The idea of this being Reach is a very entertaining one. I don't see how Reach would tie in unless they made it tie in though. However he's definitely on a human-inhabited planet so wherever he is, they made it happen. This is definitely not the monument from the ending of Halo 3, that much can be concluded. It's one thing if they change it up and enhance what it looks like but they're not going to change the words on it or go from scrap metal to stone. I think there are two possibilities for this: 1) This is just one of Locke and Chief's encounters during the game acted out in live action where Locke finds Chief extremely beat. Or (more likely in my opinion): 2) Since this is from a trailer, this isn't exactly canon to the game and was created solely for trailer purposes. Every Halo does this dating back to Halo 3 live action trailers. And man those were good ones. This could just be foreshadowing what the situation would be like in the game.

Yoshi I like how Congress is going. You should PM Red to have "laws" passed and appeal them. Also for this poll you should add an "I said no" choice and an "I said I don't care" choice.

Guardian because of its layout. No one section of Guardian is 100% safe, there is a way to infiltrate and counter each part even if a team is set up. Foundation because it's a large circle. Lockout because I just really like Lockdown. It inspired Guardian and like its successor, there are no 100% safe spots which makes Oddball very dynamic on these maps. Classic Lockout and not Lockdown however because Halo 2: Anniversary's Lockdown has those icicles that are very annoying.

We have great members here representing all the groups on the USF Congress. I hope to see some positive changes out of this!

I prefer the battle rifle. Going shot for shot, it'll win and it feels more sturdy. I could see the advantages to both but BR has always been my boo.

In Halo 4 I would say no. It's supposed to be balanced where they each take 5 shots to kill but BRs would be better than DMRs at close range and vice versa. However the DMR in Halo 4 does not have that strong recoil and you can use it at the same range as the DMR along with the long range making it the optimal weapon in my opinion. In Halo 5 though they do a good job balancing it out giving the DMR enough recoil to hurt your close range accuracy with the weapon.

Without going into too much detail and copying Red's answer I'd say that Spartan II's were at a physical advantage because they're augmentations were more extreme. But it's for the same reason that they gave the Spartan III's a different augmentation. They were able to make more of them without losing any in the process and they were cheaper. It's exactly as you said so the augmentations for the III's don't change bone density and such because it's chemical and tuned to kick in under life threatening stress. This is also why they wear SPI armor instead of Mjolnir armor.
