I didn't bother to quote, your post was too long. There will be no power weapon spawns on maps. It will only be provided by ordinance drop. So weapons like the sniper, launcher, rail gun, etc will all only be obtainable by drop. Now, there is a weapon that I am not sure about. The shotgun and/or scattershot. These could be classified as normal ordinance, and heavy ordinance. Mostly because they are a beast in at close range. However, they are useless at anything past mid range. So whether the shotgun and/or scattershot will be dropped or spawned, I guess is up to 343. EDIT: Just read the post on the bulletin. I guess that means weapons like the launcher, rail gun, and sniper will be spawned after all, and shotgun and scattershot will be dropped.

Well, while I do somewhat agree on it's aesthetics, just remember they took a wide range of guns, and recorded the sound for the game. So, can't really complain in that field, as it sounds real. But I'm not disagreeing with you, it's too bulky, and too many unnecessary add ons.

Well, I see a good debate, finally. First off, matchmaking will be selected by finding those in your skill level, like halo 3. So if you are level 1 recruit, you will have no problem, as you'll be paired in 1- maybe 10. Just like if you were say level 9 warrent officer grade 1, you wouldn't be paired with a level 48 Forerunner. So skill gaps are definitely not an issue.
