I'm more disappointed in the fact that the gameplay we got to watch was someone that wasnt that great... i wouldve loved to see some amazing kills and deaths. oh well. At least it still looks like Halo lol

Krinn3 started following HUD Reveals Power Weapon Locations , Entire Halo 4 Slayer Infinity Match In HD , Killcams? and 4 others

Meh. Like previously stated, final kill cams would be okay, but having one after every death would just tick me off. Using stealth would be pointless, might as well charge in. And dont tell me that camping would go away, play one round of CoD and tell me that kill cams got rid of camping. I just hope that these kill cams dont turn too many people away. 343's boldness is def. pushing some ppl away.

I agree. The elites are a huge part of the Halo series. the odds of them being completely taken out are extremely slim if not non-existent. it wouldnt make any since to have something that played a huge role in previous installments to suddenly be removed permanently. Hopefully elites are implemented in some new more interesting ways in the future.

whatever floats your boat man.

yeah, but i dont run around using the term "we" to describe spartans, like i am one of them. and i think i understand perfectly, you are lost in a little world of canon and games. Its cool to like playing as elites, i actually enjoy playing as them more, especially in reach, because they have cooler assassinations. But you are defending them to a point of almost worship. i am not being hypocritical, because i do not defend spartans as heavily as you do elites. I never said that spartans are better or cooler than elites, elites are actually much cooler than spartans (imo). I am a big fan of Halo, i find the games to be fun and challenging, but thats just it. Its a game. And i feel like you are taking the game and the canon to seriously. Your devotion is more of an obsession. I hope that elites can make it in as many areas of H4 as possible, as i know you do as well. But nonetheless, H4 will be a great game, even if elites arent in multiplayer. Just dont fall so far into the canon and fiction that you begin to believe it exists okay?

Do you just get up and wear an elite outfit all day? Do you just dress up as an elite. You are literally calling yourself a sanghelli. Really? What the heck man. You are one messed up dude. There's being a fan, and then there's being obsessed. You sir, fall into the latter. maybe you should go do something else for awhile, just to get your priorities straight. No, that last comment is not to be rude or mean, i am genuinely concerned for you. I do hope that you realize that halo is just a game, and that you will be able to straighten out your life so that it has purpose. Good luck good sir.

And yet again another thread has been born for people to vent about their not being elites in the multiplayer. As for the training, Im pretty sure no armed force sends a soldier out with a gun against their enemy and say "Good luck, you'll learn it as you go... hopefully". They have at least some training before combat, so spartan vs spartan training simulations makes sense. Also, this is a community forum, therefore differences in opinions are supposed to be encouraged, for it shows differing beliefs and forum diversity. If every felt the same, there would be no need for a forum like this. It's great that we all can debate about this, but honestly, there are a many threads over this exact kind of speculation, so lets try to group it all together by searching for these threads before posting a new one. I stopped using this forum for awhile because all that i ever saw on the front page was people raging about no elites. while thats mostly gone now, i see it isnt completely gone from the front The only thing i hope is that 343 will not stray from their intended course to please some of the community. Bioware did that with Mass Effect 3 with creating a new ending for the game, but i believe that 343 takes enough pride in their work to not be swayed because of a few disgruntled fans. Be strong 343, be strong. As for you Fal ' whatever, you are being quite irritating. You seem to show up anywhere elites are mentioned and are hell-bent on making sure everyone knows how you think that elites are superior and that you are more than upset at their removal from multiplayer. If you wish to comment, please keep it respectful. Calling someone's comment stupid is the farthest thing from respect, that is what is called "rude".

... Well i guess this picture is... AWESOME!!!!!

Lets just agree to disagree. i dont feel this argument going anywhere anytime soon. I wish the elites were in multiplayer, but they arent. and i am also sorry that you do not get to enjoy playing as them anymore. hopefully Halo wont lose too much of its fan base because of this.
-
I know spartans arent real, because its just a game. i dont see how my statement made me a hypocrite. If anyone here is a hypocrite, its you Fal ' Taralumee. You just judged two people on being closed minded even though you refused to accept Halo 1's multiplayer as legit because it was only a 4 player thing. Btw, did you get it for the computer? Because that had 16 player modes with no elites. Listen, I am disappointed that elites are not going to be in Halo 4, but thats not a reason to start panicking. if the elites not being in Halo 4 is hitting you this hard, then you need to take the game less seriously. I hope you won't be so close minded as to not by Halo 4 just because it doesnt have elites.
-
And would you please stop being so defensive? the elites dont have feelings cause they ARENT REAL. and im sorry if someone said something to offend you, but this debate has got to end. FYI, I dont think any clan is good. I feel like it just gives kids an excuse to keep playing games instead of focusing on more important things.

Youre not going to play H4 because of no elites? Really? Oh god forbid you try the game first before striking it down. So the elites arent in H4 multiplayer, is that really such a big deal? The entire game must be ruined because something as insignificant as a player skin was taken out of the game. Dont get me wrong, the elites are fun to play as, and in Reach they have the best (imo) assassinations, but they arent important enough for me to not play Halo 4. And about people delving deep into elite "religion and beliefs", what the heck. They aren't real, and the back story for them was made up in the canon. Its all FICTION, if you devoted more than a few hours reading about the lives of the elites, then you are wasting time. The books are fun to read, but shouldnt be studied like archaeologists over a new ruin. Why dont we all just try the game, play it for fun (since it is a game), and get over the fact that a character (who is still in the campaign and possibly other modes) wont be available in multiplayer.

And now i must resist the urge to bash my head against a wall to retain the excitement... failing... failing... FAILING!!! *SMASH!* Owww.....

I think it will be awkward at first, and some people will get frustrating. But it does seem like an idea that could very easily just integrate into the gameplay and then we'll look back at old Halo games and ask "Wait, it DOESNT tell you where the power weapons spawn?!" I think it'll just take getting used to.

I've thought about an ability where you create a huge flash of light that blinds players relative to their distance from you. The only way to make it fair though is if it partially blinds you as well, though not as much as someone right next to you. Example: Lets say someone is rushing you with a sword. you quickly acivate your aa (i'll call it "nova" for the rest of this) nova to blind them. You are partially blinded but know you need to move out of the way. The sword guy is now blind and will blindly swing his sword in the initial direction, opening you to either counter or run. Of course the sword guy could simply spin in circles as he starts to regain his eyesight, but this should give you ample time to at least start shooting him or run. So, what do you guys think about "nova"? I would also like to point out that you were upset at the thought of Halo copying another game's feature (CoD hacker) but then you were perfectly fine with Halo using something similar to BF3. I've said this somewhere else, but all games have similar features. its impossible to avoid similarities throughout games, especiallyin today's market.
