  1. imo, halo did lose a lot of fans for the same cut and dry reward system being used over and over. CoD should not be bashed in this, though i do believe that its presence has resulted in the loss of some Halo fans. and if people are complaining about CoD taking no skill, play a round of big team slayer in H3 or Reach, and watch how many ppl try to hoard the ghost or wraith on a level. I personally dont believe that that takes any skill whatsoever. But I still enjoy CoD and Halo. Every game has its noobs, people just cant judge a game based off the noobs lol

  2. I would like 4 player local campaign and firefight, me and my friends were also talking about "why does your spartan model in Reach only hold a DMR?", If there are credits in Halo 4 you could maybe "buy" a new weapon for your spartan model too just simply hold.

    Pretty simple but I still think it might be cool. I also like the idea of very deep customization features for your spartan so "almost" every spartan is completely unique.

     

    I almost think it would be cool for your spartan to hold whatever the tool of destruction was for that game. the hard ones would be the random cone splatters and stuff like that, but i think it would be a pretty awesome system. have your spartan drive a warthog into the center of the screen and climb out partially while your xp is added... sounds cool to me at least, if not unlikely

  3. Longshore! thanks guys. and yeah, i dont know why they would re-do a map that wasnt super popular. I personally would like to see a re-make of Valhalla, but that could just be me lol. Well who knows whats going on inside 343 right now

  4. This map looks.... familiar. What was the name of that one map in Halo 3? It looked like a seaside loading dock, and there was an achievment for getting 3 ghost splatters in one match on it? Well anyway, this picture looks like its from that map. But the pistol, the reticule, and the gun image in the top right are all very convincing.

     

    If anyone knows the name of that map from halo 3, please let me know!

  5. After watching numerous analysis videos (most of which were just people like us making theories) I honestly am not sure how or where the game will play out. I have unfortunately not had access to any of the Halo books, so i cant exactly prepose a theory... but after reading some of these posts, i do have a better grasp on what could be.

  6. I feel lke if they bring dual wielding back, they should encompass more weapons in that field. maybe add some new guns that can be dual wielded to allow for experimentation on the best combo or one that suits the situation.

     

    But it would still be cool to have them back =)

  7. I think the armor looks pretty good. It does make him look like he would actually be able to do all the acrobatics that the spartans in halo wars did during their fight with elite guards (halo wars cinematic titled "Monsters"). Of course it looks awkward to us now, but as we play the game more this new armor will become the norm while the old armor starts to look more foreign to us. Changes happen, and i do not think this change should shrug anyone from playing the game.

     

    I know when it comes out, i'll be playing the crap out of it even if chief was in a dress lol

  8. These are all topics and ideas that have come up previously when reach was being made, and, unfortunately, bungie did not apply any of these ideas to their forge. Hopefully 343 will take a little more notice of our cries for better forge and give us what we want. However, i would not be shocked if these ideas are not put into action. many of us (myself included) have limited or no knowledge on how difficult or time consuming all of these items would be. I would love to see these ideas blossom in Halo 4, but ask yourself this....

     

    Are these forge ideas so crucial to you to make the game that you would be fine with the launch date being pushed back significantly so as to put these in the game?

     

    If not, then dont be too disheartened if not all of these features are in the game. Like i said though, it would be awesome to see them in the new forge.

    well on a more serious note, i would like to see a human one man vehicle that has some firepower. so pretty much a UNSC version of the ghost, like a mongoose with a gauss cannon? ^^^^

     

    or something lol.

     

    Transport vehicles i am strongly against. we will get them and then complain that we load up the ENTIRE team in one and we all die. i can feel the rage now, and it would be preferable if it was avoided.

     

    Though im interested to see what forunner vehicles make an appearance =)

  10. Well to avoid the obvious "more guns" topic, i think that the armor abilities should be EDITED. I would like to see abilities focusing on map navigation (jet pack, sprint, and even evade) to be kept and maybe even add some more abilities. active camo was cool, but hologram (at least for me) barely ever fools anyone or has next to no practical usage. the best you get from it is a short burst or shot on the decoy before the realize its fake. I personally have nothing against armor lock, but it has frustrated many players and should probably be taken out.

     

    If anyone has any ideas on some good map-nav abilities, let me know! i would love to hear some ideas
