Why does it make no sense? You can zoom in w/an ar equipped just not scope in w/an ar & use it while staying scoped. If they changed that & made the bullet spread close to what the saw's spread is while scoped & left the default set wide bullet spread as it is when unscoped I'd be very happy. It's a bit unrealistic to not scope w/a full auto weapon. Heck, give us choices. Give us a red dot, a 3x or even a 4x scope. I'd be happy w/just a 3x zoom. The fact the dmr types have zoom & range is why mostly everyone use them & why it makes the many, many weapons available feel like there are just a few options & why playing halo feels so repetitious. They did the saw close to right now make the others right. Open the full autos up & stop forcing me to pick a weapon i don't want just so i don't get picked off. It sucks to have to use a dmr type just to have a fighting chance.

Get better? I typically out score everyone or are in the top 3. A few of you are acting like your shoe sizes & not your ages. I said this was for me. Respectfully. 343 did an outstanding job. Just the borefest dmr battles push me away from playing. Also I'd like to see smaller, non-circular maps. Sorry for the amp amp. Idk how that happened. I wasn't going to edit all of them out tho. How old are u cub? U act pretty immature. Leave it to the internet tough guys that have no intellectual ability to inject their own ignorant assertions into a thought through subject. Try reading & understanding first before adding your babble as I already answered your silly comment about the range distance of scoped full autos. Real life, modern full autos do have an effective range you know. Not long range (duhh) but a medium to moderate range. This is a future Sci fi based game too right? Weapons should be further along right? Stop being a butt.

There are a few things about halo 4 that I really don't care for that make me not want to play it. It is sad to me bc I've always been an avid halo fan since playing the 1st one online & the 2nd on Xbox live. This list are things that'd make my experience better & make me want to play. As of now, I only play for my friends. I know not everyone will agree which is fine. If you disagree please be respectful as this is a forum where we all get to voice our thots & opinions. 1st off, I am so bored of the dmr/br/light rifle/carbine duels. Everyone gets them (exaggerated for point) & it bores me to death to get into a type of "sniping" war w/these weapons. I miss the reach days where we could vote to play w/dmr's or not. It makes other guns like the machine type guns less viable as an option bc if you don't pick a range weapon then you will get picked off. Maybe make them not a load out option or make the machine type guns more accurate & more range. This repetition is the biggest reason i do not want to play halo 4 MP. Which brings me to my next point... Give the storm rifle/assault rifle/light suppressor more range & the ability to scope. It'd be nice to have more options in weapons. I personally like machine gun types but in halo they are not accurate, have a wide shot spread (good for close range but that limits it severely), no accuracy, no range & no scope for that range. It'd be nice to have the full auto guns be used more to break up the monotony of the monotone dmr/br use (& abuse). Like make the full autos have a scope & when scoped they fire more accurately w/a tighter shot spread & w/a lil range (having the accuracy drop off at a certain point makes sense to me). Then leave the current big shot spread for when not scoped. This would make me very happy. As for tweaks, the hard light shield has a momentary lag when used & dropped leaving the user open to attack for a second or two. I'd like to see this removed so the HL shield could be used for combos when in close combat or timing instances. As of now, IMHO, it's cool but not really worth using for my fast paced play style & the play style that is halo. For buffs I'd like to see the jet pack & thruster packs tweaked. The jet pack feels like it has no power & takes forever to launch. Isn't this Sci Fi? Where is the power & thrill? The jet pack should be able to jet pack a wart hog right? Make it more powerful & launch faster. The thruster pack too needs a buff. Why only one, short thrust before it has to recharge before usage again? Why not one long one that can be divided into two medium thrusts & then 3 short, small sidestep thrusts? These buffs would make my day as well as keep the game play fast. This is what, as a gamer, i am looking for. Thanks.

agreed bout no one on halo 3. the thing about halo is that w/every one they made, they always changed the gameplay mechanics. i rem how dissappointed i was w/the reduced grenade throw distance in halo 2 compared to halo 1. in halo 3 everyone complained about the br spread. rem the strafe snipe technique? bungie always changed & tweaked gameplay mechanics in all of them. so, for anyone to say that halo 2 & 3 were the same is false. they all had slightly different things going on which, to me was a hurdle at 1st but was a welcome one in that it was something new & fresh. i like fresh. so in that, for all the one's that like TU bc it goes back to the halo 2 or 3 days & then told people to accept change (<---- make sure you did that second part before you ***** at me), read it & weep bc you are a hypocrite. y'all tell others to accept change yet you wanna relive the old days. pahahahaha!

agreed buuuuttttttt...... i like the original game play of reach. i like reach. i've been playing halo since the beginning. everyone of them (minus wars). i played the 1st halo online thru the puter. then racked up lots of time on halo 2, 3 & odst & reach. i rem everyone was whining over the br spread lol. saying that reach wasn't all that good might be correct for you but for me, a veteran player, i like reach.

Again, I mean no disrespect but unless you work for 343 then u can't speak for them. Just my 2 cents. The crying foul thing makes no sense as I never approached that. I have nothing personal against you. I really don't see anything fruitful out of this exchange. Truce? I'm in town tonight & bout to play halo now. Hit me up online if you wanna carry this on. so you are giving me an english lesson now? my "structure" is far better than lots on here lol. not to mention i also work so i don't have time to write essays & include thesis statements. i'm sure you can forgive me. don't act all innocent. i've seen & read posts that weren't too "polite". don't sweat it. i'll crucify myself alongside the person i crucified. but no need to act innocent. as to the quotes i conceded. go check. but you're still not addressing my issue of lag. & no, you still haven't provided an answer.not that you can tho, unless you work for 343. i'm still at work so sorry for my quick, unstructured reply.

1st off, good find. i too found perspective in the quotes. 2nd, how have i not worded things properly? people obviosly have not read what i said thoroughly & then come back & wrongly say what they thot i meant but never said. i know this makes me look right & everyone else wrong so i'll humbly try to word things better. 3rd, the lack of respect i HAVE displayed is bc i have seen it not exemplied & shown to those that dislike it. i have seen some of your posts that were a bit, antagonistic. as well as others here. lets not act like it's not true. if what i say bothers some, you, then perhaps the medicine given isn't liked back by the ones administering it. i never said that YOU raged about AL'ers but we do know that others here have & i quoted them appropriately. i love the lock & pop & i love how AL alters the ebb & flow of combat. they have similar situations in sports called timeouts & gamechagers or "momentum shifts". 4th, i do like vanilla settings but i get my kilss either way. as long as the rules apply for both sides i am cool w/it. i have said this many times & why you keep pressing that i have an issue there is beyond me. i'd like to see 100% vanilla or TU. one way. i believe having both creates lag, i cited twinreaper for this. 5th, sarcasm noted. i wil TRY & check next time i go into matchmaking altho that is a moot point bc i have stated that several times. do you actually read what people type or just reply after a glance??? lol, that was my point.

ok that's not what i rem reading. if i knew where to get or look for a link i'd like to reread it as well & would post it in all honesty. i know from the wording they used when they announced the vote in the beginning of february that said they they would keep keep track of the choices/votes & they basically said they would either go all vanilla or all TU. at least, that is what i got from it. there is no TU in team slayer since the february vote. i am not sure where that came from that it still exists in team slayer but it doesn't. there is no TU option at all in team slayer. not sure where you got that i said that???

it was held thru february online matchmaking team slayer. 343 offered a choice offering between vanilla reach team slayer & 343's TU team slayer. only those 2 choices & a none of the above. they said they would keep track of all the choices & make an announcement at the end of february stating the winner. they then came back at the end of february saying they were keeping reach vanilla bc it won out in choices. they made these announcements much in the same way that they make the jackpot or update annoncements after you select matchmaking from the main selection screen. & i wasn't yelling due to the all caps in my previous post. i just wanted to empahsize but i wasn't trying to convey yelling or anything rude like that.

well, yeh, duhh. that's all i can reference lol. & yes, as i recall, it was a vote to determine the overall opinion of TU as that's why they used team slayer as the voting ground & what they said on the info screen explaining the vote & how & why it was being done. 343 kept vanilla slayer bc it lost, plain & simple. 343 did what they said they would do should TU lose. i've still got my vanilla slayer? what is the issue? not trying to be mean but come on. i've stated my issue several, several times. do i really need to repeat it again? twin reaper expalined to me that part of the increased lag is the bandwidth that the 2 rule sets ( vanilla & TU) take up for the same maps. here comes the broken record part but you still don't appear to get it so... TU lost the vote yet we still have it. HONESTLY I COULD CARE LESS AS LONG AS IT'S ALL 100% ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. EITHER ALL VANILLA OR ALL TU. WE ALL KNOW (OR CAN SAFELY ASSUME) TU IS GOING TO BE THE WAY WITH HALO 4. THERE WILL BE NO REACH VANILLA STYLE ON HALO 4. I AM COOL WITH THAT. BUT TO KEEP TU ALTHO IT LOST THE VOTE ( IF IT WON THEN ALL TU PLZ) SHOWS POOR SPORTSMANSHIP ON 343'S PART.

you talking to me or the OP? i find TU actually makes bad players good w/the lessening in bloom. 1 clip AR kills? rediculous. most people do dislike TU. it's a fact. it lost the vote, not on this forum site maybe but where it counted, on the actual game. i like the question about "why would 343i make their game something players don't want?" good question considering they are doing that now w/TU that lost the vote. I 110% agree w/your AL statement.

i didn't say it was wrong. try reading 1st, it works. like i'm a noob & i need to be told how to snipe lol. i just using it as an example to the people who like to crybaby about armor lock. like to point out that the one's crying & complaining have just as much that can be complained against them, in-game mechanics. i camo snipe, i sprint, i jetpack & rocket/needle/dmr. i do it all. but really, the AA i use is typically decided by the map that is chosen. want to get back at armor lockers? then use it against them. now that is hilarious! use what you want, idc. i guarantee i will get my kills. just give me an AR. i'm not bragging, i'm just saying a lot is being made over armor lock when it shouldn't be. it is an awesome AA if in a working team or if all of your team quits.

actually, i disagree. they took squad slayer & replaced it w/team slayer. big team is TU as well. if 343 woul've just went 100% either way then i wouldn't have my qualms. we won vanill yet still lost so why have a vote? mutliplayer is cluttered now. there is no pleasing everyone yet they are trying by giving us a mixed bag & a 50% rate of happiness. i'm a make a new post. i really don't wish to bash but i see a lot of self-proclaimed gods here.

i know you posted this a while back but in regards to the "most people don't like TU", how about the fact that it lost the vote to vanilla? 1st paragraph: those youtube raging fans complaining about armor lock are noobs that get beat by it & cry about it like it's soo unfair. grow a set. frankly i wish a lot of the cry babies would leave bc there are a lot of them. i like to mess w/them back, specially when i don't use armor lock, that they were even gheyer for using sprint to run away, jet pack to spray the needler & camo to camo snipe. i really don't care but i like to make them look like the little tools they are when they complain about something that they got beat by altho they were just as bad about using their ability to get kills. ok so you run away from getting killed, jetpack & needle or camo snipe yet you got beat by an armor locker. ohh lord, let's get the bucket of tears out. lmao.

bad opening statement. not everyone on the forums represents all the players (myself included) that plays halo. as for the players who heard from their sister's boyfriends mom's aunt's grandparent's blah-blah-blah, that is equally rediculous. i am quite displeased w/the TU period. what's even lamer tho is that 343 lost the vote against vanilla & yet forced TU down our throats by incorporating into every other venture a la super slayer & so on & so on. so the voting won us vanilla team slayer yet cost us all the other game types. yay. the majority (of players & not **** forum users) wanted vanilla, won the vote & yet we still lost. i'd be content if it was all or nothing either way to be honest. i can't wait for halo 4 bc hopefully 343 won't **** it up by switching things around rediculously. armor lock didn't need nerfing. i'll gladly contest anyone on this one. just bc you cry when you get beat down by an armor locker doesn't mean you & all the others gotta go cry about it. i can use all the abilties & get my kills just fine. all i need is an AR. i kill armor lockers too just fine by timing them & psyching them out. i hear tons of cry babies online all the time crying to others about the armor lockers but nothing about the other abilities & altho the camo, jet pack & sprint is just as **** & was used just as **** as the one's that are complaining about the armor lockers. give it up, you suck so all you can do is cry about it. it's there for you to use too bit i know, i know, you don't want to be a "lame armor lock user". hears a bucket for your tears. i think you sound rather trollish myself. glad the majority here likes TU altho it lost to players who play the game online. sorry you don't like dissenters. your loss.

I referred to theater in terms that redsrar meant, I.e. Getting team shot w/out seeing it. I check theater to see who all is firing at said person. Not to check for lag. I'm not asking for an impossible, perfect gaming experience. I am asking for a fair gaming experience. So far & from what others are saying too, this is not just me but on a large scale & the preference settings do not solve it. Thnx-

I searched in theater to see if I'm team shot. The stomach one sniper shot was done w/full health. I'm sure you mentioned prior damage just to have it said but it wasn't a part of what I described. These are big issues if it's not the same for all players. Why have rules if it wasn't?

Tu=noob. It's like playing against someone that uses plas pistol all the time. Yeh I get my kills w/ar or pistols but then I feel like a noob. I vote vanilla as well as well as a lot of other randoms. Tu hardly wins from what I see. As for the halo 2 & 3 reference of feel, I strongly disagree bc each ones feel changed. They all did so there was no consistency. Take the way the grenades were thrown for example. In 1 they would go far. In 2 they were merely lobbed. The feel always changed so to say Tu feels more like the other halos is laughable.

I know I have & I here a lot of other gamers also say they noticed it to. Setting your preference to good connection does not solve the issue. I live in America, play lots of American's, I have my Nat type open & I have great internet connection. Yet, I have noticed much more laggy games since 343 took over. I have witnessed 1 shot sniper kills in the stomach, 3 shot dmr kills (not Tu games) , someone standing straight up while armor locking & shotgun kills from way afar. What really bugs me is that i & others experience really great wins or great losses. nothing in the middle or average. Everthing is by steep margins. 343 needs to improve these issues before messing with tu's. sorry if this is a repost of any sort. If this is what I can expect then halo 4 in my eyes is going to suck online. Also, I have heard lots & lots & lots of these similar complaints from gamers that are friends & randoms. Both on my teams & opposing teams as well so it comes off genuine & sincere.
