  1. Because, guys, it's CAAAAANAAAAAAADAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~ *screams of fanatical sixteen year olds can be heard in the background* Okay that's out of my system......
  2. I ban Azaxx for not conforming to the Center for Disease Control's latest policy on Mayonnaise consumption.
  3. The game of course, but the story is ominous. All about the Chief eh? It would be an interesting plot direction to muse about his return on top of this new evil enemy.
  4. Oh look some more whining about the little things in Halo nobody has that much poopoo up their rear end about.
  5. Events after this, I think we'll definitely be heading over to installation 07, and perhaps Cortana won't "let him"? So it'll be like holding a toy over a kids head while he tries to reach it? Hmm. That's actually an idea. Taunt him with the answer. Basically; Master Chief learns about a war that had taken place on the seventh installation, it becomes a harrowing journey as all factions disturb him and Cortana grows rampant. This has an effect on his psyche when viewing the planet behind, leading to figuring out a greater force had shattered the ring.
  6. I think the Shrine is what keeps the tainted world Requiem (really, the outer shell is a quarantine zone at this point) separated from the rest of the galaxy and universe (definitely the universe) from being screwed to an oblivion. The very opening to its inside, a fail-safe secure gate flooded with white energy clouds (where the Chief entered obviously) is what keeps it all inside. If this is deactivated and/or the UNSC destroy its shell, the enemy will be released.
  7. Something... About this enemy smells of corruption, like it was never intended to be the way it is now and had a much less sinister look in the past. As if the remaining billions have succumbed to a rampancy of sorts.
  8. I also speculated on the UNSC Infinity's arrival being a ruse, it was never entirely the plan at all. Maybe a negotiation to settle on Requiem but the 343 duplicate has other plans for the shielded world.
  9. I predict Cortana, considering that freak out, to place a good number of missions only on Requiems land and water. She's an AI, so it'd be best not to piss her off at the especially wrongest ever time. For the actual story, the Chief has a bizarre physical ailment just randomly pop that causes him to hallucinate (such as back at Halo 3's beginning) Earth has a resonant connection to Requiem and this presents a problem, of course. If we need so badly in destroying the Forerunners worst kept secret since Halo (and that Prisoner of Charum Hakkor incident) how does history play out? In backwards. Requiem's no more and Earth falls dead. Master Chief suddenly flashes back to Epsilon Eridanis, trickling little secrets of his past.
  10. Cortana definitely changes for the worse quicker than we imagined. I liked the entire UNSC Infinity footage. XD
  11. The shrine must be a lampshaded tool that was never used during the ancient human wars. At least not in the sense of how it affected the human race. Imagine if this whole situation with "our sins" caused humans to devolve tenfold.
  12. Yeah let's see American flags shoot European flags, and European flags shooting American flags. We totally need people taking potshots at America or Canada over the headset. That will totally make Xbox Live more pleasant. Really. /sarcasm
  13. There's something about accountability and self control, to which is absent

  14. If the Precursors return it might not be their original form, if they do in fact come around at all, everyone would be screwed and it'd likely happen in Halo 6.
  15. I don't get the logic of hating to read, you read every time you're online. It's a context-sensitive statement in my opinion (okay I've probably come off ambiguous). There's some.... Interesting design patterns on the front of the UNSC Infinity....
  16. I'm going to have to settle for regular release. A certain someone in my life is being difficult and half of those additives to the deal is going to be available in different ways soon. So screw it.
  17. What if the Master Chief is passively connected to the Security Officer in Marathon?
  18. What if Cortana was using an exploit in John's armor to lampshade fatal physical issues? It was implied in official story details that he'll face physical problems associated with her lifespan.
  19. He should totally team up with the DooM Guy and Security Officer. Lol just kidding I know Halo 4 won't have that. If Cortana dies, Master Chief will force random ONI agents to become his best friends.
  20. I'm guessing those lookers will come in groups of fifty to seventy swarms? Hmm. Let's just hope they bring something new to the table and have some difficulty.
  21. These could easily be a polar opposite to the Flood, in fact I can guess their design implies Geologically effective defenses. Basically, they can use the land around them more effectively than the flood; and could render prey insane. Versus directly devouring flesh outside-inwards. I also assume they could have seamless possessing of host when angered enough?
  22. It reminds me of Marathon's Pfhor lookers, that creepy bug thing. The dog-like one no clue. But I wouldn't be surprised if a bipedal fighter was to appear. A lot like the Pfhor.
