About Me
From Ontario, Canada, Carts has grown speaking french in a bilingual community. Around 4th grade he started to learn english.
Carts is a man that grew up with gamings evolution. At a young age he had his parents NES and SNES to play with. Around the age of 4 he and his brother recieved a N64 for Xmas and as gaming evolved so did Carts, right behind getting the new system from Xbox1 and Gamecube.
After playing Halo CE, Carts wanted to own Halo 2, as well as a new gaming experience called Xbox LIVE. With Halo 2 and online play, Carts was hooked, loved the game and all the many fun times. He also recieved the newly released Ipod Video around this time. After learning about podcasts, he decided to try them out. So he searched the iTunes store for a podcast of his favorite pass-time, Halo 2. He found Podtacular, the unofficial (and only at the time) Halo podcast. He started to listen and in the podcast, learned there was a forum, so he signed up.
At podtacular, Carts jumped right in the discussions and activities, he joined a Recreational clan called Podtacular Rec D (at the time there were 4 rec clans and 2 competitive clans as well as the Podtacular All-Stars that were the challange team). With time and dedication, Carts was promoted to the clan Overlord, watching over another 99 members as a mentor and a friend. As Podtaculars activity went down along with Halo 2, Carts did his best to keep the clan active (only ours and Rec E were). We had inter-clan matches between rec clans and kept them going strong.
With the highly anticipated release of Halo 3, Carts was the 2nd in command of the Friends of Friends clan (since clan support was removed). A lot of the original members started to leave for newer games, new experiences. In a short amount of time Carts felt Halo 3 just wasnt cutting it anymore, and was not anywhere in the same catagorie as Halo 2.
Following the CoD4 beta, Carts purchased the revolutioning shooter and was enjoying the fresh experience. As new games came out, there was more to explore.
To the release of Halo Reach, Carts played the beta and loved it, found it felt more "Halo" maybe it was the art, the no-bleedthrough melee, but he felt at home and loves the game. Even more now with the TU.
His personal life at the moment consist mostly of school work, he attends the University of Ottawa and studies in Biology. He has come keen to the idea of teaching in High Schools, and is already thinking of fun ideas to teach.
His other past times are mainly social activities with friends or with the girlfriend, or playing sports. He loves to golf and play hockey, street or ice.
