  1. As much as I loved stealing the other teams elephant in Sandtrap and winning a game of BTB with style, this is the last thing im worried about in halo 4. Multi Bomb and CTF were so hectic on sandtrap with the elephant wars. Everyone would spawn and just start running as fast as they could to the elephants to either steal the other teams or get theirs back. They should come back in forge though, so that we have the option to remove them.
  2. I'd hope a lot more than 1 more 2 ideas make it or we may be in trouble
  3. It's not the size of the TV thats bugging me, I think its more the lag-time as well as the widescreen. Obviously the tube TV isnt widescreen but it wasnt much smaller than my HDTV. Its unbelievely frustrating how badly I snipe. I think I am getting used to the DMR but I have altered my playstyle so that I dont have to try and outsnipe people because no matter how bad they are I am always in trouble.
  4. Actually you boosted from level 41-45. Maybe if you would have admitted you boosted I would have respected you but instead you post yourself playing as a 48. Regardless if you can win games as a 45, you have some skills, even though you can match the same people you were playing as a 41. Look everyone had some sort of desire to cheat to gain levels. Dont lie and say you didnt cheat when there is evidence for the world to see that you did. Ill admit I played a 2-3 games with a modder on my team and I even boosted 1 or 2 levels. It happens.
  5. Also does anyone know if playing using an HDMI cable has any effect on this? Thats what I use now.
  6. A ranking system that you can only go up in shouldnt be called a ranking system, because your not getting ranked, you are getting points for simply playing more than others. Halo should have never gone to this system, this is what Call of duty does and thats how it should stay.
  7. There actually was health in halo 3. Idk about halo 2 but in halo 3 there was health. It just wasnt visible. You remember sometimes you could get killed by 1 grenade? That was because you had lost some health during that life, by having no shields and taking shots but surviving. I have tested this.
  8. To clear some things up here. First of all if you were a 48 post a link off of bungie of a game where you played as a 48. I find that very hard to believe that you got that 48 LEGIT. I reached a 43 in snipers and a 40 in slayer and if you want I can prove it to you. As for your post, I agree the ranks were more rewarding and desirable. Also you should have mentioned the range of levels people could match. I dont remember them all but I remember the last range of levels was from 36-50, meaning that if you had even 1 person on your team that was a 36 you could match people in that range. But if you were a 36 and you searched with low levels, you were more likely to match people in the 31-33 range, which gives you less exp for a win, but a better chance of winning seeing you are probably playing worse players.
  9. Okay but as you grow up you''ll realize its just a number in a game and that its something that you can get mad at for 10 minutes but should never affect your feeling outside the game for a long time. I know that when I was 13-14 years old and I did bad in a game of halo 2 and lost I would be furious. But think about it from the winning side, how good it felt when you won a real close game. Those intense emotions need to come back like they were in halo 2. This game is rated M anyways so looking back, I understand why 13 year olds shouldn't have been playing.
  10. Ever play Zomibie King on Zombie King's Lair?? It was a zombie map in halo 3 on rats nest. There was 1 starting zombie who had the most health and overshields as possible and moved as slow as possible. Real fun map.
  11. Really noone said this. Im disappointed Epic
  12. After reading someones post about whether bungie took the community ideas into consideration, I was curious as to whether or not 343i actually goes on sites like this and other halo sites and reads our ideas and discusses them with the rest of the company. If anyone knows anything about this I'd like to know if there is a process by which this is accomplished. Bungie's motto was "we make games we want to play" and after they made Reach, I think I can say that our interests in video games have changed a bit. Bungie was never interested in competitive gaming and refused for a long time to work with MLG. They shocked the world (at least I think) when they made the MLG playlist in Halo 3. Lets hope 343i listens to communities as well to make halo 4 be fun for everyone.
  13. Just bought halo 2 pc for my brother for his birthday. Played a few games. It runs pretty smoothly. I played with my wired 360 control and I definitely recommend buying it if you have vista or windows 7 (the game was like 13 bucks).
  14. . I think you may be right. Which is odd because they made it easier and its harder for me haha. Another thing is that I am now playing on a samsung 32 inch HDTV, while I played halo all my life on a tube tv in my brothers room. Over winter break I played a few games on that old tv and I did much better. I've noticed that its hard to switch from regular to HD for a FPS. My aim gets thrown off on the HDTV. I guess I just need to keep playing to get used to it.
  15. Anyone else have a problem sniping in Reach? Especially close range. I had no problem close range sniping in Halo 2 or 3 but its so different in Reach. Can anyone relate to this? I know it has to do with the DMR being able to counter it but I still play people and play with people that can snipe no problem.
  16. Nice job man. Ever try and make your own maps? With those skills you could really make a cool and original map if an idea came to you.
  17. Campaign felt brand new. Beat it on co-op with my brother and got all the skulls and terminals. Brought back memories. I was very impressed with 343's work on this game.
  18. Id suggest playing the newer games the first game is very repetitive and boring.
  19. AC2 is possibly my favorite storyline ever. Been following the hidden messages that the games have been hinting at since the end of AC1. A bit disappointed how AC Revelations didnt actually "reveal" what the deal is with Lucy but it was still a fantastic game. Cant wait to end it in AC3.
  20. A friend of mine down the road got it in 2002-2003 i believe. I think they got it as a christmas gift so they invited me over to play. We all became immersed in the campaign. Me my brother and my friend and his 2 brothers would constantly fight over who would get to play campaign. We got 4 controls and had a blast in multiplayer. I'll never forget when we finally got to the Maw and how many times we died trying to drive to the end. Simply unreal how good the game was for the time.

    MP Beta?

There was a halo 3 beta, and a halo reach beta. Im sure there will be a halo 4 beta.
  22. Doesnt feel quite the same. First of all its dark out, which changes visibility. The railings are made differently, and there are shortcut jumps that you could make in Lockout that cannot be done on Blackout. It is not an exact replica of Lockout, if thats what they were going for. It is not a terrible map, sorry if i made it sound like that, it just isnt lockout for me. MLG on Blackout isnt the same as MLG on lockout. Snipers on blackout was a fun gametype.
