Is it just me or did we go from discussing how people shouldn't hate on a game which isn't out yet to having people moan what's good/bad from what they've seen. Either that or I'm crazy as half the posts is just back and forward posts saying the same thing in majority of the threads which is borrrrrrrring Do agree with the OP so cheers for stating wat needed to be said!

Reps will only be there for support, that's if you have any at the launch which I doubt seeing there's far to many stores across the world for them to be at all the launches. but maybe the main stores will have one but again these are all things dealt with by the store and not 343i. I suggest you message your local store and find out more info and see what they have planned, and with regards to your email you sent Microsoft they'll happily pass your message onto them and reply but that's Microsoft giving you the support that's expected from a big brand and making sure all customers get a reply stating the best route to take, whether they do that is up to them and if they go ahead and send a mail out it will again be very hard for 343i to follow it up seeing there's hundreds of messages sent daily, weekly or even on a hourly bases so imagine how long they'll be there for, more reason why Microsoft said they'll send them an email passing the message over instead of giving you a straight answer as not even they know and surely 343 will have more important things to do in time for launch. Best suggestion I have is to contact your local store as you not the only ones sending messages to 343 asking for such's thing if not similar!

I wouldn't mind if everyone started out with sprint and then able to replace it with an AA on map so that's a good idea which I think will work well, as for the Jump pack idea I'm not sure about that one to be honest... depends how much advantage it will gives you

Dude ill be honest and let you know I'm at work and cant be bothered to go look for all my old stats because you stated only dedicated people can post - Sorry don't mean to come across like a **** but didn't know you made the 343 forums and that we cant voice our opinion in ANY threads made so again who are you to tell people who can or can't post. If you want my GT's here they are below, should you have the time to go look at all my games from H2/H3 good luck going through them all as I've been a Halo fan from the start and playing from the start of H1 on LAN right the way through Active GT's Temper7antrum - H2 lL 4 lB - H3 L 4 to the B Y - H3 1. I think AA's should either be a pickup or not have any besides the standard over shield and Invis we all use too 2. Graphics will always get better with technology improving rapidly 3. the feel of the game will be different in every release, the loadouts there's not much that I see from the clips that we able to see but will have to wait and see on that one... Sounds do look good, they've used real life sounds for a lot of it 4. again with the loadouts its hard to say as we don't know much about it and how it will work so will have to see later... 5. Would prefer a ranking system similar to the ones they used in H2/H3 or one in-between the both, I did prefer how you ranked up during the H2 series and how you could still lose a game to not lose your rank, kinda sucked in H3 when you won tons of games and then outta the blue you would rank down after losing one 6. All i say is bring back the ranked game types and let those who don't want to play ranked matches have playlist's available to them which are more chilled, don't like how they changed it in Reach and I find that there's too many playlist's in the game than there is people playing the game

very disappointing tbh, only helps find glitches if they to release a beta which I'm sure we'll all come across when buying it.

Midnight launches are not down the 343, its up to those who release the game within your own country. As long as they follow the release date its up to you ''The Store Brand'' to choose whether to have a Midnight launch or not. If 343 had to do all the homework for the actual launch they'll be there forever don't you think. Hard enough making the game than it is launching it, and by them doing that they need to make sure all areas are developed to it's full potential first so as much as I would like to help you the best thing I'll suggest you do is contact your local game shop and speak with them about the launch and any ideas you can suggest and hopefully you'll come right

Exactly where I was coming from and glad people agree! To me Sprint was a fail and all these add-ones also changed the way Competitive games are being played. Yes I agree halo needs change and new things are the way forward so that can happen but why introduce something we've gotten on without in the previous titles? Just like people have said in H2/H3 you moved a lot faster than you do in Reach so again why change something to make us run even faster if it hasn't crippled the game in the past? the only reason I think people are moaning about things is because they adding in stuff we all not use too which again is cool seeing things need to change and new things need to come up but why add in something which clearly effects a side which a lot of us enjoy and playing halo on a competitive level. From what I can tell Map's where not specifically made to work around these abilities either and I find in most games you being fired at from someone who's across map which has sprinted/evaded towards your spawn, you then find yourself trying to back off or hide to regain your shields real quick before the next guy spots you but by that time you then have his opponent sneaking up from across map to easily get an angle in for the one shot which i find very frustrating. Yes i agree changing tactics could help, or throwing a nade or even shouting out to your team mates to assist you could do the job but again these are things that have effected the competitive side of the game and I see the community back then wanted so much to change with Reach that they forgot the way why Halo meant something in the competitive side, yes it still does but it's not the same from what we all use to and yes change is happening but we can only voice our own opinions and how we feel! I also found back then when people had asked for such things they either where playing too much COD at the time or wanted the game to be too much like it that when it came to Bungie trying those new ideas they took too much on board so hopefully 343 goes back to their own style and not follow the likes of Battlefield/COD to much, especially with the game being the same every title like mentioned. I guess at the time Bungie tried following the likes of COD seeing they became a massive competitive game since the likes of Call of Duty 4 and having perks completed a game like COD as it works but to then try it on a game like Halo I think they failed big time and did too much to change what Halo is all about, why they went down that road who knows, guess it's what the community wanted! Still don't understand why but that for another discussion on another day . All ill say is for us people who enjoy the competitive side of gaming these are things we will always voice and discuss what could be better or what made the game what it today! We all know change will come with every new release but that still doesn't mean they should change a lot to make the game different, if that's the case why not start a new game and keep Halo the way Halo is meant to be!

you do realize you asking for something which they can't promise and was a mistake back in H2? All those glitches back in the day where an accident and the developers never saw that coming so don't see that happening but will be cool to have back... ill admit that as for the gametype ideas, sticking them in Matchmaking could be fun but then again is this not why they have customs? A nifty add if they do it with matchmaking but again customs is where it began so why change that now when there's bigger fish to fry!

auh i miss these days and just chilling in customs messing around with super jumps.... would be a cool add but don't see that happening seeing it was a glitch and not something they meant to do even though it landed up being cool so I can't moan

agree with you both but am leading more towards the fact alot of people have left Halo due to Reach being a fail in many areas < again only my opinion as i know alot of people tend to enjoy it. As for the competitive side i defiantly think people left because of how reach turned out at the start, nowadays MLG's playlist does the job but still alot to fix/bring back from what we all use to and halo being halo. As for the armor abilities ill agree that they need to fall away, people tend to rely on them so much that they either forget the concept of the game or that there's weapons on map which can assist killing those who H*** up the ability to either Sprint away, evade or use armor lock when one shot. Pisses me off tbh as im sure alot of you are. Halo in the past was the game which you can get away after being spanked on and nowadays i feel kids take too much advantage of using them instead of having fun playing the game, even though a few months ago i wouldn't see Reach being a good competitive game at all because of the armor abilities, but now with MLG and ZB in place it's alot better and slowly people have come back from what I see. Again an opinion as I found myself playing reach and not enjoying it. Especially when a bk would sprint away or use armor lock when he's absolute or even one shot which he would of been dead ages ago if it was any other Halo we've played. So leaving on that note we didn't have these abilities in H1, H2 or H3 and majority of the people loved those titles so why have them now in H4? 343 we fine without having something to sit back on whilst it helps us get kills or gain an advantage, if not and you people don't agree that's cool just go play some COD. We all know how easy it is getting kills in that game

Explained that pretty well that even i sat here saying you mentioned all that i would of said and agree! This isnt something which cripples the game!!
