  1. the covenant outside of requiem probably did, but there was already covenant on the surface as we have seen
  2. i have always wanted to see this happen. As long as the character animations are the same as regular spartans, then i dont think it would be hard to implement
  3. its very possible that there is already a thread like, but i havent seen one yet.....so here it is what is going to be the first thing you do when you get halo 4?? will you play campaign, start war games, go into spartan ops, or try forge?? for me, i am going to go into forge world, spawn in one of every weapon, aand figure out how to use all of them correctly
  4. he does have a sort of backup system that humans had discovered. He later took control of the human ship and claimed that he was going to find the librarian
  5. your post remimded me of some information about the primordial that i have neglected to mention. First piece of info is about the ancient humans. They had discovered the primordial and interogated him before the forerunner human war. When they asked the primordial about his origins, he gave an answer, and many of the humans that were present at the interrogation either commited suicide or went insane. Soon after, they locked up the primordial in a precursor structure. The humans had been fighitng the flood that time ,and the exact answer that the primordial gave was unknown. I would assume it has something to do with precursors and the flood being the same. the other piece of info is in regards to the purpose of the halo rings. The rings were designed to destroys the flood's food, not the flood itself. the humans had been driven off of the planet with the primordial and it became forerunner territory. The forerunners conducted a test of one of the halo near that system. The blast from the rings wore away the sturcure that the primordial was contained in, and set him free. But notice how it didnt destroy him, because it is meant to destroy the flood's food. This is more evidence to the fact that the flood and precursors are the same
  6. 2 things to say 1) cortana said they were not organic, so it must not be a living creature 2) i had made a thread about the human looking skull that the knights had. An orange human skull with that tiny body like that would not make any sense
  7. ya, i think the way they are exposing the elites is a bit weird. Like in the spartan ops mission that we have seen, the elite in the beinging cutscene has his bellybutton showing.....whats up with this??
  8. i would like to see more strategic gameplay in certain modes as well
  9. i hope there are no red v blue easter eggs. A lot of the community doesnt follow the series and would probably feel left out but any eatser egg is a good easter egg
  10. i dont really care much about how many of them are ex-bungie workers. They are doing a good job so far and i am pleased with their work
  11. Noobs are noobs because they take advantage of bad game mechanics. This is no mistake
  12. Victory Element

    Red Spartan

    this sounds correct
  13. he killed sgt. Johnson.......who would want to be friends with him??
  14. i guess we find ourselves in more deep discussion SternuS @Drunknmasta323 if you read throught this thread, me and SternuS have discussed a lot of information about precursors, forerunners, and the flood http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/11910-are-precursors-humans/
  15. The other halo games are in the past, and a big future is ahead of the halo universe. No matter what the changes are, it will always be halo
  16. when i read that i just pictured four spartans with skulls running down a tunnel with a kill ball rolling right behind them
  17. that makes sense. I hadnt thoguht about that yet. i can always count on you Tallgeese
  18. thanks for the pic. It looks pretty......interesting..... i've never seen anything like it before
  19. i had always wanted to do something like that. You would have two teams and they would have to destroy the other elephant/mamoth by using their own. if its on a mission of peace and it stopped on a planet, the ship wouldnt land on the surface. UNSC ships are build in the atmoshpere and arent even designed to land. So the troops that send to the surface would need these mobile bases to use as shelters and rally points
  20. it is very ture that we are all here because we love gaming, but everyone is different. We all have different opinions about the various topics on the forums, and it is fine for everyone's voice to be heard. But it is the way that people respond to those opinions that causes problems. If someone put out a wrong fact, correct them kindly and share your thoughts. You dont need to call them stupid and say that your opinion is better. We are all equal, and it is okay to voice our opinions appropriately but then there are those who come on here to annoy people.....They simply make a profile so they can troll and such, and they find it entertaining when the community gets mad at them. These people should simply be ignored and replying to them will only encourage them to do more. There are also those who come on here and complain about everything they dont like. Some people start saying they are wrong with their opinions and arguments arise. These two types of people should be ignored by the community and/or locked by the mods. but it really all comes down to the golden rule....treat others as you want to be treated
  21. this would be a really cool idea, but it would be very hard. Running a whole radio station takes full time workers that want a salary. And this station wouldnt take in a whole lot of money. In regards to music, almost every FM station is dedicated to 1 or 2 genres of music. Too much of a variety may cause arguments if people dont get their taste of music. and the largest problem.....this community is international. Many people wouldnt be able to get the radio channel if they live in place like the UK or Australia. again, i say this would be really cool, but it just wont happen
  22. i cant choose one over the other. you can beat the campaign, and then a new mission comes out each week. its a win, win situation
  23. i think a covert ops mission would be very cool. Nightfall didnt really make that cut in halo reach. something where you have to get into an enemy base and retrieve some sort of intel. You would have to sneak around the facility using camo, and coordinate distractions from your teammates to draw attention from the guards. i wouldnt really care what weapons you would have, but anything silenced would be nice. or another mission where your base was bombed and you need to find survivors. You would start out with no weapons and would have to obtain them by killing enemy infantry in the wreckage from the base. Then you have to rally up the survivors and get to an extraction point but in general, i would like to see more urban based missions in halo. That probably wont happen in halo 4's campaign, but we can hope for spartan ops. The exodus mission from Reach has always been my favorite, and i want to see more missions like that one
