  1. A veto system might be nice to bring back but I don't mind getting what I get either.
  2. @@Rayner Sutardja thanks for always submitting maps here over the years! this one looks good, reminds me of Meltdown from the aesthetics.
  3. Evil Geniuses won the Pro League Invitational at PAX East beating Team EnVyUs and qualifying for the HCS Pro League on April 24th. April 26th, FlamesworD of Optic Gaming retired from Halo eSports and became the head coach of his team.
  4. This sounds like a fun idea actually. Someone should check to see if this is possible to create in custom game settings or using trait zones in Forge or something.
  5. the popular theory is that since the Domain is almost like a live being created by the Precursors, it regenerated over the thousands of years since it was damaged by the Halos firing.
  6. Watch the HCS Pro League Invitational here!: https://www.twitch.tv/halo

  7. HCS Pro League Qualifier starts now!
  8. Would enjoy seeing some current screens from different angles within the map. Looks good from the overview though, thanks for posting it here
  9. Thanks for submitting here Ninja Samuri! This weekend we should be able to test maps out and the File Browser should help a lot.
  10. Great news: File Browser is up and running on Halo Waypoint! #Halo @heytred @Halo

  11. Ok well that was a waste. Hopefully only one recurring name shows up next round.
  12. This was such a good idea. SD should've hosted. Kudos Yoshi for coming up with this though.
  13. It'll give you the achievement upon completion because your console recognizes that you've done it but check online a Waypoint to see what it says you have done because you have to make sure you were connected to Xbox Live all the way through for it to count
  14. An interesting idea would be to have Firefight variants of maps the way they have Assault variants! Limited lives could be good and bad like I said but I'm glad they increased party size from what they showed, which was 5 people, to 8 people and allow for parties to travel together even if there's only one true victor in the group. I think Brutes may be a doable feat in the future but Flood are not appearing Halo 5 as stated a longg time before release. I've had fun with the unique encounters they've set up so far though. Another thing to note is that they've given power to the Phantom drop ships. You can't shoot the gunner out of its position on the Plasma Turret which forces you to take cover and is more realistic which I'm excited about.
  15. Not something to be playing alone, way more fun in a full team if you can get the 8 players. At first I thought it was bland but the fun you could have in a full party is almost endless as of now (while everything's new and all). I'm on the fence about unlimited lives although sometimes during Garage defense it seems quite necessary. If they gave us 2 maps instead of 1 I think that would make a difference. Glad they extended the beta by a day though.
  16. thank you @HaloArchive @erickyboo @Halo_Customs for joining the fun tonight!

  17. Like Halo 5 eSports and wanna catch up with recent roster changes and discuss?: http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/43999-halo-5-guardians-esports/

  18. With the ending of the Halo World Championships now well in our past and Counter-Logic Gaming crowned the victors there have been numerous roster changes in the Halo 5: Guardians pro circuit among many teams. Here are some changes reported from my favorite Halo eSports source, halo.esportspedia.com: March 22nd, following the loss to CLG in HWC, Cratos and Suspector left Team Allegiance. Commonly of Evil Geniuses left this same day and was replaced by Cratos who left ALG. March 23rd, Naded also leaves Allegiance leaving El Town to be the only member left. On April 5th, El Town also left Team Allegiance leaving them without a roster. Naded joined Optic Gaming this same day after a couple of its members left joining Halo 3 vets Ace (who didn't rejoin until April 9th) and Flamesword and competitive player since Halo 2: MaNiaC. April 9th, alongside Ace leaving Team Liquid to rejoin Optic Gaming, Huke and bubu dubu are released from Denial. They didn't leave they were released! The two best players! In wake of this, two days later on April 11th, Huke and bubu dubu join Cratos (previously from Allegiance) and Shooter (previously from a not-well-known team named Winterfox) to create a brand new team named Enigma6. April 14th, two members left Renegades and those spots have been filled by Commonly (previously from EG) and Penguin (previously from eLevate). This thread is for Halo 5: Guardians eSports news, roster changes, tournament and general discussions including favorite teams, players, etc. Personally I've been a fan of Snip3down, Roy, and Lunchbox since Halo 3 and that makes me a pretty big, but disappointed, EG fan. The next event will be a mini-tournament at PAX East on April 24th featuring: Evil Geniuses Snip3down Roy Lunchbox Suspector Team EnVyUs Mikwen Rayne iGotUrPistola eL TowN Enigma6 Huke bubu dubu Cratos Shooter Optic Gaming FlamesworD Ace Naded MaNiaC
