If the enemies in the trailer are prometheans then i would be very dissapointed that 343i would creat such a powerful and magnificent species that are so weak theat a human can destroy them. My theory is as it is with alot of others s that these AI sentinals are possibly a combination of AI fused with biological lifeforms. Its possible that the composer could have done this, as for who the biological figures were they could have been prometheans that died in combat but very doughtful. In Cryptum the didacts Warrior prometheans that fell in battle had their conciousness placed into multiple War Sphinxes. If that is so why downgrade their power by placing them into the weaker Knights and lancers? Some think they could be florians (Hobbit sized humans) for the small arms we see come out of the knight but chief is 2meters tall so it could be the ancient humans in general fused with tthe technology for the red human skull resemblance from the knight (of course it looks different but overtime any species bonestructure would most likely change a little).

Yea we already know that. . . . . .just forerunner tech not sentient beings though Well the Builders were the one who created this doomsday device and seem to not like anyone get in their way. the Prometheans are a very strong forerunner group with strong opinions. the only reason they are lower class is because the Didact did not want to participate in the creation of the halo ring because they were an abomination to life itself so he proposed a shield world method but the builders diregarded them and within their power they forced him into his cryptum and made a mockery of their defenders of their race. (if you think of it you should let the warriors fight the enemy because thats what they are trained to do, not the political heads that think the only method to eliminating the threat is by nuking it with everyone else). Exactly! when they are saying Promethean Knight, Watcher, and Crawler I see more of a classification of Promethean weapon system that happen to be AI. Of course to add a note on this people that this does not confirm prometheans as our enemy. Just because the forerunner tech is doing its job of eliminating and threat entering the program doesnt mean the forerunners intended for that but arent there to tell them what to do.

sorry to be the one to tell you this but John isnt the last spartan out there of his spartan II program. it is very likely that there will be spartan IIs on the infinity to help train the new spartan IVs

you certainly have that opinion to think so i just hope that you will at least keep you mind open and positive for the game, because its sad to see someone leave a game because of a specific charactar class. who knows mabye you finds something else you also like in the halo universe for it it numerous your statement make sense until you say that their stupid for not being you and seeing what you see. all you are accomplishing is being not a fan to halo by driving fans away from the industry so that would make you not a true halo fan by your definition And on the statement of the end of the human covenant war, it is more seen as a stalemant. in glasslands the whole time (which the infinity comes from where multiplayer takes place) the whole purpose of the character in that book are to find away to completely eleminate the threat and if not then stall them enough so the humans can prepare to obliterate the sangheili when they start to recover which would need some good training in human to sangheili combat and the AI of the ship could control the sangheili duplicate in the practice deck. you have mistaken someones opinion of what they think as whining and complaining. "complaining" is someone using the forums how they should be and putting out their opinion whether there is change or not. Now you are also entitled to tell them your opinion on their opinion but that doesnt mean their lower then you as a fan because they care about the game and are trying to tell them as a fan that they do not like this. "Being concerned" is someone who has an opinion but doesnt share it. if they really felt concerned then they should share their opinion. that doesnt mean their correct or their wrong, its just what they feel. So alls you're saying is that if someone has an opinion and shares it then they are inferior to the people who either dont care to share, to lazy, or feel threatened to give it out. sounds like a dictatorship with your system to me. .

@trukill83 - what do you mean by a true halo fan? you say that if people dont agree with this specific aspect of a halo fan then that doesnt make them true? you can define a true halo fan in many ways: there are halo fans that are solely fans of grifball, there are fans that are solely fans of Matchmaking slayer, there are fans that dont care about the gameplay as long if it fits within the halovers correctly and vise versa. It doesnt matter if the fan doesnt agree with 343i for the choices they make is doenst take that right of them being a fan away. I agree that halo can accept this change of style and still be halo but if someone doesnt think so then that doesnt mean that person isnt a true halo fan. My personal view of myselfbeing a True die hard fan is someone who beats all the games on legendary, reads all of the halo books, active in multiple forums, knows the latest news on halo, knows all there is to know about the halo lore. this doesnt mean your not a true fan of halo if you dont do these things. So there really is no TRUE halo fan, there are different types of halo fans. As an example its like saying someones not a true american if they dont agree with the republican party of the democrat party, they can still be a true american (that also goes with other countries im just using my home country as an example). So overall i agree about halos changes are good, i disagree of your not a true halo fan if you dont like the changes.
