  1. I'll look forward to the Youtube releases as well. Someone get in on that lol.
  2. "The end has come" I stopped reading after that.
  3. Master Chief is going through some difficult issues with himself, and not just Cortana. It's possible that the Didact had kept himself exclusive to John, which sort of explains the argument with Del Rio.
  4. It would unfortunately break the balance of fair limitations, what with running out of ammo and such. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad idea to have fist fighting but it'd be a secondary gametype all its own if you were enabled exaggerated fisticuff combat.
  5. I was thinking of something along the lines of galactic manipulation of nearby stars to use as weapons. But alright.
  6. I've also had a theory that Requiem is used to unleash or contain a worse abomination than Precursors could ever conceive? Okay maybe, maybe less likely. But it wouldn't be surprising in the least bit. Forerunners engineering their own version of the Flood or Precursors, sounds epic in theory.
  7. Good point, but like I said, Hype can be the worst sleep over experience ever.
  8. There's definitely a hidden purpose (maybe Requiem has a distinct weapon) for this one, I'd doubt they'd make it a boring location for us like Detla Halo. :/ Even if Delta Halo was beautiful, not much more interesting except for a gravemind.
  9. While it did bewilder me that it's fake, you have to admit. It's been fun. Also, we really should have crossed fingers since the beginning. Hype is like fortified Tobacco, makes you feel great but does a number to you.
  10. I found it fun with some believable aspects. I wouldn't be surprised if anything worse than a Gravemind stepped in. No not the Didact.
  11. Eh any event in the original trilogy has major influence over Reclaimer trilogy events. Personally I think whatever this "message" implies is an old beacon from Halo 2 that's simply uncommon.
  12. Honestly, that distress sounds more like Covenant attacking Earth in far earlier events than Forerunner. Good going on that "attempt"...
  13. I think this is going a similar route to Marathon Durandal storywise. Soldier and AI finds ominous planet (Like L'Howon in Durandal) alien race wants to get in your way, finds an elusive weapon to vanquish you (like the Trih Xeem/Early Nova). But there's one problem- a disgusting abomination escapes. But everybody gets screwed in the end and existence itself is a mind-blowing trip.
  14. Honestly, we "got the record amount" of threads in Halo 4 through repetitive posts, especially threads that mimic another one. It's not me to ruin any fun but damn. This'll get us in trouble some day.
  15. There's seriously too much flooding going on with these complaint threads, can't we pick up on reducing repetitive topics?
  16. I mean hijacked. The ships rain check is showing error from an unidentified entity within, or at least implied. According to the conversation.
  17. I don't understand how this thread is still titled 'Halo 4 Master Chief Death Theory' when he obviously doesn't die. That's bogus, and we should make a general random story theories thread for Halo Universe. So we can stop flooding with repetitive "information"....
  18. Basically the Infinity is being manipulated from the inside? It seems that way.
  19. I agree with Doctor, it seems like, if the reception of Halo 4, 5, and 6 get surreal; an "Inheritor Trilogy" might explain events in Halo 6 and stretch as far into Seven, Eight, and Nine! You can't stretch the events of Halo Five and Six up to the 2580's.
  20. At this point, the Didact might have any plan up his sleeve. He might not even care anymore about everyone's safety at all, after some point on.
  21. My idea is that Requiem affects humans in certain ways that no other forerunner superstructure (Halo fortress worlds, Shield World Dyson Spheres, duh) does. If Didact can psychologically reshape any nearby sentient, we'll be seeing Del Rio's source of authoritative-abuse. EDIT: You know what? It wouldn't be surprising if Didact's source of anger besides his wife, is in part his anticipation to "manipulate" anyone whilst being suspended in a Timeless Xankara, achieving a near-god level of possession. But to the why- wouldn't have the Didact used this back in the Forerunner-Flood and Human-Forerunner war? Likely not, that'd suck for plot progression.
  22. I think the Forerunner ship in Reach's ending has nothing to do with the mainline aspects of the Reclaimer trilogy. Humans gathered Forerunner technology for many projects, which could have lagged if it weren't for ONI's acquisition of the technology. It'd be pretty daft to leave such monumental hints towards an outcome. Halsey being alive at that time period was absolutely enough already.
  23. What made you even expect the Chief's death at around Halo 4? Good lord.
  24. Who really freaking believes that a human being isn't writing this? Anyone with basic tracking skills can find who does these. So I don't understand the point in calling it dumb. Stop ruining the fun for everybody!
  25. Spartan IV's have the advantages that a Spartan should typically have. As stated, the numbers are a part of its game. If you pay attention to the small details, Warrior Variants (Default?) appear to have large emphasis on crowd-safety. Helps when facing off against thousands of Sangheili and Prometheans.
