Doesn't that rely on stealthed surfaces that can bend light? Pretty sure flood matter doesn't do that. Lol
  12. It destroys vertically in all maps, and makes positioning nearly useless. There's no point in controlling access points to the high ground if the other team can just come soaring in from above...
  13. Not even a question. Mantels approach is one of the most advanced forerunner warships ever created. It is in excess of 22km in length and probably has weapons inconceivable to either the UNSC or the covenant. Not to mention the forerunners probably had super luminal warheads that could be teleported through slipspace INSIDE the enemy target...
  14. I love how the only forge map 343 puts in the playlist is there own map settler, which is completely unbalanced and boring. I literally dashboard EVERY time this map is voted for. There are so many amazing community BTB maps out there like big freeze and axiom which are much more deserving.
  15. I think flood should be made more like it was in reach. Zombies have full health but no shields, making them vulnerable to head shots. I mean if the flood can use thruster pack (which is super OP in flood) than we should be able to kill them at range. Their should also be gametypes which utilize assault rifle starts.
  16. The last 3 ranks is halo reach were in increments of 4mil credits. Every large scale cut scene explosion (in campaign and spartan ops) looks like complete crap. The ships just fall apart and a bunch of little prices of grasslike stuff fly off. The vehicles are worthless because of the plasma pistol and plasma nades. The mantis is for batches. You cannot call the last mission "space combat" at all. All you do is fly through unrealistic doors and **** and blow up some defenseless targets. Reach had actually combat where you engaged in dog fights, shot down gunships, etc. The UI does not show parties. What I mean by that is, in reach, when you got a MM game you could scroll through everyone's GTs and it would tell you who is in a party with who. That allowed you to tell how coordinated the other team was. Halo 4 does NOT do this whatsoever! The DMR took skill to use in reach, you had to pace you shots to kill someone. All you have to do in H4 is spam. If they had just given us an actual forge world the lack of invasion compatible vanilla maps would not be a problem. But no. They give us a bunch of small ugly pallets with no forgave terrain. And forge island does not count since its just flat ugly islands.

No specialization 7. A better (marginally) ranking system 8. No join in progress 9. A UI that shows who is in a party 10. A real campaign 11. Realistic large scale explosions (halo 4s look like confetti) 12. Brutes 14. No boltshot 15. Elites in multiplayer 16. Invasion 17. Assault 18. Space combat 19. Back jumping 20. No OP DMR
  18. There is no one excepting hackers in any halo game with a KD higher that 17. The reach banshee was a POWER vehicle. It was deadly in the right hands. There is not a single vehicle in halo 4 that allows a team to control a map. Sadly everything has been nerfed to the point of uselessness.

  20. The hyper rifle wouldn't be a loadout weapon but rather a rare power weapon. As for the anti vehicle rockets, those would also be fairly rare, only placed on maps where there are a lot of power vehicles in order to counteract them.

Here are some ideas i dreamed up for halo 5 Halo 5 weapons and vehicles: UNSC Vehicles: -Warthog •Gauss •Rocket •Chain Gun -Mongoose -Scorpion -Mantis -Viper (Light assault aircraft) •Equipped with heat seeking missiles and light machine gun •Highly maneuverable (on the level of the banshee), weak armor -Hornet -Falcon • Assault (has a front mounted chain gun which can be controlled by the pilot as well as two .50 cal door guns, can carry 2 passengers who can shoot their personal weapons) • Light (door guns only, can carry 2 passengers who can shoot their personal weapons) -Pelican (Heavy Transport aircraft) •Pilot controlled forward heavy auto cannon • equipped with 2 .50 caliber door guns on back. Covenant Weapons: -Plasma Pistol -Plasma Rifle -Storm Rifle -Needler -Needle Rifle -Covenant Carbine -Assault Carbine • 5 shot kill, fires particle beam with extreme accuracy at extreme range • low rate of fire -Beam Rifle -Concussion rifle -Fuel Rod Cannon -Plasma Launcher • identical to the one in reach but with a longer range -Energy Sword -Plasma Grenade Covenant Vehicles: -Ghost (reach version) -Banshee (reach version) -Wraith -Revenant -Spectre • holds 2 passengers, 1 gunner, 1 driver • equipped with 1 dual barreled plasma cannon, the same as that of the banshee -Phantom (Heavy troop transport) • equipped with 1 forward rapid fire concussion cannon which is controlled by the pilot, as well as 2 door mounted light plasma cannons • Capable of carrying 8 personnel who can fire their personnel weapons •Contains 2 small arms crates in cargo area Turrets: -Plasma turret Emplacements: -Plasma cannon shade •Identical to the one in reach but with higher projectile speeds -Fuel rod shade • like the ones in the reach campaign • Firing homing fuel rods rounds that tracks land and air vehicles Brute Weapons: -Spiker -Brute shot -Mauler -Brute plasma rifle (halo 2 version) -Gravity hammer -Napalm grenades (halo 3 version) -Spike grenades Brute vehicles: -Chopper Armor abilities: -Jetpack -Thruster pack (buffed h4 version) -Active Camo -Evade -Berserk • allows users a brief burst of extreme speed once their shields are removed (like the h2/h3 brutes) -Regen Field -Stability • allows player to remain scoped in while taking fire -Thermal • shows players and vehicles in bright red/white, terrain is darker blue. • Residual heat signatures will reveal enemies hiding around corners by slightly brightening the air next to the corner (YOU CANNOT SEE THROUGH WALLS) Equipment: -Anti vehicle Mine •Fits into a slot on your HUD next to the grenade slots, destroys warthogs in one hit as well as personnel -Bubble shield •remains active until destroyed -EMP field •Immobilizes vehicles and SLOWY drains shields within a 20m radius You may notice that i left out forerunner weapons and vehicles, that is because (in my opinion) the forerunners are utterly boring and annoying to fight. I would love to see the brutes return as a sort of pirate like rouge faction in halo 5, possibly attempting to invade and take control of a weakened Sanghelios which we must defend alongside the arbiter. In addition, many of the vehicles i listed are only plausible if used in a 16 vs 16 or 32 vs 32 playlist (such as the pelican and phantom) which will hopefully be possible with the processing power of the next gen xbox.

  23. dont know about that one. A vehicle that uses jetpack???!!! i beleive we call those aircraft, ie banshee, hornet, falcon...
