Thanks, that does explain it to some degree, but I was using the same internet connection, I havn't changed ISP's! Nothing has changed in my setup? Seriously, one day in Oct/November last year, this issue just started out of the blue? Can you explain that? I haven't upgraded anything, changed anything? Surely something must have changed within the servers or Xbox Live?

I understand that you and 343i are aware of the issue, but I wanted to bring to your attention that the issue is widespread and causing us Halo fans enormous grief. The issue lies with many ISP's and not just Slingshot. I am with Vodafone Australia, and I know of users using Crazy Johns Australia, Telstra Australia and New Zealand, Telus Canada to name a few. There are also several forums where literally 100's of people have posted the same issue, all with the same IP address. Yes, 343, if you bothered to investigate, the problem is with many ISP's, mostly in Australia and New Zealand. Telstra Australia, Vodafone Australia, Crazy Johns Australia to name but a few! And you may have had a PM 'mOnster,' but nothing has been posted here, so most of us are still being ignored!

So, here we are, day 4, and still nothing from 343i. Not even an acknowledgment! So, If by Friday, we have still heard nothing, I found a website that seems pretty helpful for explaining the best plan of action to take this matter further. Microsoft told me to post here, which I have done, and 343i are saying nothing! (As yet...) Hi everyone, thanks for your support! I have spoken with Xbox support, who eventually offered me free GOLD membership, which I refused. They also said, that the problem does not lie with them, and their resolution was to post my issue on this forum. So, hopefully, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I await a responce from someone at 343 who might be able to shed some light on this rather frustraiting issue...

It has become evident that ANYONE with the ip address starting with '101' cannot play Halo Reach, or Halo 3 matchmaking through no fault of their own. There is a technical issue with 343 and their servers and has been on-going since early November.

Hi there everyone, but mainly, my friendly 343 representatives. Myself, and countless other people, as I am sure you are aware, are having problems connection to halo reach and halo 3 matchmaking games. For me, I havne't been able to connect since early November. Now, I have done some research and testing etc, and it turns out that the issue is with IP addresses starting with 101. (Australia and NZ) All we get when we go to play is: 'the halo reach server is unavailable at this time, please try again later.' I would like to know if/.when we can expect an update, or fix to this problem, as there are 1000's of people, like me, unable to play! I await your response, thanks in advance! Joe

Hi there, me again... I started the whole port forwarding saga, but it turns out that my IP address does still start with 101 after all. So I join the ten's of thousands of people who can't play halo, due to having the wrong IP address... Can someone at 343 please let us know if there is a work-around for this... I thought about IP masking software, but I think this only works with your selected browser, so this is a no go. I have rang both my ISP's and both of them are un-willing or un-able to change the IP. So, where does this leave us all...? It leaves us in the hands of 343 industries, who are hopefully aware of this issue, and are also, hopefully, working on a fix? Can someone there please confirm that? I think you owe us that much... Thanks!

Hmmm, it appears my IP does still start with 101! Is there a know issue with this IP address, and if yes, is there a way to resolve the issue? If there is no way to resolve the issue, will there be an update or something that will enable us 101'ers to play sometime soon?
