  1. the flag one takes way too long, and if you have stolen a flag, the other team will waste no time finding you. If you even get an assassination and enemy reinforcements arrive, you're toast. But the oddball one seems ok
  2. I would like the end of the final mission to have an intense warthog action scene like the end of halo 3 and CE. I feel great cruising in my warthog with that heroic music playing and explosions all around me! Otherwise, i have a feeling that Chief will get Cortana fixed by a forerunner or something like that. I would hate to see her die, because who would talk to Chiefinside his helmet in the future halos?? I would enjoy it if the legendary ending had something to do with the flood or precursors. And i also wonder what will happen to crew of the Infinity.......
  3. i recently made my own trailer that i put in the halo 4 forums as well. It was my first vid that i have made on my own it plays out a little bit similar to yours. Check it out if you want, and i also did enjoy the trailer. It transitioned well(compared to mine) and the music was good. Nice work, i hope to see more if you continue to make vids

  5. the new look doesnt bother me......and i think it makes the grunts look more intimidating......but they still wont be able to kill me.....
  6. ya i do agree a bit with all of the variables that will be added in. I;ve always liked how the games start out with everyone being an equal and battling it out for weapons and such. With these "perks", they havent seemed to affect the gameplay that i have seen very much, but i havent played the game so i wouldnt know for sure. With all of the changes that 343 is making, they will either make or break halo...... make it good....

  8. that was a great vid. It seemed to flow a lot better than the original trailer and it kept the intensity going. I recently made a trailer for halo 4 if you want to check it out. It in its own topic in the halo 4 forums. It says "halo 4 trailer(must watch) fan made"
  9. i could do better with that next time......if there is one...... the reason i made my youtube channel was just for that one vid, and i dont know if i will make any more. Its a lot of work and time, and school will be starting up again for me soon
  10. i never liked the screams. Halo is not suppossed to be gruesome, but the screams make it sound that way. They have always seemed to bother me..... and it seems a little cruel to enjoy a painful scream
  11. from what i know, the drop shield is already confirmed to be in the game it hasnt been seen it in any of the gameplay vids yet, but that doesnt mean its gone
  12. you do have some really good points, and I wanted to keep the idea simple enough to keep the gameplay the way it always has been. I figured it would end up on the D-pad almost like you said, stuff like up-advance(while firing) down-stay back, in cover(hold fire) left-resume normal AI habits right-activates position marker(aim reticule at desired destination to position troops). it needs to stay simple or it would impact the gameplay too much
  13. ya that was probably the one thing that i had the most difficulty with. And it was also hard picking the music because there are lot of decisions to make. I wanted to use something somewhat recognizeable, but not mainstream. I feel i did ok with this but it might not fit everyone's tastes
  14. I dont think i'm the only one who gets frustrated when my AI marines run into the middle of the battlefield and get sprayed with plasma during the campaign. A new feature that would be simple and effective in future halos would be AI controls. It could use the squad system like in reach when walk up to group of marines and it displays their names as part of your squad. Once in your squad you could give them simple orders in combat situations. Things like hold fire, take cover, open fire, advance, etc.... You could aslo be able to position them in areas where they would be most effective on a battlefield.Or, let them fire at will within boundary that they wont advance past. i would like to have cover fire when i actually need it for a change. I could position my marines in a strategic spot, keep them in cover while i engage the enemy, and then give them the order to fire from their position. these would be optional actions so you wouldnt have to go through the trouble if you didnt want to. The AIs are pointless if they get killed in 5 seconds and this would add an interesting strategic element to the game. I know most players dont care about the marines, but i find them usefull when they dont screw up. Any thoughts?

  18. yes, you are just crazy........I'm only kidding Its just a mutual rspect that they have for each other in the military. They are both talented leaders that have a lot of respect for each other

They just seem to take the place of the flood in some aspects...... knights=combat forms, crawlers=infection forms, watchers=jugernauts(i dont remember the name of the big flood guys).....but it will be a new feel.....especially when the crawlers will shoot at you. I heard something about long range crawlers that shoot a projectile similar to a sniper rifle.......and boy will those be hard. Imagine an agile crawler, that is elusive from its speed and size, firing sniper rounds at you. Scary

  23. no you cant. thats the problems that i was having so i actually had to use two different converters. One would download the youtube vid into my videos, the other would convert the vid from mp4 to wmv
  24. you cant anymore, but i'm happy with my halo 3 nameplate for now
