Please 343 actually make the gameplay like Halo Reach! This looks awesome, along with the graphics but the gameplay is a huge no no!

Would you like to see these make a come back in Halo 5?
Jan replied to Ghost Recon's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
I am just going to reel off a bunch of points that I am certain that a lot of people would agree with (hopefully): - Halo Reach gameplay (blended with Halo 3); an actual respectable time to kill your opponent, the recoil from your weapons (I know I will get flamed for this, but the whole attraction that the Halo games gave off was the fact it was not real at all, and the controls were as you expected, this is what gave it's identity and singled itself from the likes of Call of Duty). This is also along with the actual Reach graphics that look bold and exciting, which is something that Halo 4 lacked. Everything seems to just blend into itself for Halo 4. Reach' gameplay was fun due to the exaggerated effects that reminded you that you were playing a cartoon game, Halo 4 seemed to serious and machine-like. - Customising the armour and actually being able to notice it during gameplay. - Remove the drop in-drop out concept when in games, that's one thing that really did bug me. - Load outs are unnecessary and gave an unfair advantage, because grenades such as 'sticky' were, in my eyes, seen as a powerful grenade and worth going out of your way to get one. Same with the smaller weapons like plasma pistol, which again was good for the 'noob combo' that I myself and probably a lot of people use too to kill your opponents quickly, and the fact that we are able to choose this as our first load out kind of defeats the point of finding the plasma pistol to give yourself that advantage. The armour effects don't bother me. - Although Halo 4's campaign was extremely fun and enjoyable, it was too short and I completed it in no time. P.S, please change Master Chief back to the default look, e.g. Halo 1, 2, 3 and Reach. -
K/D does actually mean something. Obviously depending on which game type you play.

I don't even look at the top medals once I've finished a game, I merely just look at my stats and what medals I have achieved and take no notice of the top medals. I obviously thought wrong when I thought others did the same, although I find that the top medals usually are shown from the top player of the game. I completely agree with this, Halo Reach is a running game from the other halos created by Bungie and they have always ensured that the gameplay suits the communities requests. Halo 4, on the other hand is just a perfect way to drain money from the audience due to the high reputation Bungie has created for Halo. It was specifically designed to entice Call of Duty (**** of Doody) so 343i can make more money. I only hope that Halo 5 will include much more of Halo 1 - Reach content.

I think Halo Reach covers the upgrades needed from Halo 3. Whilst Halo 3 was a spectacular, enjoyable game, it had it's flaws and there wasn't much change from Halo 2. However, I still play both 3 and reach now and again and they are both equally as fun.

They're appalling. They will most likely ban my IP because they get so upset when people tell them the truth. Halo 4 was a fail, and now they're trying to bring Halo Reach down with it. Firstly, their betraying system. I was consecutively killed 6 times by a single team player in the space of 2 minutes. 343 probably think it's just a mere 'coincidence'. Despite that, when I finally get annoyed about getting betrayed and I decide to kill them back, I instantly get booted. I wouldn't mind if I could betray them back, and neither of us get booted. But to boot me after repaying my teammate with a betrayal for getting team killed 6 times is just ridiculous. It would work so much easier if you just took friendly fire off in matchmaking. OR, having a maximum of 1 betrayal per day. I'm sure the majority of people reading this are agreeing with me here, but because of the 'ranks' on this site, people just decide to get a brown nose and ignore the situations. If you're one of those people, please don't comment... It just makes it clear that you're 343i substitute slaves.

The only thing I feel that 343i should do is revert their matchmaking ways back to previous Halo's. This is because back then it required skill and tactics, now this is a lot like COD and doesn't need hardly any shots to kill anyone. This, is most likely to make it a quicker tempo for the game. However, as a result of this I have gone back to Halo Reach.
-
I can see what you're saying, however the matchmaking isn't 'pathetic'. Yes, Halo 4's matchmaking doesn't out do Halo reach or Halo 3, but on the other hand it is only a very recent game. There are loads more problems that can be fixed and new content that we're waiting for. This is 343i first attempt at a very large audience for the Halo games. So, I suggest that you just be patient and try to enjoy what you have.

The majority of times you join an 'unfair match' is only because you're against a clan. More and more clans have accumulated since Halo 4's release. I suggest you join one too.

Arby and the chief, huge battle between each other. Both acquire power over their squad and then they both can battle each other.
