I honestly want to know if the OP still plays the Classic Playlist as much as he did when it was first released or at least when he posted this. I do not. I find it to be a great playlist for having some non-frustrating fun. However, I find myself going for MLG now.

This would be such a great thing for Halo Wars and expanding the community further. It really truly needs that.

People like YOU piss me off. You think because of a number over 0.1 that is isn't just quite dead yet. Have you been around since Halo 2? Didn't think so. Halo use to dominate consoles, and use to have a much bigger number of players than just 150,000. You pathetic poser. Go back to Call of Duty now?

I would be happy with that. I'm not a fan of what my eyes are seeing in Halo 4. It looks almost like it belongs to some cartoon due too the graphics, but that doesn't mean it's bad. In my opinion, if I we're 343i I would not go through a lot of trouble to put up a fake trailer, and even go as far enough to make everyone believe that Halo 4 was coming. Both are real; the trailer and game.

Yes. I played it all the time. I was one of the few who got passed a 45, trying to get my 50 but the population was too low where I coudnt find too many matches at that level.

You say that as of today but tomorrow is a new day. We can all look back when Halo 3 is exactly 10 years of age and say "I remember that forum post I made and this guy said I would regret saying that Halo 3 has pretty good graphics." Actually... Maybe you won't say that. Anyways, my point is made. In ten years we can all see with a different eye. However, Halo 3 is generally new.

Hopefully your talking about ODST. I think both Halo 3 + ODST are great games. I've just gotten used to people harping on ODST.

Most of us who visit these forums have our little frustrations with Halo Wars. That's completely understandable. I see most of us getting over out doubts of Halo Wars and just play it anyways. Why? It's a freaking awesome game and everyone should see it the way we HW's players do! Ensemble Studios recently shut down because too few of players and lack of online and XBL community as well as sales, we all basically took down the game. Plenty of RTS players choose PC over the Xbox titles. Can we blame them? Just by you reading this, you may want a Halo Wars 2. Am I correct? We will probably NEVER get a Halo Wars 2 because the original creator has been shut down for reasons listed above. Lack of overall community. As much as us HW fans would LOVE a second addition to the series, I am afraid we won't see another title. What I'd like to end with is this: Enjoy Halo Wars while you still can. I tend to play on a monthly basis and each time I log on for a few games, I see that the HW's play count is getting fewer every month. So to all you hardcore Halo Wars fans: Just enjoy the first title while you still can!

The things that you feel frustrated about is what a lot of us feel frustrated about, no doubt. Deathmatch is (I feel,) a great playlist for people who are looking for those who don't quit and don't have to worry about hour long games. Of course, we still run into every so often games that never end, but that's very lowly likely in Deathmatch. It's also very unlikely to have people quit at the very start of the game in this playlist as well. I must warn you though; If you aren't a skilled Halo Wars player, you may need to get reacquainted with some high strategy techniques before playing in the Deathmatch playlist.

With so many different types of rushing, you can't just put a label of Alliance VS Horde (or more Halo appropriate,) UNSC and Covy. I see that you have made plenty of valid points and several great shut-downs for rushing but I feel like you simply can't label the game with THIS vs THAT side. It just can't be done so easily. However, with all the valid points you have made, I think some of the things listed are possible and could be done even if you are just picking up Halo Wars for a few times.

After the release of Starcraft 2, I'd like to see more elements of the Starcraft 2 game sort of cheated along into Halo Wars 2 (which could never happen.) I also want to see a much better graphics system. I don't want to have the chance to have my friends question "Is that N64 game?" As you can see, we just need the same Halo Wars, but with further elements added AND better graphics. Lot better.

I found Halo 3 in it's prime to be quite frustrating yet enjoyable. I sort of played it as a job more than a hobby. I had a website which I would post all the 50s I had achieved and sold many of them. To this day I still look at back and wish I would have just played as a hobby rather than for a job. However, I find myself doing the same thing with Halo 3 except today I don't sell the accounts. I just keep them for remembrance.

As long as I get my BR back, and my 1- 50 ranking system back then I will be happy.

The game itself feels quite dead which is something I love. I enjoy walking the quite streets. The music added to the perfect feeling of solitude. The video truly makes me want to go play some ODST. Good find.
