I simply do not think it would be a very good idea to make the katana into a weapon. It should simply stay as an unlockable armor piece, as it was and should be. I mean come on, it's halo, not... Mortal kombat.

Yes... This cleared up lots. I've really been wondering if we had to pay for each new Spartan ops mission. I'm very glad we don't need to, as it seems really fun but I wouldn't want to pay for it. Thank you for this info, john!

Even at half or even a quarter of the normal projectile size, though, it will only take a single body shot to score a kill, not to mention, it would wreak havoc among vehicles.

At the moment, I'm am striving for multiple awards including... Nice guy, funny guy, quality posts and jester's marvin.... Also twams pizza! As far as I know, these decisions were made based off of the opinions of the waypoint forums, and none other than our forums. Me, being one of the ones wanting the removal of these maps. Pinnacle was a nightmare for spawn killing, and I could say reletively the same for uncaged. These maps were both unfair for certain teams, which is what led to their disposal. Also, whether you and some others like it or not, they will most likely be not making a return. This was what the masses wanted, and it will stay that way. -
I agree with these two. I would have written a wall of text covering why, but they covered everything. It simply would not be right for halo.

you know what is the most ignored weapon, I have noticed? The plasma rifle. People never use it! Like how many times have you seen a player wielding a plasma rifle outside elite slayer. I like the plasma rifle, so this annoys me... It's a great weapon. -
Because of the enemy quantity in doubles, if you do it yourself, it can be recorded by the servers as commendation and credit boosting. Not sure why, but... You should discuss this issue on waypoint official forums, this is the community. Nevertheless, I hope I gave you some useful info...
