so as a little update to bungie i did not know they went with activision back in 2010 and plan on making 4 games for them and off year dlc packs of some sort, does someone know more about this information that could expound on that?

yea your right, they made us a great universe of halo and if it werent for the whole team then we probably wouldnt be in this forum today talking about how great halo is. I also can see that some took a safer route with bungie for job security. sorry i wasnt intending to make most of bungie for leaving sound like jerks, i think that they saw that bungie couldnt continue halo for it would start to crash and burn so thats whey they wanted to stop on halo 3, but when microsoft told them it had to continue with or without them then my thoughts are that they wanted to finish with a bang and really give us as fans everything they had left with halo. now we have 343i which is an entirely new company with some bungie employees to make sure that halo doesnt turn the opposite direction that bungie would have intended, thanks for the post sorry for the double post

it looks like their whole goal is to make a bigger transition from one game to another with alot of new content while keeping it the same feel the industry has always had so i agree with you statements fully

yethanks ive seen so many skepical people about 343 i just wanted to give some people i different view of it rather then think its a new team now knowing what their doing really? i did not know that could you post a link on this information and if not thats ok im am just curious for all of the documentaries on 343 and for lots of those people saying how long they've been with halo

halo wars 2 could be a game between the major series games 4 5 and 6

We have been seeing alot of skepical views of parts of the community who think 343i is messing up halo for what it was by using similar experiences as other popular games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield 3, and Gear of War 3. well let me tell you why i think 343i will do a better job on Halo 4 then Bungie would have. I call it, the 10 year mark. The 10 year mark is the deadline for many gaming companies where they start to fall into a lower quality for their games. with bungie they have been a very great and successful company for the last 10 years and had a great ending game on the trilogy with halo 3, however this was not the end for them. they saw how popular this game was and started to see how much profit and games could still be made. by the time Halo reach came out you could see the lazyness in the construction of the game: multiplayer maps make from campaign, lower quality maps for BTB, and such. Halo reach overall was still a great game. if they had continued on with the franchise after this game they would have started to crumble and end a geat universe just like that. luckily for us some of the bungie employees still cared about halo and when it came to pass that bungie wanted the rights to halo but couldnt get them, they left us to start their other games into developement. these loving halo bungie employees however came back to microsoft and form a new group in microsoft called 343industries (after the halo character 343 guilty spark). as they started to grow, every new employee joined for the soul purpose to put out the best game they could for us as the fans. now they have developed this new chapter to the halo universe and ecxelled at the haloverses expansion and everything we love about it. 343 is starting to form their "first game" as a new chapter to this new saga and want to make it new and fresh while having that same superhero feel we all have when we play as master chief of as our own spartan against each other. These are the first years for 343 in this 10 year cycle and i know that through halo 4 it will not be its last. who knows mabye they will even be able to passs those 10 years that so few game industries have done. All we can do now is wait. . . . . . .

im starting to get a little skeptical with the helmets i keep seeing, i mean they look great but their just soo different with the fact they they have very strange and little visors

i think it could add alot of interesting situation if it was only implemented into spartan ops, what do you guys think?

its not that we think 343 can do what ever they want with the game, its that 343 has already taken the role that bungie was in and has already filled its seat with all of the thought and process of matching canon together and having it make sense. its all of the time they have put into this one halo game and for the fact of everyone in this company choosing to be apart of it because of their love for halo.

for the first time 343industries community forums will be starting a 343i podcast (not offical name) all about halo! It will include the latest news on halo 4, disscussion on different parts of the haloverse, the more popular and contravercial topics in the form and much more. i want to hear what you as the community would want out of our podcast and how often you would like it, as in only once a week, a couple times a week, twice a month, etc. so any constructive comments would be greatly appreciated

and call of duty has taken entire branches of off halo, if you cant see it then your probably stuck one the one sited view of CoD players these days. i have yet seen someone explain to me why call of duty is a good game then other than marketing for money

thanks that pretty much answered my questions, and as for the name thing i guess i was more asking who named you and why that name? what it the deeper meaning to it? if you dont want to buy all of the books i would just get "cole protacol" and "halo evolutions". in cole protacol it splits into following multiple main characters which one of them is the thel vadamee befoe his arbitrary state. in evolutions there is a story about an old sangheili general who goes back to a human planet he glassed and ponders over what he feels like was an atrocity of the prophets and shows some sympathy for them. and if you can most recommended is halo glasslands which is where you will learn alot about the culture in the books. so now you only have to get 3 books

i have some questions about your life if i can find access to it in the most non troll way possible but marly out if curiosity. ( l love the haloverse and am very aquainted with all the directions it has taken but i can tell your more knolegdable about the sangheili structure) 1. how did you have so much contact with your father when most are separated from them at birth and somethimes never get to know who they really are? 2. isnt it in the sangheili culture to not feel sympathy for their own kinds mistakes such as your brothers capture and seen as a mark of shame that would likely never be cleansed. are you saying you are more separate of a view from most sangheili or am i misunderstanding something? 3. what is the average of a sangheili's lifespan such as humans of today are around 78? 4. i know it explains the name system of sangheili in great detail in contact harvest but could you give a brief explanation of your name (as an example you have had military roles in your life since you have a "ee at the end of your name)? I really enjoy your view on life to a certain extent (i cant really say i love sheding peoples blood) and like how knowledgable you are on the species as a whole P.S. are you as involved and informed with the rest of the haloverse as you are with sangheili culture?

I have pre ordered from gamestop and will get the bonuses for the pre order such are the forest armor skin and the artic weapon skin, however i also like the pulse armor skin and the web armor skin (which this one will also come with the bullet emblem and the spartan helmet emblem). I can decide if i want to change my pre order to amazon, or whatever one has the pulse armor skin that being my favorte. why cant i have them all!!! help me decide what to do, and no i think pre ordering from all of them wont help me very much

if you dont know who greenskill is then i think you should get involved a little more with the halo community as a whole and not just on here (not saying here isnt good, here is great)
